Would love your honest opinions please. My hair always has the 'frizzy' bits so hopefully they will be tamed better. Just what to know what you all think about the style of hair and makeup. Some are just hair and in some my makeup is done as well.
Ignore the stupid faces I'm pulling, please.
Thanks!

Photobucket won't work for me so I've put on the direct links. Hope they work.

Like your eye makeup ... but you have really beautiful large eyes, you could enhance them so much more. I think you really needed to get pics out in natural light. It's very hard to see detail in your hair.

The rest of your makeup is very very natural, is this the look you were going for?

Your hair is nice. Are you wearing a veil or hairpiece or netting? If it is just going to be your hair on your own without a veil I think pretty hairpins or a clip would really look great.

I love the hairstyle! I think its really soft pretty and elegant smile.gif

Did you wash your hair the same day as your appointment? I would make sure that you wash your hair the day before the wedding as hair that is not freshly washed, tames better than hair that has been just been washed! I too have wispy frizzy hair biggrin.gif

Your makeup looks again very soft and pretty. I am assuming that you were going for a very soft and natural look? If so then its spot on. The only thing is to ensure that the MUA gives you some products for top/ups on the day. The very soft look you have will tend to fade out quicker than a bolder look, so having some stuff on had will ensure you can keep that fresh glowing look all day long !

Your eyes are GORGEOUS by the way biggrin.gif
Counting down the days till a star is born!

I found out yesterday you were on your way
The sun it shone a little brighter
My heart was filled, with love, to bursting
And my step became a little lighter
I cannot see you or hear you
I cannot touch you where you are
But simply knowing you exist is a miracle
A love you already my little super star!

I would go a bit darker on your eyes...they are gorgeous but need a bit more oomph!!
Just think it is your wedding day not just a night out, go that little bit further and make it more special.

I would bring up any concerns with your hair & MUA and go from there smile.gif

Thanks so much for your feedback. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup so was going for a soft natural look. I was thinking I might need to go a little darker on the eyes so I will talk to her about that. The makeup did seem to last quite well after the trial which was good. I never seem to be able to make it last on me. She is going to give me little pots of the makeup I'm using so I can reapply.

I did wash my hair on the day, but would usually wash it the day before and will do that on the wedding day. I will be wearing a veil for the ceremony and then want to put small crystal combs in the side for the reception. I haven't found any I like yet though!! I had a big one that I don't like anymore so am still searching.
I have brought all of my ideas up with my Hair and Makeup lady, so everything should be perfect on the day. My big day is a week from Saturday so it is very soon. Ahhh!

Thanks again everyone. Oh and thank you for the nice complements too smile.gif

Definitely just 'try' darker eye makeup.. take a photo and compare to the last one.

You just have eyes that can really handle dark, sexy eye makeup (note the jealousy? lol) so why not go for it at least one day in your life?

And I feel that more dramatic makeup is required for your pro pictures, this is based on advice from my brother who is a hobby photographer. You'll stand out more in them and who doesn't want to look glamorous on their wedding day?

Hi readytowed

Hair looks gorgeous and soft

Make up i think needs to be a little more heavier.... and the eyes I would agree with Sarah and go darker.. make them pop!! biggrin.gif .... I think a blended smokey eye would suit you perfectly...

I'd also put a little heavier blush ... and i even think some individual false eye lashes would really suit you

You are gorgeous!

I love your hair it's so pretty and girly.

As for the makeup go for what you feel comfortable. Make sure you try heavier eye makeup before you decide on the lighter natural look... Just to be sure.

Maybe some eyeliner would be nice to close to the lash to define the outside of your big pretty eyes.

I was just thinking how gorgeous you are! I look forward to seeing your wedding pics.

I like both the hair and make up. As you have already said you might want to go a bit darker. But it looks beautiful.

Completely agree! You look stunning, however i think you need a heavier base, eyes and some false lashes would make your eyes look amazing.

I think Minky has really got it all!!

You hair is stunning!
