I used to use Olay about 10 years ago and then stopped using it.

Whoops - posted that by mistake! Anyway, I used to use Olay and then stopped but now am wondering whether to go back to it but the Total Effects. Does anyone use it? Is it really as good as the advert says?

I am an avid fan, as well of two of my girlfriends.....its worth the $30 something dollars that they charge....

I use the one with SPF in it, and find that it has made my skin tone more even, soft, and gives it a bit of a glow.....even hubbie commented on it!

I use Total effects and have no dramas.
I use to use a Chanel moisturiser, ran out and just bought this from the supermarket to tide me over, notived no difference so kept using it smile.gif
Have been using it for a few years now!

i use it and generally i think my skin is looking more even and it does absorb very quickly but my skin look pretty shiny by the end of the day - i am not sure if this is the foundation i use (max factor) or a by-product of the spf in it i haven't tried the one without spf...

I use it. I really like the moisturiser, I'm not too keen on the cleanser though, it's bit oily or something. It feels like it hasn't rinsed off properly. I think I'm going to switch to the new range, the anti-aging stuff for acne prone skin, I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

I used to use the Tot@l effects with SPF, but it tended to react with my foundation and go cloggy, so I stopped.

I might try the new one for zits too though!

I only started using it when the blemish prone total effects came out a couple of months ago. I never used to have a cleansing/moisturising routine, and what really motivated me was the fact that it wasn't too expensive compared to other brands, you can buy it the supermarket and also Olay has done a really good job at clearing some age spots on my mum's skin...

It did take about 2 weeks to notice a difference in regards to blemishes though, but I have had good results.

I use this everyday and love it.

You can usually get it for about $20 when it goes on special, I but a few and that keeps me going until the next time the sales on.

I've used Olay Complete for years and this year tried Total Effects - it was terrible. Made my skin really dry and flaky. My friend uses it too and loves it so I guess it just depends on your skin.

I had the same shiney issue with max factor, without the olay base...

i like the feel of the olay, and intend to switch to that when current bottles are used up...

I really like it too but I don't like the SPF version very much. I have the normal Olay in my gym bag though for everyday mosturising and tend to try to use the total effects one only at night.

I was in Priceline the other day looking for another cleanser and I got talking to the chick there, and I said I was going to use the blemish one. She said it was wrong for me because I was too young (I am young, only 21, but I thought it was good for preventing wrinkles if I started using it now) and that the reason I was getting pimples was because the anti-aging stuff is too harsh for me and also had a lot of oil in it.

I don't know if it's true or not, but it made sense to me, so I've switched to Nutrogena now. I'll keep using the moisturiser with SPF in it, but I'll give the greasy cleanser to my mum, it's pretty much full so I don't want to throw it away!

So there's a bit of useless information for you, apparently Total Effects does not help prevent wrinkles, only fix them! huh.gif

I use the total effects serum, i love the way it soaks into my skin, without the oilyness smile.gif
