hey girls

just thought I'd post my bouquets for those of you who arent after "flower" flower bouquets and are looking for an idea for something different...

I made these out of 3 different lining fabrics believe it or not (I needed a fair bit so I was keeping costs down and they worked out really well) I used an ivory, a pinky kinda cream and a soft champagne/latte sort of colour.

I was having huge problems finding the right shades of silk flowers and didnt want the gamble of real flowers you cant the actual bouquets of until the day so I made these and they match my champagne gown perfectly..... (it was very very time consuming process over a few days to make them all up but now I think its worth it!!)

this one is a bit bright but you can see the true colours a lot better:IPB Image

I didnt find anything on the internet, I just kinda made it up from a very loose pattern for fabric flowers for vintage hats.... it was all just trial and error, but I had looked for someone to show me how and failed miserably...

and yes they were all hot glue gunned with floral stems on them...

mine are very small posies because my dress is so simple I didnt want to overpower the dress, but it still took me too days with my sewing machine and hot glue gun to make up enough flowers for the two small bouquets
