I have just emailed Stonequarry Gardens in Picton for a wedding information package. Can anuyone give me any feedback on this venue?

i haven't been there myself but my FPIL's went about 18 months ago to a wedding there & they said it was great.

i went for a friends wedding.. i thought it was ok..
the meal portions were a bit small.. the fillet pepper steak that they chose was brought out rare..which is ok for some ppl but i like it more cooked
and she said that they were kind of pushed out of the reception at 930pm
other than that it was ok the place is pretty

We actually booked our wedding there but then cancelled - We only cancelled cause we wanted to downgrade the wedding a bit (e.g. fewer guests, cheaper reception).

The owners were lovely in the time that I had it booked, and the place is beautiful.

Only just went to a wedding there and it was lovely! It was a rainy day/night and they had a fireplace inside so it was all toasty warm and the view of the valley from the rotunda was lovely! Food and service was great!

I'm a little concerned as I emailed them for information last Monday and still have not heard anything. But I'll get down there one weekend when Steve is not working so we can have a proper look and speak to them.

I emailed them twice but never heard back from them, and ended up going with someone else.

If you really want info and you don't hear from them in a week, my advice would be to ring rather than wait
