I have fine long hair that has just been styled into layers... the hairdresser used the wonderful GHD but its out of my price bracket right now... & i have a reaaaaaally old crappy strightener which I need to update...

Which straightener do you use/love & what product do you use? smile.gif

I have a GHD and BioIonics.

I much prefer the Bioionics - its much easier to use smile.gif They are both rather costly though...

i brought a remmington one before ghd came out. it looks just like a ghd though, and its pretty good. i dont use it all the time, so it does what i need. i think i paid around 130 for it.

although i am thinking of getting a ghd

I have a GHD but before that I borrowed my SIL's hair straightener which was a Vidal Sassoon and it did the job just as good I reckon. I was always very happy with the result.

id say save your pennies till you can get a GHD. nothing compares. Even the burn i gave myself on my poor thumb last night still makes me love my GHD.

I bought a GHD an (older model) for not much more than $100 and it works just like the current ones (been using my mums). I bought mine from a girl who used it maybe twice...and I"m wrapped with the discounted price!
