Who's voice gets your spine tingling? Male or female.

I adore Sinatra, Seal, Bing Crosby... all those laid back, masculine, deep, lounge-type voices. *shiver* wub.gif Females, Sarah McLaughlan.

The modern R&B male voices really grate because to me they sound too much like women... just my opinion! laugh.gif

Male: Taylor Hanson (Loved him back in the Mmmbop days 11 years ago and adore him and Hanson's new stuff now... Love his voice now more than then but songs and lyrics all over!)

Female: Mariah Carey (She can sing... no one can doubt that! Long time fan!)

I am so with you. I love Sigur Ros, if the church had allowed it I would have had Staralfur as I walked down the aisle.

Damien Rice has an amazing voice.

And Jewel sometimes give me chills. Her voice just drips with emotion in some of her songs. 1000 miles away in particular.

Oh, and Eddy Vedder.

That Sigure Ros video clip is fantastic and the song just beautiful. I hadn't heard it before now.

Sierra, I have every one of Seal's albums and I play them over and over. I'm so glad that when he records his songs, his voice is always the central instrument and has the most focus because it's such an incredible sound.

Michael Crawford, though I heard he ruined his voice singing Phantom sad.gif

Kate Bush is amazing too, especially in Wuthering Heights.

Hayley Westenra has a fantastic voice too. Her version of Wuthering Heights gives me goosebumps - HERE

Oh gosh, so many

Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) I can feel his pain in his voice.

Chad Kroger (Nickelback)

Ella Fitzgerald

Beyonce - Her voice sounds stunning in her new song (forget whats it's called - I think "If I was a boy")

Kevin Martin (Candlebox)

I have more but that will do for now, Layne Staley would have to be my standout by far.

Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, Ben Harper, Soweto Gospel Choir, Josh Groban "You Raise Me Up",
