Shame this Choice study does not appear to take into account the latest government recommendations that children remain rear-facing until as long as possible - ideally 12 months.

They never do, as generally the reports were conducted a few months ago. I cant beleive there hasnt been mroe advertising of the new recommendations

It sucks. A friend of a friend's baby was seriously injured in a car accident (whiplash and broken vertebrae) as a result of a fairly minor car accident. She was 8 months and forward facing sad.gif I won't be turning Oscar until we physically can't get him into the rear facing anymore or when he turns one. Just not willing to risk it.

Its a shame the other sections on the website are for paying members only.

I guess they need to make money somehow, but isn't this type of information essential reading for everyone & therefore should be freely available.

Yes it is a shame. I just found this brochure which has test results for different child restraints, could be a good resource too.

That's so sad! I won't be putting the girls' seat forward for as long as I can manage now I've read this.

Its only $21 per quarter and you can buy individual reports if you are keen on making an informed decision.
