well, i'd love to book our honeymoon now (where you just leave your CC details but the room is booked and you pay when you get there) so id love to do that, but im scared we wont be able to afford it, because we dont know our budget (except to know that its not overly big), do you think its a good idea to just put on the wishing well card that since we have everything we need for our home that they contribute towards us enjoying our first big trip away? thats the only way i can really think of us being able to take one, unless we take a loan out and we will only need about 4000-5000 including hotel, flights, and spending money.. i feel selfish asking people for money though!!

any ideas?? i really want to put my mind at ease and book the place!

I think you should do it.

People ask for money in the place of presents all the time these days. And it's better to get money for something you really want rather than getting a whole lot of household things you don't want or need.
