I'd go to the closest local school nearest to where he was last seen & hand some flyers out to the Mums picking up their kids. Many families have a pet so they'd be endearing to your concerns to find him & Mums often have huge networks so someone may know someone whose seen him. I spose it couldn't hurt.

My heart is breaking just reading this. I wish there was something i could do.

You're right though Chloe, the minute someone takes him to the vets he will be identified. Let's hope that happens real soon.

My fingers and toes and Molly's paws are all crossed that find you Bailey xoxo

Still no sign of him sad.gif Just thinking too that when I was a teacher we literally had at least one dog a day attracted to the school - they believe they'll get attention from the children.

Places like this would be a good place to look (though I'm sure you'll have worn holes in the road anywhere near you by now sad.gif )

I can't imagine how you are feeling right now. I am not to far from Doncaster if there is anything I can do (hand out flyers etc.) please let me know.

In the meantime I will keep my eyes peeled.

My fingers are crossed for you.

Oh no, I was hoping he'd be home safe by now. The good thing is that you've had reports of him still in the area, so you know that he got through the night ok. I'm sure once people get home today & find your flyer, someone will get in contact, have everything crossed for you!

Was hoping there'd be news. I'm home to go to the loo rolleyes.gif and getting a cold drink - then will get back out there. Am focussing on the area around and south of Beverley Hills School, to Blackburn Rd on one side and Middleborough on the other.

Back. No sign sorry Chloe sad.gif I searched around the school from 3ish onwards in case he was with the kids, and just now searched the nearby streets and parks, but not a sign. No-one I asked had seen him either.

I hope he's safe and on his way back to you - please let us know - otherwise hubby and I will take our boys for their walk around that way tonight.

Thank you so much puggie.

No he is not back. Someone did call saying that they saw him in their backyard this morning and gave him a drink. At that stage he did not have my flyer yet else he would have called us then. He said that he hung around a bit, then Bailey followed him out tot he front yard and when a couple came walking past he took off. The guy trried to call him back but he went back onto Devon Dr and up towards Safeway.

Looks like the most sightings we've had of him were of this morning. Which is really hard to take in as we were driving around looking for him at that time.

Some people are saying thaat he is such a nice lookign dog, if someone found him they would probably keep him. sad.gif

If anyone happens to be around a post in this area, please email me and I can forward the flyer I've been printing out and using. I think putting flyers on as many posts as I can will help. I've seen many people reading them already. Perhaps if they had seen the flyers this morning someone would have stopped him or called sooner.

I need him back tonight. I can't do this anymore and I have a conference on for the rest of the week so I can't really go around and look for him. in fact i'm supposed to be working tomorrow night and saturday as well.

Oh Chloe I was hoping you'd have him back by now. Please don't loose hope. My last furbaby was a Sheltie and on one harrowing occasion he disappeared for a week and a half, and still came home. Seems he was locked in a garage by mistake. Maybe Bailey is stuck somewhere and when people get home from work they'll find him and let him out. I hope so!

Oh, my email address is chloec@bigpond.net.au

I can't attach a word document onto ido.

I've printed about 600 flyers already but i've just cracked open another ream of paper. After this and its back to office works for more paper. I've already been back for ink.

We've just been back to the pound and he hasn't been handed in there.

I don't relaly know what you girls can do and I can't bring myself to ask for help when I know there is really little we can all do. Puggie, perhaps you could come around to my house and pick up some flyers? Only if you're close by. That way if you do go back to the school or if you are passing some clean posts you could sticky tape some for me...

I'm going to leave a box with some of the flyers outside my house.

My address is 71A Beverley.

I can't tell you how much all your support and help means to me. I wasn't sure how my boss was going to take it I'm walking around looking for my lost pet. Some people really understand that they are our children, others don't get it at all. I've never seen Alex cry as when he realised he was calling Bailey in the same area that he was spotted this morning.

Bailey if you are in someone's backyard, please come back home. I've left the gate open for you and some water back there.
