well i need help shoe wise, and now bridesmaid dress wise...

Shoes, i know what i want, i just cant find it, closed heel open toe, heels, cause bens very tall. with some form of detail, but i'd be happy if it was plain and i bought shoe clips, i'm thinking in a mushroom or caramel colour,

I was texting my bm today about the colour of her dress, i really dont care, she has picked olive green which i adore, anyone seen anything, i think it might have to be made.

Thanks tas, its hard though BM lives in Townsville!!!! but might be comming home for a few weeks (cannot wait) she is doing the same thing as me later in the year, so we are both a bride and bridesmaid.

I know what i want for her, and its very simple, strapless lacey soft, informal, so perhaps i'll just make it once uni is over, thats mid November should be plenty of time to "whip" something together.

I am going to have a look on the gold coast for my shoes, as i have 6 days up there next month, I'm sure i can find something then, I just dont like being un-organised.

I confirmed our venue booking today, and my photographer, who is the lovelist person, Here is a link to her site what do you think?

OMG andrea you are one organised lady, and it all looks so lovley, the pink theme is so beautiful, I have a seen a few bits and pieces of your wedding on other threads too and seeing it together, it sure does have a wow factor about it.

Tas i was thinking about doing a scrap book of pictures i like from bridal mags to give her some idea, i guess the hard part is i wont be seeing her till the day, but i thought that would be a good idea. I was attracted to her work because its more art than wedding pics, i'll definatly show you once its all over, she created a package just for us too!

If the current weather is anything to go by we could be in for a very nice summer. Last year Feb was so hot, crazy tassie weather blink.gif and andrea i think January was preety great too

I might just do that Tas, i had'nt even thought about email (duh) although i am really not that fussy, the ones on her site i adore, like the one with the cat walking through the ceremony, how cute, and the cross processed ones, We really want to be able to use our wedding photos as art in our house, not your traditional pictures she was very happy i said that, ohmy.gif

I feel like the least fussiest bride, my BM is stressing more than me, I am letting all my suppliers do their own thing, with a brief only from me, they know their job better than me. and dear old BM is worring about colours and clothes for her man and baby and flight times and car hire...heheh i might be like that at hers though

Hi girls

I can't believe the Myer building fire!! OMG!!

Hey can you please cast your minds back to January and tell me are the night still cool? I know it's not dark until 9ish so if you have a good day (without wind) I should be right, but I'm thinking maybe I need something around my shoulders while out on the water and later at night??? What do you think?

I know, i was nearly in tears to think of all those clothes, cosmetics and handbags that just died! Then at work today i realised "SHoes...." i was devistated!

Andrea it might be a good idea to have something just in case, you could go for a feather shawl similar to whats on this page, i think they are cute

I agree with you there tas, Hobart can have completely differnet temps and conditions than the rest of tassie, its been awhile since i spent some time in hobart in january, but it's usually not bad, but then i have usually had enough to drink to keep warm (oh god ...last time i was there my friend and i snuck into a private function at the casino!!! and ate their food tongue.gif )

Yep we got the humidity. Interestingly enough though, when I get a "Tassie tan" it lasts for ages. When I get a Queensland tan - I peel within a week. Give me a Tassie tan any day!!! tongue.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif
