biggrin.gif Morning Ladies, Yayyyyy for some familar faces returning. Not that I didnt love just chatting to Heather but we were feeling a little lonely.

Kaz- Welcome back. smile.gif How good is working less, more time with the bubbys the only down side is less $$ but moneys not everything. I am temporaraly part time just for the month of May and I am loving it don't know how I'm going to go back to full time next month. How quick has time flown it is almost 3 years since we all started chatting. Happy anniversary to you parents I love that after 40years of marrage they are still happy. I hope I am celebrating 40yrs some day. My inlaws aren't far off 40yrs.

Heather good to hear you sister is slightly improving. I'm sure one day she will appreatiate what your mum and nan have done for her and for that matter what stress she ahd caused for everyone else. I know how you feel about not having your Mum around at times like you have been through. Unfortunantly I will never get my Mum back and I really needed her around my M/c too. But we have to carry on and be the best Mummys for our little ones.

Nicki- I'm sorry that little Em is sick again it's horrible when they are sick. I feel for you Jack has been suffering a nasty cold on and off foe the past 2 weeks. His was just a cold I cant imagine what it's like for you for Em to go through 3 illnesses.
- Yay that you are enjoying your new job but as Heather said I don't know how you do it all.

Hello to all the other May Mummy girls.

Its when you realise you have grown up isn't it Simone - when you have to just move on and be a mum yourself! it was good as I just wallowed in my own self pity for a very short time!

Anywhoo onwards and forwards.

Kaz your morning sounds nice and slow! I wish mine was like that. I felt like I had been up for ages and it wasn't even 9am. So made an appointment for Hamish at the GP, we walked down which was nice. Doc put him on antibiotics he said his chest was much more congested then he thought it would be. I hate putting him on antibiotics all the time (last winter he had 3-4 doses) but I would rather do it now then have it progress to him being hospitalised. So will have to go get some probiotics later on to help his gut.

Kaz Nicola is only 20, she had a boyfriend who was 30 last year but he broke up with her and i think that was the catalyst for her to go down this route. her friends have found it really difficult to cope with so have not been so great with visiting! But a couple have and it really boosts her mood.

Hi Simone smile.gif So back to work full-time for you next month? Its funny how we say we don't know how we are going to manage but funnily enough we always do manage. I hope that Jack is keeping well smile.gif

The kids and I went out to the shops earlier and got stuff to make a ham and vegetable soup. I have thrown it all into my slower cooker and think I will cook it slowly for the rest of the day and overnight!!! I hope it tastes ok!

Emily has just gone down for her day sleep and Conor is laughing at the smilie faces on this page - too cute tongue.gif

Oh Conor sounds so so cute! Hamish has just gone down too, but next door have a bulldozer out and picking up bits of concrete and dropping them....so not sure how long the poor mite will sleep for. Chris is in Sydney and was last night so was keen for a bit of a break but not sure what I will get! He keeps waking up coughing too.

Heather - poor Hamish. Did you get to the dr's?? I hope he got a decent sleep and that you got a break!!!!

Emily slept for 1.5 hours and then we all went outside and blew some bubbles. It is quite chilly here now so am thinking early bath for the kids before it gets even colder.

Nope he had a bit over an hour thanks to the noise next door! He was coughing so much he couldn't have slept thruogh anything really. He has perked up a bit this afternoon. We did go to the doctors and he is on antibiotics now! Joy! Hopefully that helps by tomorrow, or even by tonight so the poor thing can sleep, terrible cough on him.

Its cool here too, just cut up the vegies for dinner and oven is on for the roast! Chris was away yesterday and won't be back until late tonight so I'm a wee bit tired! Pathetic isn't it

Not pathetic - NORMAL!!!!!!! It is always harder when you are on your own!!!!!!! Although funnily enough I feel like I get more done when Eamonn is away - LOL!!!!!! I only have 2 children to look after not three! LOL!

We were tempted to have the vege and ham soup for tea but I am going to leave it overnight! We are going to have crumbed chicken and homemade hot chips - so naughty but such the weather for it!!! Mmmmm might go and see if I have some gravy to go with it tongue.gif

Ohhh yummy gravy with the chips, my favourite! You will have to tell us how this soup goes Kaz!!!

Simone what have you been getting up to with being part time....have been thinking of you during this TWW!!!!!

I agree with you Kaz, I didn't have to nag and clean after 2 kids however I also didn't get a single break. Just being able to shower by myself or cook dinner or clean by myself.

Heather - sorry you didn't get a single break. I hope that Chris got home safely and that you had a good nights sleep last night smile.gif
Well I turned the slow cooker off last night as I went to bed at around 10pm and let it sit all night. This morning the ham had all fallen off the bone. I have popped the soup into containers and we will have it for tea tonight.

It is raining here today so not very nice. I am meeting a GF at Macca's for lunch so that will be a nice treat for the kids and they will also get a play!

I am wondering what I can cook in my slow cooker today - LOL!!!! I am thinking a curry!

Hey good work Kaz! The soup sounds amazing how wonderful that you can have it night after night!
I just saw on the news that there is an extreme weather warning for nothern NSW and south QLD, it seems you guys have indeed been getting an asbolute tonne of rain! I wish you could send some here.
Will the kids eat MacDonalds? I'm not sure that Hamish would, he would eat the chips but the burger is just another food that he wouldn't like. He won't even eat choc chip cookies! Just shows he is being fussy for fussy's sake!

I'm babysitting a GF daughter this morning whilst she goes to the hairdresser, I think my other GF is coming over to help so we can have a business meeting whilst the kids play. We have a market this weekend so just preparing everything from what we are wearing to what the table is wearing! lol

Heather - are you enjoying the business. It all sounds so exciting. I need to go back onto your website and have another sticky beak. I have had so many friends you have had baby's lately. Good luck in deciding what to wear laugh.gif

Well it is certainly pouring here today so it will be good to get the kids out. My GF has cancelled on me so my Dad is coming - LOL! The only thing that the kids will eat at macca's are the chips and nuggets. They usually have it every Friday night and I used to get them a meal to share but they both seem to polish off a meal each now - my little piglets. In the last month Emily has become a really big and good eater, which is nice because she used to hardly eat anything and it would drive me totally insane!

Hamish won't eat anything either Kaz! Maybe 2 dinners a week and hardly any vegetables. It drives me insane, Hamish would only eat the nuggets and chips too!

Have fun! I'm sure your dad will enjoy the outing with you all! I should take Hamish one day, they have a good one with a great outdoor play area that is covered down near my GF's house.

I'm so tired today, I really need to get off my butt and get som iron boosters!

Well we had a nice time at Macca's. I ate like a pig blush.gif ph34r.gif I had to grab a few groceries so Dad sat in the car with the kids. Just got home and put a video on for Conor and put Emily down for a sleep. Am thinking I might go lay on the lounge myself wink.gif

We must of posted at the same time laugh.gif

Try not to stress too much about Hamish's eating Heather. I know it is hard but both of my kids went through it. AND Conor still hardly eats. He doesn't eat any vegetables. Well sometimes he we can conn him into having a piece of carrot (yes just one piece) or corn on the cob. He is just so fussy. He only likes crumbed meat such as crumbed chicken and steak and fish fingers. He doesn't mind potatoes if I fry them up on the stove either. He would live on spaghetti, noodles, baked beans, tomato soup or cheese on toast if I let him!!!! Emily on the otherhand will everything!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that you are so tired hun, can you have a rest while Hamish is resting?

Heather - Conor rarely has a day sleep. I am talking maybe once a fortnight. He has been like that since he was 2 1/2. If he has a sleep he doesn't go to bed until we do. Which sucks. Whereas if he doesn't have a sleep he is in bed at 7, the same time as Em and then Eamonn and I have some quiet time.

He will just chill out and watch a video - he is good like that smile.gif
