I just wanted to chime in here and tell you about something missy here^^ hasn't. She probably doesn't remember because she was rather loved up on her wedding day, but she did say to me at the reception that the sleeves had fallen off her shoulders all day and were driving her mad. Now she might have forgotten that since, but I haven't as it's my first thought every time I see capped sleeves. That shouldn't stop you having them if you want them, but be aware that they probably will slide off your shoulders alot.
LMAO, i remembered that in the car on the way out last night, and was coming back to mention it You are so handy K, you remember the bits i forget about my wedding (like what i ate )
OMG! That is hilarious I was having a good chuckle reading that! i have kind of expected them to slip down because even in the picture from the designer they look like they are slipping! I don't mind them slipping (but I haven't had to deal with them yet so I reserve the right to complain later ) I just like the idea of a little more coverage up top to break up the large expanse of chest.
I don't even know how to reply to that, that is one of the sweetest most complimentary things that someone has ever said to me Thankyou, you are really very sweet
My straps were loose to start with, as my dress alterations lady was shit! they just sewed them on where they thought they should go, not where they should sit on my body. As you can see, it was only one side that kept slipping, but it gave me the shits the whole day. But it was mroe the seemstresses fault, not the sleeves. but definatly make sure they are firm.
other awesome part about wearing sleeves, you can wear a strap on your corset, if you go down that path
