Last Goodbye - Jeff Buckley, no matter how I am feeling or where I here it, I tear up. I have my Ipod on shuffle and it just came on and sure enough, My face is streaming in tears.

In the living years - Reminds me of my pops funeral. Him and my dad did not have the best relationship and it rings so true. We heard it in the car on the way between the funeral and the wake. Ironic.

One - U2 - takes me back to when my parents were splitting up. They were, and still are massive U2 fans and U2 was always on at our house

These Days - Powderfinger - Again takes me back to my parents splitting up. Having to watch my dad start all over again, was heartbreaking, and the lyrics just get me. Actually the whole Odessy number 5 album never fails to make me cry. All the songs remind me of something.

I love music and it always plays a role in my life and I am fairly emotional too. There are probably a million others that do it to me too.

I am extra emotional at the moment and reading this thread has made me tear up a few times.

This song just makes me bawl. I didn't know of it before Love Actually and was going through a really tough breakup after being cheated on when I saw it and I sobbed my heart out in the cinema during this scene. Heartbreaking.

I adore Sarah McLachlan and lots of her songs make me cry, including:
Answer
Do what you have to do
I love you
Angel

Cootamundra Wattle by John Williamson was played at my Pa's funeral, and brings back heart wrenching memories of my father crying and trying to comfort his sisters.

Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton - it was played by one of those bands that play on the beach at Jimbaran Bay in Bali, this was a song my ex used to sing to me, and I was in Bali not long after we broke up. It hurt so much listening to those beautiful voices, I still feel like crying even thinking about it.

Lots of songs by Garth Brooks do too:
The Dance
She's Every Woman
What She's Doing Now
Learning to Live Again

Maybe it is a day for being emotional afterglow? After hearinf Last goodbye, I decided to put on all my known "cry" songs. Then I put my Ipod on shuffle, and it played a whole heap of other "cry" songs

I have two in particular .....

1. Rob Thomas - Ever the Same

Just let me hold you while you're falling apart
Just let me hold you and we'll both fall down

Fall on me
Tell me everything you want me to be
Forever with you forever in me
Ever the same

2. Kasey Chambers - Million Tears

My hands are tied
My head is reelin'
My eyes have cried a million tears
From wishing you were here

*sniffle*
