Anyone been to India? We want to spend 15-20 days there, don't want to go total backpacker, but can't afford total luxury either tongue.gif ...just something easy, with 3 star accommodation standard.

Anyone recommend anything?

I've been to India - my PIL are Indian and staying with me at the moment. I'll ask them if they have any recommendations.

Hi! I am new to I Do - so I hope this post works! I was in India for 5 weeks in 2007 (North and South), it was amazing, I really loved the south of India. Happy to share some pics and info if you want. There are some really excellent tour companies (I would recommend one in particular) that will take the stress out so you can enjoy your honeymoon, but you still get to enjoy the reality of travel in India, the cost is really reasonable and they take you to some of the best places...one of my favourite travel experiences was in the South of India, it is so beautiful. India does kind of blow your mind - but in a really good way tongue.gif

Welcome to i-do! I'm also going to India at the end of the year. I'd love to see your pics. Could you also give me more details about your experience on this thread. Thanks!

Sorry for the hijack.
