My wedding dress became my corpse bride Halloween costume. It was quite confronting at first taking to it with scissors and knife but when I got into the mud splatters, dirt and fake blood it was heaps of fun.

The rings are in my dresser drawer and while I'd like to just chuck them in the river, part of me would like to get some money for it.

My ex asked for them back.

I can only assume he used my e-ring for this new wife considering they were engaged in 2 months and he didnt have the money for a ring as far as I knew.

My dress I have kept because it was cheap and nice and I did alot of alterations to it all by myself.

Accomplishment is the feeling behind my dress..

Rachae, do you think this is possible & I wonder if she knows? That would be an insult to me ohmy.gif I would much prefer to wait until he had the money! Each to their own I suppose, I couldn't help myself but comment on this, what a pisser if it's true smile.gif

Yea I'm pretty sure thats the case, I dont know for sure, But from what I've heard.. The e-ring looks a hell of alot like mine.

And I would imagine she would know considering they were dating when we got married and we had dinner with her together multiple times, she surely would have noticed it.

Something similar happened to me. While it was not an engagement ring, i did have a very nice diamond ring from my ex. I found out he was cheating when his now 'partner' called me one day to say she was pregnant by him. When we broke up, he asked for the ring back, and at the time I had no qualms handing it over. I even got a little giggle when a few months later I saw her sporting the diamond ring on "that" finger. Found out later that yes they were indeed engaged. Wonder if she knows that her engagement ring wasn't only mine, it was a ring he bought me as 'just jewellery' because he felt that it wasn't flashy enough for an engagement ring?
