6-7 weeks. A few days leave before the wedding, then 6 blissful weeks in Europe, then a few days at home before returning to work...

We've been saving our leave all year, I've had to adjust my project budget to cover a locum, I'll have to work toward it with clients soon, but it'll all be worth it! biggrin.gif

We're having just over two weeks for the wedding (which is OS) and then hopefully 3 weeks for the honeymoon (which we are taking 4 months later in the hope this will sit better with work!)

If we HAVE to, we could squeeze most of our honeymoon into two weeks but I'd rather not!

Man, I feel very boring, we're only away for 7 nights, our choice! We're going to Vanuatu to a resort, and we figure that that is really enough time we need to do nothing, relax. To be honest, we feel that any more time than that would get a bit boring (is that awful?). Maybe we're both a bit like Miranda from Sex & the City and don't need a long romantic honeymoon. We've also both done the long backpacking o/s travel and other stuff like that before..

But still, I do feel a bit dull now!!!! huh.gif

When are you off to Egypt? Have you planned it yet? We're going to Egypt in December and are very excited - I'd love to swap ideas!

We are going to NZ for two weeks. Would have loved a longer honeymoon but we had our big trip to Europe last year.

I think any time the two of you can get away is great. Obviously the longer the better!!

We are going to have about 2 weeks off in total. !0 days for honeymoon on Rarotonga, Cook Islands, and a few days recovery, get settled back down again tme! We havent travelled much at all, so we are very excited just to be leaving the country! Sad I know, but we have children already, and had them when we were young, so travel hasnt been much of an option til now! Cant wait!

We're planning 5 weeks in Europe (1 week southern coast of Spain, 1 week on a canal boat in France, 1 week in the Black Forest in Germany and 2 weeks in Holland)

I can strongly support going to NZ. I lived there for 4 years (been back just over a year) and that where I met h2b that lived there for 20 years (Holland before that). Its a beautiful country. biggrin.gif

We're taking 2 months off, starting with a second reception in Kuala Lumpur, then onto South Korea and Hong Kong. I can't wait!

We are off to Europe for two weeks. We will spend 5 days in Rome, 7 days in Paris and two days in London. We are flying out the day after our wedding. We can only go for two weeks because I am a school teacher and have to do the honeymoon in the holidays.
With our accrued frequent flyer points, we will go away for a week in the Christmas holidays, probably to WA or QLD.

We'll be having a delayed honeymoon (probably in March 06- wedding in Sept 05) and we'll be going to Queensland (Whitsundays area) for a week to two weeks. We'll just see what money and work (hopefully I'll have some!!) permit!! We'll be having a few days away from home straight after the wedding.

I would love to have 8 - 12 weeks off.. But it will just depend on what the budget is like, if we end up going to america and what work is like!!
Nothing is more beautiful then the love that has weathered the storm of life.

We are taking 3 weeks off work. One week prior to the wedding, one week for the honeymoon and one week to get over it all.

We would stay away longer, but we will have a little 3 year old waiting for us at home and I don't want to be away from him too long. sad.gif
