Hi girls,

Here's our very own thread for the Apple Isle Brides.

I'll start ...

My name is Andrea. My fiance and I are getting married in January 26 at St Marys cathedral followed by a reception at Moorilla Winery Estate.

We live in Queensland but are both originally from Hobart so we are looking forward to coming back to get married.

Planning an interstate wedding has been an experience smile.gif

Hi

We got married at Franklin House (Launceston) on 3rd February 2007

Our photos were taken at City Park

If anyone has any questions about anything in Launceston I'd be glad to help!

We had the same problem only on a national scale - do we get married in Queensland or Tasmania??

In the end we settled on Tasmania for a number of reasons. But take it from someone who has 67 people travelling from Queensland to Hobart for our wedding, if your guests really want to attend your wedding they will go wherever you hold it. Go with your gut instinct and have the wedding where you want it, don't worry about everyone else smile.gif

That being said, we are hiring a double-decker bus to get the majority of our guests from St Marys to Moorilla.

Hey girls, I'm Helanie

Still waiting for the question but it's a case of when, not if... tongue.gif

I've been in Launceston for the last 13 odd years, but a couple of months ago we picked up sticks and moved to Burnie for Dan's work. Will most likely get married in Launceston since I lived there so long and Dan his whole life with most of his family in the vicinity.

Mrs N: I'm a slack bitch. We never did end up having that coffee.. Maybe next time I get to Launceston if you're not busy with work and the kids, etc

tas12: What did you study at Uni? Was it at the Launceston campus? who knows, we might know each other too, since I did the same course as Dan at the same time!

I didn't do the same course as Dan - but we did a random class that was between what we both did - Digital Imagery.
Him and his mate (can't remember his name - dark hair and glasses?) were quite hilarious - they had me in stitches alot!
I don't recognise your face from your sig sad.gif

Ahh yeah... I didn't do any of the art courses at all... I got stuck into Information Systems instead... we didn't start seeing each other until almost a year after we graduated! I think the friend you're talking about might be Nick or maybe Chris? I found all of his course work for Digital Imagery the other day while I was searching for textbooks!
