THEY FOUND HIM
I am crying my heart out in relief. They called to say a couple had seen him going back and forth across blackburn rd and doncaster rd and up around tunstall square. they tried to get him a couple of hours ago but he was extremely skittish. They finally got him with treats.
I can't believe it. I am so relieved. I am never letting him outside ever again.
He is so tired. he can't even keep his head up. And I swear he has lost weight, he feels like skin and bone.
Thank God! Tears welled up as soon as I saw your post. I am so glad he is ok, it's such a terribly busy area around there, the poor baby must have been scared out of his wits!
He will quite possibly be quite dehydrated as it's been so hot today, so just give him plenty of fluids, but small amounts frequently so he doesn't binge & make himself bring it up again.
I am soo happy for you all

I haven't eaten or slept in 24 hrs and now my husband wants some KFC.
Can you believe we were so desperate that we had gone to consult a psychic? We were just on our way back when the Doncaster Vet called us to say Bailey had arrived. I have never been to a psychic before in my life.
Ok, the little bugger's fast asleep now. I don't know whether to hug him to death, or scream at him. I guess I'm practicing for parenthood huh.
Everyone who lives near me, let's celebrate over some pancakes at the Doncaster pancake parlour - my shout. Better still, come to my house so we can all pat Bailey to death.

poor little bugger is probably exhausted and scared the weight off himself!!

Chloe - I am glad you found Bailey. He certainly looked pleased to be back in your arms!!! And thank you for the cup cakes, Damo is having one now! It was lovely to meet both you and Alex, and I apologise for my attire - I had just come home from work and changed into daggy clothes and then I came out
Amy - I think I drove past you too! Were you in a silver Lancer?
