Thanks to those who answered my question smile.gif I just didn't know if it would be seen as weird or not. It's definitely not weird for us.

I carried a bouquet, as did my bridesmaid. My mother and my husbands mother has a wrist corsage and my father, my husbands father, the groomsman and my husband all had a buttonhole.

I've never been to a wedding where all the siblings and extended family were given flowers.

I had a bouquet, as did my three bridesmaids and my FG. DH, the three groomsmen, FIL, my Dad, and the page boy all had buttonholes. Our Nanna's had a corsage each (neither my Mum or MIL wanted a corsage).

We had only the bridal party. We had a very casual wedding and it would've looked just strange for others to have them.

Well I had a minimal... I had the bride bouquet & 3 BM bouquets that used fresh flowers...
& then I had mum, dad, MIL who had fake (but incredibly lifelike) corsage/buttonholes.... which matched perfectly & didn't wilt or brown like I had seen in the past in other weddings.
I had none for the groomsmen because of not wearing jackets (not a formal wedding) & didn't want to have flowers simply because "they should" IYKWIM. smile.gif
I bought them gift size mens fragrance & spunky leather belts to wear on the day from myer instead. They were more than pleased I think!

4 Button Holes - Groom, BM, BG and FOB
3 Bouquets - Bride, BMx2

I asked my mum if she wanted anything, she said no, so no one else got anything and I don't think they cared.

All roses, the flowers themselves cost just over $100. It was the delivery that killed me, but had that been better organised... oh well

We had a very casual wedding so it would've been very strange for parents etc to have flowers, so it was bouquet for me, button holes for boys and a wrist corsage for my BM and that was it.

We are giving everyone flowers only because of the surprise thing, we are trying to include our guests in as many ways as possible, and because with our teeny guest list it will look deliberate if we leave a few people out. It didn't end up too expensive I think it was around 30 for the corsages (wrist tied with ribbon) and 12 for button doobies.

I've just started thinking about this, and have realised I have some tricky decisions to make... Should I get buttonholes for my brothers, who will be walking me down the aisle? (but none of Andrew's siblings are involved, but he has 6...) Do ushers get them? (are we having ushers? Does anyone really do that?) Should my step-great-grandmother get a corsage? (She's the only grandparent either of us has left, but I don't really know her that well)
