We are loving the frozen curly fries at the moment, soooo yummy!
I tried out the exfoliating facial wash and my skin hated it, I do have quite sensitive skin though.
I use their soap and I've never had problems with it, they have some really nice fragrances.
I also really like the corn chips, they're about $1.60 a bag I think and they're really tasty!

i still can't get enough of their cheese rings.

Cyndi, have you tried their chunky thick cut chips ? love love love them

Nappies have gone back down in price, though we did notice that the training pants have changed and there are less in the packet now dry.gif

i got a step for the kids for $3 biggrin.gif

The pattern on the nappies have changed - has anyone notcied a change in thickness also?

Nina has never wet through and she did with the first nappy in the new pack and has a few times since. It could totally just be her and I did ring Aldi and they said the product itself has not changed but I can't help but think they just fit her differently.

I also bought the wipes - Nina has a very sensitive bum so I've been hesitant - anything to report ladies?

My pie maker is my favourite thing from Aldi right now.

Not sure if I have posted this before but their 3 packs of turkish bread rolls are the BEST. $1.79. The equivalent in Coles is about $4 and not as nice at all.

I noticed the other day when getting Taylor's night nappy out that they have changed the design. She hasn't wet through though, even though the nappy is almost full by morning.

My hubby buys his wraps from there......not sure of the exact name. Bonus when they are nearing use by they reduce them to $1 for a pack of about 6!

Ooh I'm loving my pie maker too!! Good buy huh?

I don't mind the wipes Monica, they're pretty good really. The nappies are okay, I do buy them occasionally, but they're quite a big fit for my skinny minnie girl.

I got some tinned pie fruit the other day - plain apple, apple & raspberry + apple & blackberry. I used the apple and raspberry in a crumble yesterday and it's delicious! It's a big tin, and cheaper than the small tin of the same thing at Coles etc. I think it was $1.99.

We also love their lemonade, and their pot-set yogurt. Oh, and the feta with garlic. And the sundried tomatoes, and the sundried tomato and basil pestoes. Yummo!

IU have been whinging about the nappies today. J has been leaking by morning where previously they were lasting 13 hours.

I rang Aldi who said they are taking it up with their German supplier?!?!?! I tweeted Aldi about it and they wanted my details but I told them I had already telephoned. They firsttold me that there had been no spec changes. I told them that I have 3 different crawler nappies in my hand and would they like to come and see for themselves.

And it was before we experienced the leaks that I noticed how much thinner the nappies are. As soon as i grabbed it out of the pack I could tell.

They seem to ahve done the change in two stages too. The first thinner lot of nappies we got were still in the old packaging and the nappy was almost identical apart from how thin it was. Then I only noticed the changes in sizing/weight on taylor's pack. Today when I took half a pack back to swap, they finally have the thinner nappies with the total new 'look' in the changed packaging.

I have only been there a couple of times, but I took FH there on the weekend for our first "big" shop at Aldi (e.g had to restock pretty well everything from meat to pasta & sugar).. was pretty impressed! Got a whole trolley's worth of stuff for $170.. normally at Coles, that would probably cost us over $200!
A couple of the items which I love so far:

- soft drink, really good for 99c!
- sundried tomato & basil pesto.. YUM YUM YUM!
- DipIts are really good (like Le Snacks)

Items I won't buy again:

- Vege (their potatoes in particular are awful! very floury)
- paper towel, doesnt absorb and very scratchy!

We just did our weekly shop from Aldi & it came to $64!! We still need to buy a few things from the big supermarket but all in all it won't go over $100. Gotta be happy with that!

I love their Brownie biscuits. We buy their sultana's too, and their banana's are huge & are still quite greet which is great as they will last longer.

My happy little boy!

I'll have to print out this thread and have a proper read.

I don't really buy alot of the food/household items from there, moreso the kids toys/activities, clothes or laundry accessories etc (love the 2 drawer laundry hamper I purchased a few months ago).

I did however buy the lasagne a few weeks ago and really wasn't very impressed.
