Hey Girls!!

My FH and I are going to Brampton Island for our honeymoon. I've seen photos and it looks amazing, but does anyone know if it really is as amazing as the pics? smile.gif

We went for our honeymoon and loved it! There was a post a few months ago about the same thing if you do a search. Everyone really liked it from memory. Oh and the food was FANTASTIC!

We went for our honeymoon & it IS just as beautiful as the pictures!
We loved it & really didn't want to leave.
As Sepia said there have been a few of us that have gone, so just do a search for the other thread - I think it was about Whitsunday islands or similar.

we spent 1/2 our honeymoon on Brampton and LOVED it. The food was fantastic, the views were fantastic, and we just had a really good time.
Do a search on Brampton island - i posted some photos not long ago biggrin.gif

"It's risky" said experience.
"It's pointless" said reason.
"Give it a try" whispered the heart...

perhaps do a search? I know many ladies enjoyed brampton but I found two out of three experiences underwhelming. My last visit was in January this year. The service was average and food awful and expensive.

For the cost of a premium ocean view room + food and once cocktail a day you could go to Wilson Island which is a signature resort and much much better IMHO.

We went for our honeymoon there as I am a teacher and wanted a child free place.

What I loved was that it was beautiful but not pretentious as other islands are - we found Hayman to be not as nice when we stayed there.

The snorkelling in the fish bowl out the front of Brampton is great - the tide goes out and the water gets trapped in there between the sand bars - we were swimming with turtles for ages.

The food is sensational - the only complaint I had was that they don't do room service - so I just sent hubby over and he brought breakfast back.

Their picnic hampers are excellent value I would recommed them.

You will have an excellent stay - just be wary of the bar tab - ours was huge!!!

Been and loved it. Heard that they are revamping it at the moment, so should be a good thing. When I went, the meals were included as a part of the package, but that was 3 years ago.

Still awesome scenery and well worth it!

I am so in love with the Whitsundays smile.gif
