Phew just had to turn my laptop on again and recheck the date - had a scare when talking to hubby about it, our best friends sons naming day is the Sunday following and for some reason hubby was convinced it was the same day as your wedding Kylz... Phew - now I can sleep easier, so excited I finally get to make someones wedding and be a reporter!

Your wedding sounds like fun, not lame at all - we are doing something similar, because the whole formal dinner thing is not us at all - we want it to feel like a party with our nearest and dearest (I get to go to about 8 formal dinners a year so to me they remind me of work biggrin.gif)

Shame it'd take me 11 hrs to get there!!!

Loving being a mummy and a wife

well....I could if I knew lol. I *think* you just come along to the wedding, take photos, enjoy the day and then come back here and write a 'report'? unsure.gif That way every one gets their photo fix straight away rather than wait till the person gets back from their honeymoon (which we arent going on sad.gif just 1 night away in a hotel)

Just a warning to anyone interested in doing it. Im not having a big fancy wedding.... H2B is very shy and Im not into pomp and ceremony so it's just going to be a really laid back day. The ceremony and reception are at the same place since Ive got elderly sick grandparents and my kids to worry about. It's a day time wedding on a Sunday, cocktail style finger foods (gourmet pies & pizza, spring rolls, sandwiches, chicken bites) and unless I can manage to scam H2B outta a bit more money for the budget its a cash bar (is that what it's called when people pay for there own unsure.gif )

I've just re-read that and now it sounds like a lame arse wedding sad.gif

Your wedding sounds awesome! Just like what I want! The most important part of all this is the marriage, not the wedding so enjoy your wonderful day! I'm on the Gold Coast so I can't be a reporter for you but I just wanted to say that it all sounds absolutely wonderful biggrin.gif
