What if they hadn't Bronny? What would you have done?

Probably have kept them and kept breeding.

BL I know you have fixed the problem for now for you anyway(well I guess you havent got the cat desexed yet).
Do u agree 2 litters is enough??
Do u have any idea whether new owners will de sex or will they also be irresponsible like you??

Bec - lib - I cant read your posts.

I have seen the others and I'm not entereing into anything. I take full responsibility for my animals and they have a fantastic home. You will all be pleased to know that I have contacted our vet and arranged a suitable time for lilly to be desexed.

If you wish to continue this discussion start another thread. The kittens have found homes as was the purpose of this thread.

Sure

So if you use an internet board to find homes for kittens how can be be so sure htey are going to good homes, with responsible owners. They could be going to the local chinese shop for all you know!

i think this thread is great for raising awareness.

It may just make someone think before they think its all cute and there job is done once they find new homes.
its so much more than finding a new home for a cute kitten

I think more the point Lib is making April is its all good and well to say they are going to good homes.

To me a personally a good home is more than someone that will feed love and provide a warm bed.Yes thats a great life but there is a difference between a good home and a responsible home.

Not too sure what that was about BUT I have met and will be meeting all the new owners so judging by the comment april - i imagaine it would be to do with the new owners.

How convenient, BL. How very convenient to say you can't read people's posts so you can avoid facing up to the truth (though you did remark WHOA and commented no further so I don't believe you). Why did you lie to us about this being a first litter???

And why can't you see the point of all this is this: the people who have those kittens could have saved 15 kittens (all three litters of your cats) from a shelter instead of having these cats. That potentially means those 15 kittens in shelters will be put down.

It makes me so incredibly sad.

I always find these threads worthwhile because they are so educational. They present us with scenarios where people can bring forth their views so that people like me can learn about it.

I think for some people, like Chrissy and Liz particularly, who are so passionately involved and wise in this subject matter, its impossible for them not to respond and bring about discussion because there are so many layers to one big issue.

This thread was about BL trying to find her kittens beautiful homes yes. This is great! But I think its silly not to recognise what others have already raised, as Michelle did, that if those kittens she gives away are not responcibly desexed, they run the risk of producing more babies that may end up in shelters where they will be put to sleep. Should we all ignore this issue? No we shouldnt. I think we should talk about it.

I feel that this has been what the majority have tried to highlight, rather then re-iterate to BL that her cat getting pregnant was a mistake! However, it now seems that BL has encouraged her animals to breed? I'm not sure what I make of this and the notion of bonding due to them having babies. It sounds irresponcible and weird to me.

In summary I'd just like to point out that if it werent for discussions like these, I'd be none the wiser about these issues. Its fantastic when people dont take comments personally but can take away something valuable from a thread. Chrissy and Liz I understand your pain when you feel like people dont understand you or think your dialog is negative, but keep persisting you are an asset to this forum.

Sorry - I didnt mean to upset you.
I had you on ignore after our silly pm fight -

I have read your posts in there and they are very emotive and informative.

Dont be upset for trying to educate people - we may not like one another but when it comes to animals I am on your side.

No Bronny you are not on my side when it comes to animals... I dont let my animals breed so I can bond with them more... I dont need to do that because I have the closest of bonds with all of my animals.
And you can shove your sugar sweet apology up your arse because after half the shit you have said to me I know you are not worth it and it means nothing.

Thank you ladies for bringing this to the forum for me because I was not able to.
I am still so disgusted that you and others still think that this is fine.
