This colour sample is almost identical to the dresses for my bridesmaids.

I did have a poll on bouquets in the General section but got the colour swatch out this morning and realised that the dress colour on the internet is alot lighter than real life.

What flowers/colours would you put with this colour? I would LOVE some advice, suggestions, input, ANYTHING! I'm considering all options, I'm so stuck on this it's not funny. Dress style is below:

gorgeous colour and dress!

we had a very similar colour, although darker. i chose a very simple bouquet of cream roses for my girls, but i think maybe some pale pink and white peonies would look really pretty? like this -

IPB Image

you could then have touches of silver, ie shoes etc.

i actually incorporated brown with my theme. you could maybe have similar, perhaps mocha? i love those colours together!

there are so many choices, i'm looking forward to seeing what you choose!! tongue.gif

note: oops, sorry bout the size of that pic!

I love the idea but I think the florist said peonies aren't in season in April and they'd be hard to source. I am definitely thinking a pink bouquet or all white/offwhite bouquet.

thats a shame about the peonies, but i think a bouquet of ivory and pale pink roses would be just as lovely smile.gif

I would go really simple with such a bright beautiful colour. Maybe a cream or white posy

I remembered seeing gorgeous long stemmed roses in a bridal magazine I bought recently. I've scanned it in here for you all to look at, I think this in white would be nice with the bouquets? Thoughts??

In my personal opinion, I think the stems on the roses are a little too long, but that is just for me. They definately make a statement and I thought they were attractive when I saw them in the same magazine...

I know you also have parasols for your girls, have you considered having them carry the parasol and wear a white/pink rose wrist corsage instead of the bouquet?

I am going with the corsage for my bridesmaid.

Given your bridesmaids are going to be carrying Parasols, I would go for something like a wrist corsage of white roses. It might be a bit much having a bouquet and a parasol at the one time.

Now that the ceremony has been moved indoors the parasol's are for picture purposes only. If we were still having the ceremony in the garden of our reception centre I would definitely consider wrist corsages but I don't want them to carry parasol's indoors so I would love to splurge on a gorgeous bouquet for them.

Hi Lisa

I really do think I'll have roses, I have had my heart set on them since I said yes to David's proposal. I just love so many flowers in a bouquet arrangement tongue.gif
