We are planning on spending 10 days on Magnetic Island, and then getting our daughter sent up to spend another week with us.

No idea on how much it will cost though - although it could be as high as $600,000 because we are thinking of buying a house while we are up there laugh.gif

We haven't had ours yet as we are getting married on June 7th 2008 (not long now!!!) but i will tell you what we have booked etc...

We live in London but are getting marrie din Melbourne so we had to budget for flights between Melbourne and London also which added to the cost!

We are spending 3 nights in Paris in a gorgeous boutique hotel near Place de Vendome. We are travelling to Paris from London by the Eurostar train. Then we fly to Ajaccio in Corsica and spend 7 nights at the next little town at a gorgeous resort there with a private beach - can't wait!!!

All up the cost was just over GBP 6,000 which is about AUD 13,700.

This does not include spending money - i plan to spend up big in Paris and then wear it all in Corsica!!! laugh.gif

I really wanted to go to The Maldives but June isn't really the right season, so I made my fiance promise to take me for my bday or something in the next couple of years...
But Corsica is meant to be stunning and it is an island so it passed one of my criteria! And we have been to Paris many times before (one of the benefits of living in London) but I think it will be really special to be there on our honeymoon!

I will have to report back at the end of June and let you all know how it went! smile.gif

We are spending 6 nights in a premium ocean view room at Brampton Island. Including all meals, it is costing us about $4,500.

I'll be there this time in 2.5 weeks - yay!

We didn't want to do a big trip straight after the wedding - just wanted to go somewhere closeby and not have to worry about different currencies, long plane flights, foreign languages etc.

Next year we are doing Europe. Can't wait to eat my way through Italy!! biggrin.gif

$2500 and we went to Daydream Island. We could have spent less but we totally lived it up (cocktails, expensive dinners).

We spent just over $4000 and stayed in Tropical North QLD (Mostly Pt Douglas but also Cairns) for just over 3 weeks. This included spending money.

Was a perfect honeymoon of cocktails by the pool and dinners out...

All up we spent close to $6,500 including meals and spending money. We spent 16 magical days in Thailand last December and got home just in time for Christmas.

We're going back to Thailand in 8 1/2 week and we're looking at spending about $5,000 this time (because we're going in the dead season!) for another 16 days.
Sometimes in an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale...

we spent about 10K+ on: 3 days in vienna, then a 9 day cruise down the Danube (vienna - prague seeing all the christmas markets), an extra night in prague, then 2 days in Kuala Lumpur on our way home. It was sooooo amazing, and would LOVE to do it again biggrin.gif
