I love my son dearly but ahhhh so not ready for him to drop his sleep.

He normally goes down for a nap at 2 to 4 but daddy was due to leave for work at 3pm so I kept him up to say good bye big mistake as he became over tired and didn't want to sleep in his cot but when I put him in his big boys bed he got up and played with his toys after and hour of listening to him play I though nope he's not going to go to sleep now because if he did then he wouldn't go now at night time . So I then kept him up as 4pm is to late to go down. so it was an adventful day to say the least plus it was raining so couldn't go outside.

Resting now but the house looks like a bomb has hit and I now have to do the house work that I normally do when he is having his arvo nap. He better sleep in in the morning.lol laugh.gif

Night all.

I POSTED THIS IN OUR OLD THREAD. THANKS HEATHER FOR POINTING THIS NEW THREAD OUT TO ME - LOL! I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN BEEN OVER 2!!!! I WILL READ BACK NOW tongue.gif

Hello girs tongue.gif This is your slack slack slack friend Kaz (that is if you still call me your friend).....

I haven't really had a chance to read back but I thought it was about time I got back on-line and started posting again. Work has finally slowed down for me and I am now working only 2 days a week not 4. Monday I have ALL to myself so this will most likely be the day that I can get on-line in peace and quiet.

How are you all??? I think of you all so often and really miss chatting to you all. How are all the gals and guys? Growing up fast like my 2 no doubt. I can't believe our babies are 2!

Heather - I think about you often smile.gif I am sorry things have been hard on you lately. I know good things are yet to come for you and I am hoping that you are staying positive.

Busty - How are you beautiful? Are you enjoying Sydney? I see your updates on facebook - have you got a car? A place to live/rent?

Jess - how is it all going? I hope Cam gets over his cold? How long now until the wedding? When is your due date also?

Louise - oh how I have missed you! How are you? How are things with Chris?

All has been going well here. We are busy but you know we always are. The kids are great. Emily is a cheeky little monkey with lots of personality. She also knows every nursery rhyme under the sun and is constantly singing. She talks in long sentences now and is singing the ABC's and counting to 10. Gosh I just can't believe how fast they grow up! Conor will be 4 in a couple of months and that blows me away also. He is just great smile.gif
Eamonn and I are going well. I am glad that work has slowed down for me. Time to knuckle down and do an early spring clean. I am looking forward to spending more time with the kids also!!!!

I will be back again soon - I hope we can get this thread up and running again.

Missed you guys wink.gif

Kaz - WOw! Havnt heard from you for ages! Glad to hear that things are starting to slow down for you! I try and keep up to date on facebook but you have all these cryptic status's! Can't figure them out laugh.gif

Em is sick again but this time with a cold bah! This is her third illness since the beginning of APril! Other than that, all is good with my new job and we are moving house in a couple of weeks plus its uni exams so SUPER busy here!

I know what you mean about sickness, Hamish has a yucky cold atm, its headed south and I think it is bronchilitis, Heading to GP tomorrow I think. Can you put Em on an immune booster or something?
Its just my little sister in Brisbane, she is studying there but currently obviously not studying in hospital. My mum and nanna are up there atm giving her support.

Nicki - sorry to hear that Em is sick again sad.gif I hope she gets better for you quickly! You are so busy - I don't know how you do it all.

Heather - I hope Hamish gets better soon too. How is your sister doing anyhow? That is nice she has your Mum and Nan there.

I had a pretty good day. Just veged out at home. Cooked some pumpkin soup. Went to Mum and Dads for dinner which was nice although I think I ate way too quickly so feel a bit sick now ph34r.gif

Oh we had a busy weekend here too. It was my Mum and Dads 40th wedding anniversary and we had a party for them at my place so it was all systems go! Had lovely weather for it and mum and dad seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Well my sister has been in hospital for 2 months I think now, she just got transferred to Royal Brisbane hospital where they have a specialised ward. Mum said there is already a difference in her mental state. I think its great my nan and mum are there but it is terribly exhausting on them and it is hard for the family. I really needed my mum here when I had my miscarriage, I just wanted her, it didn't matter that my friends were amazing I wanted my mum and I didn't have her. Another reason why I hate anorexia. And I couldn't let mum know how much I needed her because that would make her feel worse so I just had to get on with it. Which has been a good thing but still! I don't think Nicola appreciates them being there right now, but she will later on when she is a bit better.

Happy Anniversary to your parents! How wonderulf htat they have had 40 years of marriage to celebrate!

Heather - how hard for you sad.gif I didn't realise you didn't have your Mum there at the time. I can only imagine how that would have felt for you. I am extremely close to my Mum too! I am glad that Nicola's mental state is improving. I can also imagine how exhausting this is for your Nan and Mum. Does Nicola have a partner? A good group of supportive friends? I am thinking of you hun x x x

It has been raining on and off here this morning so I think we are going to chill out at home today. Although I might duck down to the shops to get some vegies to make a soup. It feels weird being home 2 days in a row but nice. It is 8am and Conor is still sleeping, Emily is watching the Teletubbies and I am enjoying a nice coffee tongue.gif
