ok so me and FH have decided on Sydney for our honeymoon, because i'd rather spend more on the accom then for flights o'seas coz money is tight, but im being picky and tourist-y and i want a hotel room with opera house and harbour bridge views, has anyone stayed at the 4 se@sons there? thats looking the best and we can get an upgrade to a good room, i just wanted to hear if anyone that's stayed has any stories good/bad to tell me smile.gif
thanks!

We stayed at the Four Seasons on our wedding night - perfect! Lovely room, view and service. The lovely doorman helped me out of the car and called me Mrs X and I said "who?" which was just hilarious!

We had a brunch planned so we didn't have breakfast but I have been their for functions and can say the food is lovely.

Enjoy being a tourist in Sydney - it's always fun!

I've never stayed there, but I'm sure it would be beautiful.

Another idea is to buy one of those Last Minute secret hotel deals. I know one of the hotels is the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay and it would be gorgeous.

We just got back a week ago from our honemoon which included 3 nights in Sydney.
WE stayed at the Chifley Potts point, which has just been re-furbished and could see the entire city bridge and opera house from our room which was under 200 a night on w0tIf, not the most indulgent room we had, but for sydney where we hardly spent time in our room it was perfect. I could see the bridge and opera house from bed!

We did a ghost tour of the rocks while we where there, i highly recomend it

well i loved the ghost tour, hubby had consumed a few beers at the opera bar before we went so had me in fits of giggles with his non-believer attitude. I wont spoil anything for you but it was very spooky, i had 2 experiances

Hubby wanted to do the jetboat too, but settled for a manly ferry, as we ran out of time

The Four Seasons is lovely, just watch that they give you a newly furnished room as some arent completly finished and are a little pokey
Other than that, what a stylish perfect location in Sydney
