Oh Liz you have me in tears and it tears my heart out to know that you are going through this.

It was the hardest decision you have ever made in your life, but please do not blame yourself and know that you did what was best for Tully under those circumstances. She was such a wee little girl with a big personality. There was no guarantee that she would make a full recovery and although she was a fighter, I honestly don't think she would have made it through all the surgery. You did the kindest possible thing for her.

Remember all the funny things she used to do and celebrate how lucky you were to have her in your life. She was so lucky to have you as a Mum and you have been blessed by having her in your life and all the joy she brought.

Please please call me at any time today if you feel like you are just not coping. I'm here for you honey.

OMG! Liz I am so sorry! I can't believe it. It is a terrible thing to go through. I can't tell you how sorry I am because words just cannot describe it.

Please please please don't blame yourself. Accidents do happen and I know that Tully wouldn't want you to feel this way. She would want you to remember the good times that you guys had with her in her short life.

Goodbye Tully. Rest easy.

Oh Liz sad.gif My heart stopped when I saw the title of this thread.

I am so very very sorry that the gorgeous Tully has left you. She was a beautiful girl who I am sure knew how much her mum loved her, it takes immense love to make the decision that you had to.

oh liz im so sorry for your loss sad.gif

its so horrible having to put a pet down, they become so much more then just an animal, they become a member of the family, and for some of us that dont have childeren, they even become them for us. i cant imagine the pain your feeling, but i hope over time, you will come to terms with having to let her go, it was the right thing to do, sometimes its easier to let them go, then keep them living in pain, no matter how much we dont want them to go, sometimes its just their time sad.gif im sure she thanked you for letting her go rather then stay here in pain.

i hope your ok, your in my thoughts very much xoxox

Oh No Liz. sad.gif My heart absolutely sank when I read the title of this post.
I don't know you very well, but one thing I did know was how much you adored your beautiful little girl (shown so clearly in your lovely sig).

Please don't blame yourself, I think you made the right decision so your little one didn't suffer any longer. Yes her life was brief, but I'm sure it was filled with the huge amounts of love and affection and companionship that her wonderful mummy provided, and she is at peace now.

Thinking of you and Steve and sending massive hugs.

Please don't blame yourself...Sometimes the right decision is the hardest to make. Tully was blessed to have shared her short life with such a loving mum, I can't imagine how hard this is for you.

Take care.

I really have no words, that story is heartbreaking. I am so so sorry, she was such a beautiful little girl.

Don't blame yourself, you did what was best for Tully. She is in puppy heaven now watching over you, probably with every bone, treat and belly rubs she could wish for.
