My rear facing seat is a right PITA to get bubs in and out of. The tether straps are high, so you have to hoist bubs high up to get him in and out. Not too bad as a newborn but difficult now he's piling on the kilos. Is there some magic/simple trick to make it easier that I'm not aware of?

Our car seat is in the middle seat, so would moving it to the left help?

Loosen the tether strap each time. That's what we do. smile.gif

Oliver is still rear facing in the capsule at 11 months. He will be going into a forward facing seat at 12 months. He is almost too long in the torso now, otherwise he would be staying in it to the weight limit (13kg).

Does anyone know how long they can stay rear-facing in the SafeNSound Guardian?

Levi is about 7kg now, and I know the minimum is 8kg, but even though he's doing sit-ups I'd prefer to leave him rear-facing beyond 8kg if possible. Is it just when they dont fit so well anymore?

up to 12kg. And if his legs start to bunch up a bit, that doesn't matter, he can still remain rear-facing.
