Last night I had two very vivid dreams which really shook me up, and had me crying for hours.

In the first one my 3yr old nephew died. It is a bit fuzzy now but I think he fell and hit his head and died as a result, not really sure of much else.

I woke up with a start from this and realised I had been crying in my sleep, but mustn't have fully woken up as I drifted off again and had another dream in which my younger brother died. Sounds a bit silly but he is a roofer and I dreamt that when he was removing a roof from an old house he disturbed a bees nest and got stung to death (he was allergic in my dream but is not in real life).

I woke up crying again and started sobbing heavily and hubby cuddled me until I calmed down and realised that it was only a dream, which was a while.

I eventually went off to sleep again and went back into the dream about my nephew. I dreamt I was talking to my sister about her son, and how he had died, and that we were getting ready for the funeral, etc.

I think when I woke up from the dream about my brother I realised the dream about him wasn't real, but didn't realise that the one about my nephew wasn't real either, and just went straight back to it when I fell asleep again.

Both dreams were just SO real, I woke thinking that it had really happened.

When I woke for the final time from the last dream about my nephew I just cried for hours, they were such awful dreams and they hurt so much. I felt heartbroken and distraught, and pretty much inconsolable. I have never felt like that after a dream before.

I spoke to my little brother late last night before I went to bed and my nephew came over to play yesterday afternoon, so that is probably why I dreamt about them but no idea why I dreamt such awful things.

Has anyone had a similar type of dream? or felt a similar way after a dream?

Last night I dreamt that FH was killed in a work related accident, which turned into a murder investigation, which resulted in someone at his work being charged (It was a really episodic dream and so vivid) and at the end of the dream, I was sitting on our bed and I start thinking about what they must have seen when they found him dead and I started crying, I felt so alone...

Then I woke up. and I was almost in tears when I saw him. I told him about the dream, and on his way out the door (he was going to visit a friend) he said *It's ok, I'm alive* and I burst into tears....

I had a dream last night that my best friend's parents both died. It was so devastating to watch her go through it, she was completely lost, and she was so sad because she has a 4-month old baby and he would never know his grandparents. I was saying to someone else 'why do all our parents die?' meaning in my circle of friends - in real life, my husband's parents are both dead and my father died three years ago, so I guess I was thinking of that and thinking we must all be cursed or something.

I was happy when I woke up today and knew it wasn't real, but I was still quite sad and I wished I could go see my friend and give her a hug.

I hate those dreams!

I got a phone call at 4:50 this morning from my ex whom I have not seen or spoken to in 7 months because he had a dream I was dying in hospital and was all blurry. It freaked him out, and me too really.
