Hi everyone...

I know this is a lil embarrassing blush.gif but i need some advice as it has been sooo long since my last relationship.. and it was a painful one sad.gif

Normally I would just let things run its natural course but im in a lil bit of a different situation.

This new relationship is all based long distance... So technically I have only seen him 2 times. We talk everyday and email every hour for the last 2 months... but when I saw him the last time it was weird the first couple of moments... juz dont want it to be awkard.

To be honest Im VERY NERVOUS... and its daunting the idea of sleeping with someone new.

Would love to hear what people have to say about this subject!!

I think you have answered your own question there. Let it run its course, there is no set time within which you are "supposed" to sleep with someone. Do it when it feels right I guess. Forcing it when you're still feeling awkward around each other won't help the situation.

I agree. Do it when it feels right. For some it can be the first date for others it can be months.

Don't pressure yourself because you feel you need to have done it by a certain time smile.gif

I agree, you'll know when it is right. And if it doesnt feel right, then its not time yet.

I dont thnk there is a hard and fast rule, only the two of you \ can know what is best for your relationship.

I'm going to kind of agree with the other girls here. This is something that you can't rush and you can't really judge. You will know when it's the right time.

For me personally, I have a 3 date rule. If I really like a guy, I make sure I wait to sleep with him until after at least the 3rd date. If I'm still not sure though, I wait longer.

This is something you will know in yourself when the time comes. I know how daunting it all can be. But don't do it just because you think you have to or you think it's been long enough.

Good luck with it hun. And just breathe x
Someday everything will all make perfect sense... So for now laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason...

Yes to the above but also don't let yourself get pressured into anything either. If he's hinting heavily but you're not feeling comfortable, be sure to stand your ground. If he's worthy of you, he'll respect your position.

For me in the same situation, I would not be comfortable sleeping with him after only seeing him twice, even if we'd been communicating for months. I'd prefer to spend more time face-to-face, do lots of make-out etc and warm up to the main event. I have this thing about playing just a bit hard to get to make the anticipation grow. But this is just me, mind you you might be different.

Good luck with it! Getting together with someone for the first time is so exciting.

As most of the other girls have said, just go with the flow and do it when you feel comfortable / when it feels right.

Try not to put too much stress on yourself... I know it can be nerve racking the first time, but remember - SEX IS FUN!

Im with all the others here, it happens when the time is right you cant put a date or time limit on it.
Mum of three. Some I get to hold in my arms...all I get to hold in my heart.

If your parent dies, you are an orphan. If your spouse dies, you are a widow.
But if your baby dies... there is no word for that.
