Yep, I have heard of Brandon.

To be honest, I'm not a huge Australian country music fan.. the only ones I really like are the McClymonts and Lee Kernaghan smile.gif

I love the American suff.

Oh, and I love songs with Honky Tonk in them!

My wedding dance song was Lost In This Moment by Big & Rich wub.gif

You are so like me its not funny. I am not a big Aussie country music fan, but love American stuff. I don't mind McClymonts and have just discovered Jasmine Rae two weeks ago. Although I am liking her stuff I am finding it a little poppy.

I also used Lost in This Moment by Big & Rich for our Walking back down the aisle song.

LOVE Country music. Didn't always though. I was bought up around good old pub rock... it wasn't til I met DH that I started listening to country.
I love Kenny Chesney, Lee Kernighan, Keith Urban (walked down the aisle to Love Somebody Like You), Big and Rich, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw... love the song he did with Faith Hill... at least I think it was her. I can't remember.

One of my fav country songs is a strange one...
Whiskey for my Men and Beer for my Horses... strange yes but addictive.. I like the version done by Willie Nelson and Toby Keith.

OMG i love Brendon - he doesnt seem to be around much these days. My favourite song of his is rose and rodeo.

He's my cousin wub.gif
My favourite of his songs is "Still Falling"... he sang it at my wedding when we signed the register. It was so beautiful.
He's really busy but is still meant to do at least one more album under his contract with compass bro's. So hopefully/maybe next year???

I am not a HUGE country fan but don't mind it.

I love stuff that borders on "country" rather than out and out country and western.

A friend of ours put hubby and I onto a duo called Kieran Kane and Kevin Welch. They are totally awesome!!

We saw them (with Fats Kaplin) live at Don't Tell Tom's in Fitzroy earlier this year and they were so amazing live!!

My DH loves country music and I do admit I am enjoying listening to his i-pod list.

Our wedding waltz was to Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban.

That was our first dance song as well.
I walked down the aisle to Lullaby by The Dixie Chicks
And leaving the church was When the Stars go Blue by Tim McGraw
Father daughter dance was Ready, Set, Dont Go by Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus
And then countless other country songs during the reception

Hi Everyone,

I went to a concert last night in Narrabri to see Adam Harvey and Catherine Britt and was lucky enough to get to talk to Adam afterwards.

He told me Brooks and Dunn are coming back in May 2009 with Dierks Bently as their support act.

I am so excited and really hope they come back. Their concert was so good last year. I wub.gif them.

Wow, I hope that is true! Brooks & Dunn were awesome last year, Dierks would be great too!

I'm still waiting to see what other international artists will be appearing at CMC Rocks the Snowys other than Taylor Swift.. apparently that will be announed the second week of November..
