Hi girls
I have a question i have been bottle feeding for the last 2days and been finding that some bottles that i have bought to use the teats do not work has anyone come across this? and are you supposed to prick the end of the teat to make the hole?
thanks

What bottles and teats are you using?? Someone might have direct experience with them.
As for pricking the ends, I never have as the holes are different sizes to change the flow of the milk for the different ages of the babies.

the bottles are the tommee tippee nuborn bottles that come with the sterliser so there are 4bottles with teats that dont work no milk flow at all.

hmmm haven't got those ones so can't really help you.
ummm the only thing I have noticed with our teats is that the milk doesn't 'flow' out of the bottle if you just tip it upside down, you have to squeeze the end of the teat together to get any come out and then it isn't a flow more like a couple of drops.

if they're the ones i'm thinking of (have bright coloured teat bases and animals/pictures on the front, have thin teats) we had horrible times with them - they leaked constantly and in the end we turfed them and not the normal square tommee tippee bottles with the Pur teats - not a problem since.
sorry i couldn't be anymore help - have you tried loosening the seal a little? we usually find if slow/no milk flow then the teat is on too tightly

these bottles sam are different then what u describe they are a plain bottle with a green ring and there are no pics on the bottle just tommee tippee nuborn written on them they are a free gift with the electric sterliser i tried loosening the top but to be honest the teat looks like there is no hole whatsoever and i didnt want to make a goose of myself and contact them with a complaint if i was doing something wrong. I think i will contact the company because if these are faulty then they are useless to me and shouldnt be sold and offered in the pack.
thanks for all the responses
