Is anyone going to CMC Rocks The Snowys this weekend? I am! I'm so excited to see Taylor Swift! I'm also seeing her next Thursday night!

Were not going but we went to Toowoomba last weekend and saw Joe Nichols - I wasn't expecting it as I didn't know many of his songs but he was AWESOME.

So jealous about Taylor though I would love to see her but couldn't take anymore time off work to go down.

I only just found this.

Im another country music fan much to the dismay of my husband.

Growing up in outback Queensland country is all we listened to as kids (except for my Abba obbession but thats another story)

There is not much country music available in the UK but I love love Taylor Swift. I love Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks.

I have to download everything so some of the bands you have mentioned I am not familar with.

I am really pleased over here that Taylor Swift has got to number 2 in the Charts with Love Story. Maybe now she will get the recognition over here she deserves.

I'm not a major country fan - but I like Kasey Chambers and the Dixie chicks. A couple of years ago I went to a day on the green that had Kasey Chambers and Pete Murray playing and one of the support bands were Horswood - not sure if anyone has heard of them? I want to know if they are ever bringing out another album.

The Dixie Chicks are my favourite group at the moment. We brought their DVD "An Evening With The Dixie Chicks" just after Xmas and listen to it all the time.

It pretty much covers all their songs off the Home album. It's awesome. smile.gif

Just found this thread.

I am marrying a country boy and he and his family love country music and what I have heard so far I like, his brother is a singer and was a finalist in Toyota star maker, - which I didn't even know existed blush.gif

Have a lot more to learn though but I have no doubt the more I hear it the more I will like it.

CMC Rocks The Snowys was AWESOME! So much better than last year - I have a feeling that next year will be even better!

I have never seen or heard of Corb Lund before, but he was fantastic! Jasmine Rae was awesome and of course so was Steve Ford!

Taylor Swift was unbelievable - I wasn't expecting her to be very good live, but she was so so good! I enjoyed seeing her more at CMC rather than at her Sydney concert, at the Sydney concert it was pretty much all teenage girls - crazy! I actually was a bit annoyed as I heard a lot of them saying 'i don't know why she is country music - she so isn't country music' or 'i was so embarrassed telling my friends i was coming to a country music concert to night'.. People don't know what country music is these days!!!

Anyway, here's a picture for you wink.gif
