We want to spend 5 days in Dubai either 26th Dec 08, or starting about 17 Jan 2009..we're flexible with dates. I know its the shpooing festival, but Im having trouble finding a reasonably prices hotel. We;ve been there before, and love it, but our usual hotel is booked out...

Can anyone recommend any hotels/websites that offer cheapish accommodation around that time??

Thanks girls tongue.gif

I can't remember where I stayed but it was near the airport. I was going to say make sure you don't go in August. That's when I was there and it was about 48C every day! I'm not kidding! We couldn't go out it was just too hot.

I'd just hit Wotif or similar websites and see what is available. I check out Trip Advisor too, it's the best to find a great place to stay.

Have fun!

**BUMP** This is something i need to fid out as well. Some are classed as three star but dont rceive great comments, confuing when three star here means a reasonable hotel.

We stayed at the Burj and the Park Hyatt on the Creek but if you are after something cheaper then you might consider the Kempinski Hotel at Mall of The Emirates:

Thanks Tea.Green. I had a look at your link, but unfortunately, I really can't afford to stay at either place (although I'd KILL to stay at the Burj for even one night! Ahhh....to dream....)

We are currently looking into staying at the Golden Sands hotel apartments, which will cost us around $550 for 4 nights, or the Rydges Plaza, which will be about $900. Has anyone stayed in either of these?
