Hi girls,

I am a long time reader....first time poster!

I hope to be a lovely larger bride, in about 3 months times actually but its not going particularly well.

I am getting married at the end of December, I ordered my dress all the way back in April. I was told it would be ready by October. Turns out it won't be ready until November. I can cope with that except it turns out I might not be able to wear that dress.

I was fitted today by Debras....turns out I am a 14H!!! o_O!!! I was fitted reccently by a woman in Myer who told me I was an 18E (explains why my bras have been so unsupportive).

But sadly Debras told me that they have no strapless bras in my size. Nothing at all. And that I need to put straps on my dress sad.gif My dress is strapless.

I went and looked at the sample dress of my wedding dress at the shop, and I am really worried that it won't suit straps. But I won't know until novemeber, 1 month before the wedding if I need to suddenly look for a new wedding dress.

The women at the wedding dress shop were normally so helpful and nice when I was choosing the dress, and when I came back worried that it wouldn't fit my massive boobs they just brushed me off.

I am really starting to freak out that I won't have a wedding dress for my wedding day :-( :-(

Do I start looking for another dress?

There are places that cater to 'blessed' girls like ourselves - I'm a 12F and find it hard enough to buy normal bras let alone special occasion stuff so I can't imagine how hard it must be for you.

This place has up to a G but they may be able to special order a H or know where you can go to get the right size, I'm getting my corset from here

Oh - These ones stock up to an L cup apparently - I've bought a few things from them.

Or here - A few members here have recommended this place.

I'm sure you will find something, it may not be easy but there are brands out there that recognise not everyone is a B-D cup! Good luck. smile.gif

Can Debr@s not order you something in? They fitted you as a 14H surely they can get something in for you to try?

14H - Wedding Day Torsolette - It says its has detachable straps ....

I can empathise with you. I am a big girl with small boobs. So I hope you find what your looking for.

Remember you can always buy a 16GG, or an 18G, or a 20FF, even a 22F and have it taken in at the band. These bra give you the same cup size as a 14H, just a bigger band. I'd definitely steer toward a basque or corset style though.

Is the dress itself going to give you any support in the bust?

That's what I was going to suggest.

The girls have suggested some awesome sites for you !!

More food for thought !1 are they able to sew a bra or support into your dress?? I had trouble getting a bra (ran out of time my fault) but my dress maker put extra support into my dress

There is another thread discussing a similar issue in this section

I'm an 16H and i have strapless bras smile.gif So never fear.

I recently found bravimissio and they have a lovely corselette, which I'm going to get for under my strapless dress, and I think it is under $100 aud from memory smile.gif
