"Iffy" lol, very appropriate laugh.gif

For the record, I changed my name to what it is to avoid another stalker who was following me through these forums. The stalker happened to be an ex of mine, just so you know.

Me being a bully to you? LOL, you give as good as you get tongue.gif

Now let this thread return to what it was originally about. However I shall let you have the last word as I know you so love to do so wink.gif Fire away, iffy!

BL, at one point I honestly thought you were trying to do the right thing.
But as I read this I am getting dressed to take my foster babies back to the shelter in the hope that they would be adopted into a home, all I am feeling right now is pure rage.

If I had my way, you would have no pets at all. But, I am a strong believer in Karma.

I am not going to type anymore.

OK 1 litter is a mistake. But 2 is just irresponsible.
The thing some people seem to be missing here is OK so BL has found lovely cutesy homes for these kittens.Say 3 out of those 5 of those kittens dont get disexed.Potentially there are nother 15 cats and teh cycle continues.

I have no issue with people having a kitten and getting it desexed.Im fine in theory with even having a litter but what im not fine with is then handing over kittens to people who then dont de sex and each kitten goes on tho have a litter ten that litter a litter and so on.

Her other cat Mia had a litter before she was desexed. This is the other cat's (Lily was it?) second litter now.

This is making me sick. We all make mistakes. Fair enough. But to do it again and again is just inexcusable.

When there are so many cats being put down every day in shelters across the nation it is beyond belief that some would choose 3 times to bring more potentially unwanted kittens into the world. These cats do not have a choice. We have a responsibility as cat owners to desex them and vaccinate them as appropriate. You have fallen down in your responsibility and as far as I am concerned do not deserve to have pets.

As I said... sickening.

I agree with you chelle, but i am choosing to beleive that these new owners are good people and are doing the right thing by having their kitten desexed. i prefer to think of the good in people, not the bad, thus i am presuming that they are doing the wrong thing. if i found out they werent i would be right up there in telling them they arent doing the right thing.

I have just booked my 15 week old kitten in for desexing. And FTR - Vet told me 4 months for desexing.

Our local vet has Sexy Tuesdays where you get a 15% discount
So I booked her for
Desexing $170 - 15%
Needles - $52
Microchip - $25

Then I rang the AWL
Desexing - $80
Needles - $59.50
Microchip - $23

What a huge difference! ohmy.gif
