Yay, a new thread for our little ones!

Amy, you need to update your ticker too now!

I'll get a pic to you of Alex, I didn't take many on his birthday so will see if Mum has a nice one from his party, otherwise I've got some I've taken recently which might be nice!

Good luck getting the terrible twos to stay away LOL! 3 months ago I never would have dreamed that my little angel was capable of throwing a whopper tantrum! Oh how wrong I was laugh.gif

Note my ticker still not updated laugh.gif Should really do that now, since you're forcing me out of my lalala land!

Happy birthday to Delaney and Taylor for the last week!

Bit of an update on my boys since I'm so slack!

Jack suddenly seems so much more grown up the last week or so. His speech is coming along and he's now up to 54 words, his comprehension is fantastic, he understands about 95% of what we say to him. He loves to help and if you wwant him to do something you have to mention"help" and he'll do it straight away! Still a monkey man, his little chairs have been confiscated and his table is currently upside down because he was dragging it into the kitchen to climb on to the bench! He helps himself to 50 bazillion apples a day, eats them core and all (ewww). He loves to dance and sing and has started mimicking his dvds and copying the dance moves, we're going to start looking around for a dance class for him next year.

He and Lew are getting along like a house on fire at the moment, Lew is crawling now and is constantly following Jack around, so adorable watching them play together, they get so much joy from each other. It's not uncommon to find Jack in Lew's cot or hanging off the side of it when I go in to get them up in the morning.

Can't wait for the next influx of Junebug siblings!

Nicki, I keep thinking of that conversation you had with me about the tantrums. Just remember not to stress about them when you are in the company of people you know, because really they don't think badly. When out and about though, make sure you give any old biddies what they deserve wink.gif

Megs, sounds like Jack is coming along beautifully! I love it when they sing/dance to their dvd's. It's funny, I remember saying to a friend about a year ago, oooh I can't wait until Taylor does that, because her boy was a pro. And now she does and I love it! wub.gif

Taylor had a great one last night. No wakeups, minimal coughing. I had the vapouriser on again.
Her nose can be so disgusting though. Just out of the blue will be a heap of green snot coming out. I wipe it away then get the fess aspirator and eeeeew!
I think the ab's have already started having an affect on her bowels. This mornings nappy was disgusting so I aint putting her in cloth today. It even leaked out the legs onto the babyology shorty! Just means I have to get off my butt and go to the shops and buy more nappies :sigh: I'm feeling exhausted and don't want to move though.
My throat is playing up, it doesn't hurt, but it just feels weird and I don't feel 100%. It's funny, because I was all full of mucous and sneezing from allergies and in one day the mucous has practically gone and been replaced by the throat thing.

Just cancelled Taylor's makeup lesson for swimming tomorrow :sigh: and no doubt will have to cancel Fridays lesson, argh! She has two makeups to take, so the others go to waste. Thankfully next week is the start of the new block.
Will have to look at Kindygym again too. Said I would put her in at 2 years of age as that is when they start at a local one.

About the photos, because we don't get alot of June Mummies visiting here anymore, I will wait for the usual suspects photos and then do it up. Means it will be very small! Blah to those who still post on I-do but can't be bothered with us tongue.gif
So who is the regular list?

Mish/Delaney
Rosa/Alex
Megs/Jack
Amy/Taylor
Tracey/Jasmine
Rita/Grace
Eliza/Ashlyn (posted yesterday, busy with wedding)

Nicki, would Em like to be in our photo collage ?

Nicki, oh I can't wait for the tantrums to really kick in unsure.gif Alex is pretty good, has little mini meltdowns, usually because he wants something and either he can't have it or we don't know what it is he wants... I'm trying to teach him to say "I want..." rather than just pointing or whinging!

Megs, Alex is the same, he loves to help! It's wonderful having someone who wants to carry the washing to the laundry and pick up things, especially when I don't feel like doing it myself these days laugh.gif

Amy, glad to hear that Taylor slept well last night, got to love yucky nappies, Alex has done 3 really smelly poos today and I actually gagged changing the last one ICK!!! I got a really sore throat last week and have just got back from the doctor with ABs, I have a secondary infection in my chest, now I've got a couple of weeks to clear it up before I have my c-sec sad.gif

I think that's about all of the us in the usuals list... I agree, we need a pic of Em too!

Just spoke to Scott and he's planning on being home in time for Alex's dinner/bath tonight (conditions always apply though!) which will be great, I'm shattered and ready for bed already sad.gif

hi everyone, i made it in here...see i stick to my scouts honour hehe

I seem to remember pretty much the same stories leading up to the 1st birthdays last year sad.gif
I hope everyone feels better soon!

Nicki...Ashlyn has the worst temper ever, she is such a stubborn little thing, unfortunately for me the terrible twos have been around since about the 18 month mark!!
Screaming, stomping feet, throwing things, throwing herself to the ground and biting!!!! She gets a time out in her cot and a stern talking to whenever it happens and it is slowly dwindling off....thank god!!
The stubborness will never go away i dont think haha

Amy...Ashlyn loves to sing and dance especially to Justine Clarks songs, The Fairies and Dora, she even knows the actions to some songs which is soo cute! Usuaqlly she just sings along without words just the same tone and little sounds smile.gif

I will send a picture after her party...hopefully i can find a newborn one on this computer, i think i put them all on discs lol

Oh Rosa sad.gif I hope you are better asap.

Sometimes Taylor talks too fast for us or it's babble, so we try to remember to say to her "Taylor, use your words".
I swear having a good talker is such a curse though. When she is clingy and on my lap on the floor she constantly tells me, standing up! standing up! But the cutest thing atm is when she watches Trotro and tells me Mummy, troto splashing the water! wub.gif

I had a big rest this arvo, slept for a few hours. Feel good. Have only had muesli, black tea and 6 slices of vegemite/nuttelex toast today. God the toast tasted great.

Thanks Eliza. laugh.gif @ yuck.

I think my throat is irritating me more right now because of it being night.

Taylor gave me a fright tonight. We were in the living area where the dining table is and I was reading her one of her new ITNG books. Her porridge for dinner was in the fridge cooling down and I had the timer set for 10 minutes. When the buzzer went off Taylor went running into the kitchen, head down, so couldn't see if there were any obstacles in the way. Then I realised she was going to run smack bang into the kitchen drawer she had left open.
She hit it with her face, flew back onto her bum and then the rest of the way to the ground. Picked her up and couldn't see anything, cuddled then checked again and the blood had started. Thank goodness there wasn't alot, but she hit the corner of the drawer right on the skin part at the corner of her eye and then a little gouge below that. Swelled straight away but thankfully she calmed down quickly and let me put the ice brick in the corner of her eye. That's twice she has injured that same eye, already has one scar on her eyelid. I told her she is supposed to leave those sorts of injuries up to the rough boys.

Ohhh no Amy!! They are so clumsy at this age arnt they!!
I hope she is ok, luckily it was below her eye and not in it, silly chook!!

Ashlyn is constantly running into the walls of our house, every day!!!
The worst thing she did was fall down next doors fron steps she got a bit carried away and fell on the last one, smashing her face on the cement flat on her nose!!
She ended up with a bloody nose and a big scrape up her forehead sad.gif

Thanks Amy smile.gif I know that I shouldn't worry too much about her playing up in public I have just found it super hard... Hard to explain but she was always such a perfect well-behaved angel and its really like someone just flicked a switch one day... I guess I find it hard because there was no lead up! I am getting used to it now though wink.gif I am sure she will grow out of it!

Yep I will send through a piccie of Em on her birthday for you she can be an honarary Junebug (4 months early LOL)! Hope Taylors yucky poos go away soon! Her probiotics should be helping! When Em gets yucky poos from ABs the probiotics seem to clear it up really quickly!

Rosa - Sorry to hear you are sick so close to the end of you pregnancy! Must be awful!!

Us - not much just work and daycare as usual! Can't wait for this rain to stop - its hell driving over to the southside when its raining this hard everyday! Kindygym has closed for us over the school holidays so I am thinking of taking Em to the Thursday kindygym class (the only one that still runs through the holidays) but it would mean ppulling her out of daycare for the morning for a few weeks...... Hmmm we'll see how motivated I feel on Thursday! Back to uni next Monday for my LAST SEMESTER EVER!!! YIPPPPEEE!
