Hows everyone coping? Any improvements?

Glad your seeing the positives woody, 5min is still 5min more smile.gif

We were away for the weekend so he only slept for 30min max in the car on both days! Bit of a shocker, thou he handled himself quiet well. And today I couldnt keep him up past 11am he was SO tired and slept for 1hr 45min smile.gif Pretty well behaved all afternoon until now laugh.gif He is in the bath (with daddy) and then off to bed

Not much improvement on our end. She is still having 40-45 min sleeps at 1pm. She's starting to get overtired by 7pm and having crappy night sleeps. Oh well we'll keep at it and see what happens.

Ems, that's fantastic that your little boy has picked this one day sleep thing up so well. I'm so jealous!! biggrin.gif

Well things seem a bit better here too. I have finally pushed Cate out to 12pm bedtime the last couple of days. We are getting pretty consistent 1.5 hour sleeps now but have the odd 45min or 2.5 hour one thrown in. I am hoping the 12pm bedtime will mean consistenly longer (2 - 2.5 hours) as I am now doing lunch before bed.

I could have told you that! Oh hang on, I did! tongue.gif laugh.gif

Hope you get the ceiling fan sorted out soon Ems.
In the meantime, if you have air con in yours and hubbies room, I would be popping him in there in a portacot and grobag.

Good luck.

Sara, that is awesome news on Cate. I hope the midday bedtime continues to do the trick.

I dont want to jinx it so I have my fingers crossed that this is the start of something good.......C has been asleep for 2hrs biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Im so happy, he needs it so bad!

Put him down at 11.45. Yesterday he went down at 12.30, is it possible that he is overtired by then? And hence then cannot sleep past 1.5hrs. He was in a foul overtired mood when he woke yesterday!

K im sneaking off now, please send us more sleepy vibes smile.gif

Sleep little Cooper.
ems I hope he powers on.

We go between 1.5hrs and 3 hrs.mostly around 2 to 2.5 though.

I found keeping him cool the trick.

The portable air con is when he pushed out to 2.5hr and 3.

woohoo for cool

Ems, great news that Cooper is sleeping well now. How long did he end up sleeping for??

Amy isn't doing better in fact i think she is getting worse. I can't bear her grumpyiness at the moment. She whinges nearly all day!! Her fang teeth are coming thru so i'm hoping it's just that but the last few days i've been pulling my hair out..

So what have I learnt in the past 2wks? That every day will be different. rolleyes.gif His naps now range from 1hr to 2hrs to todays effort of 2hrs 40min! And he only woke up because I woke him thinking something was wrong as he was still asleep laugh.gif And that he sleeps better with no shirt on or he wakes up really upset and hot.

How is everyone else going?

Sounds good Ems, well done to your little man. I would be thinking something was definitely wrong if Amy slept for more than an hour!! blush.gif

Well definitely no improvements here. sad.gif It's been just over a month on 1 sleep but it's not getting better. The most she has slept for is around 50mins. I'm over it all at the moment. She is the queen of tantrums and i'm really thinking of putting her back on 2 naps a day. She did have 2 naps yesterday and slept for about 40mins on both of them. I'm just trying to take each day as it comes now! I was hoping she'd be sorted before this new bubba comes along but me thinks not. smile.gif

Ems - glad to hear things are on the improve with you. Funny how picky they are. Cate prefers to b a bit warmer than cool.

Woody - sorry to hear things haven't improved at your end. Def stick with 2 naps if you think it will work better and try again in another month or so maybe.

We are going pretty well. She is still only having about an hour at daycare but at home we generally get 2 hours most days. Very rarely less than 1.5 hours anyway. It has taken about 1.5 months to get to this point though. We are going to stick with a 12pm bedtime for now as that seems to be working well.

Been a while since any of us have posted. How are the day sleeps going?

For us I have learnt that putting him down any later than 12.30pm will result in a MAX hour sleep! We are still getting random days from 1hr to 2.5hrs a day sleep. And going to bed on a full tummy is a must, hard when he has turned into a fuss pot with his food!
