My photographer said 3-4 weeks so I have at least a week to go before I get mine. I'm so impatient that I'd love to have gotten mine a few days after the wedding, but if it means he'll do a better job editing them then so be it - I'll wait impatiently.

I just called my photographer today and he said it's normally about 4 weeks at this time of year cos they are busier. So that means i've still got another 2 weeks or so of waiting for them - bummer! hehe

Melbourne chickys, where are you guys putting your dresses in to get drycleaned??? And how much is it costing???

As for getting my dress cleaned I am thinking of going to where I got it from (my cousin runs it) as they work with a company to have dresses cleaned,not sure yet how much but I know it is $100 deposit then they send dress off to be assessed with the quote and if you are happy with the price they will clean and box it for you, if not you get your deposit back!! Hope that helps!!!

We have decided we will TTC in 2 yrs, it's very exciting though, because 2 yrs isn't that far away.

im so excited we are starting to put together plans for renovating our house. we are going to renovate the kitchen next year, im so excited about a new kitchen, then if we can afford it, we will do the bathroom possibly in 2008. ahh so much fun for us MARRIED WOMEN!

Wow.. TTC... not yet for us. It's so exciting hearing that some of you are trying and will be even more exciting once the pregnancies and babies start to happen. The thought of TTC at this stage is still very scary for me, and to be honest makes me feel like throwing up. Financially and emotionally we'd like to enjoy being a married couple for awhile before introducing another family member. I do want to have my first before I'm 30 though - I'm 26 now.

Wow can you believe tomorrow is the last day of November. We are all married!!!!!! Wow. Its been lovely seeing all of your pics and reading stories we will have to make sure we keep popping in hear for a catch up.

I have some of my pro pics in the newly wed section. Oh geez I think I will be up a fortune with all the extra pages I am going to have to get in the album! Brett is freaking out Im going to spend a fortune!

I had a look at them today Sar, your photographer did an excellent job. I can't wait to get my pro pics. Then I can get started on making our momento album. We didn't get a photography package with an album, so momento will be our official one. I had a look at a sample in Harvey Norman the other week and the quality is really good.

I have put my beautiful gown up for sale! I feel awful! I want to keep it so bad but it just doesn't make sense. For what I paid for mine there's no point my selling it. I'm so sentimental over my gown, much more than I thought I would be. I can't even bring myself to sell my blossom centrepieces either! How hopeless am I

I'm asking $1300 for it (it's rrp is $2350).

If it doesn't sell then it wasn't meant to be and i'll take it in to get boxed and keep it. I have put my centrepieces up for sale too (except i am keeping one for us as a keepsake). Might as well get a bit of the money back that we spent on some of the things that we don't need or have one of to keep.

Guess what i am getting my DVD of all my proofs TONIGHT!!!! YEAHHHHHH the email was worth it! The actual album won't be ready until after Christmas at this stage cause they are flat out but they did the proof DVD for me - Which is nice (no word on the video but I think that will be a while off)

Yay, pro pics are starting to filter in I think we're getting ours next week (not proofs, the real thing). Can't wait. We're going to bring over our invitations, program booklets, wedding bands and possibly the seating chart to the photographer as he didn't get close ups of these on the day.

Just thought I'd pop in and say Congrats to everyone!! We all made it!

Anyway, I haven't posted much in here (sorry!) cause I don't have the internet at home and don't have too much time at work, but from what I've read, you all have a great day! Sorry to hear about your flowers Maiko - its not what you want for your wedding day - but your photos did look great - it wasn't until you posted the close up in your letter that I noticed anything, so I wouldn't stress too much.

Anyway, I've gotten my photos back and am very happy with them (Our photographer only works part time, so doesn't have heaps of weddings to go through). We got a CD with all our photos on - we get to make our own reprints, etc. She's just doing our album for us, and then thats it (and I should get that back in the next few days). The links to our photos are in my sig.

We have a lovely honeymoon - but had to cut it short a few days! We went to the Blue Mountains and were saying near where the fires broke out, so upon advice from where we were staying, we left early - but appreciated the extra time at home before going back to work.

Now I'm just having fun with changing my name! I've already run into snags with reconciling accounts from last month when I'm now using my married name, and the accounts are in my maiden name! Not fun! Has anyone come across a check list of places to remember to change your name? I know there's a checklist out there for when you move house, so I guess that would be most of the important places, but what about the little things you don't think of - like I found we need to change our Medicare before we change our Health Insurance!

Harmonie - How are your pro photos??? We got ours back on thursday night and I love them!! We got all of them in 5"x 7" in albums (have 300 photos!!) We then got all the negatives ( not digital) and all the photos on disc so we can go and reprint and enlarge ourselves!! My friends from work gave us a really nice wooden wedding album so want to put our favourite ones in that, however it is hard to decide!!! Will post some once i get a chance, i promise!!!

Sar- We went to Vegas in 2004 and stayed at the Excalibur Hotel which we really liked so we are going to stay there again when we go next year!! MGM looks fantastic as we went there a few time to play the pokies!! You will love it, and the shopping is great ( thats what im going back for!!)

It cost so much to put extra pages in and then more for a collage of the reception. And she justs "makes the best album she can for us and doesnt look at how many pages she makes up", then we have to cull pages if we dont want to pay for them! aaarrgghhh! How will I do this? You just dont budget these extra costs when you plan your photography budget! Anyway it is worth is I LOVE MY PICS!

I LOVE THEM!!!!!

I just made it to Lygon at 6pm and was so stressing cause they were doing weddings all weekend and wouldn't be in the office! I raced home to Paul and we sat on the couch together and watched!

Wow i love them.... There were 400 on the disc now we have to choose about 70 to place in our album! The proof album won't be ready for another few weeks~ I love how they captured the day but didn't get in our way at all! They took a lot of the bridal party (something that I requested!) and some gorgeous ones of Paul and myself! I have watched it I do not know how many times and still love it! Wonder what I will be like when I get the video!!!!

I will try and see if I can downlod some today to post!

PS I love everyone pictures!!! Kylie when are you getting yours??? Wow Cheeky keeping enjoying yourself but can't wait to hear when the catch up is when you get back! I think it will be an all dayer!

Sorry just a fleeting visit...about to leave to go with my friend for her dress fitting. Shes getting married in 2 weeks. Its been good because I have been helping her alot with her wedding preperations..its kept me occupied and not getting sad that our day is over.

xBuffyx- Thats great that you get your photos back today, it is so exciting!!! By the way I got married 4 weeks ago as well and I havent yet got my dress cleaned, will be doing it soon though!!

hello twinnies!!!!!

we got back from our honeymoon yesterday and and havent had a chance to come into i-do until now and reading back thru the thread it sounds like everyone's wedding went off smoothly and all had a lovely time....the photo's that ppl have posted look amazing im glad it all went well for everyone....

our wedding day was absolutely wonderful what else can i say it was the best day ever and it went so fast but looking forward to getting our pics and video - gonna get hubby onto that tomorrow ( how weird does it sound saying hubby) but feels pretty good

hey buffy, not it's not weird that you haven't got it cleaned, my has really bad black spots from where my husband stepped on it on the wedding day.
it is still hanging near my front door, it looks beautiful & i don't have the heart to get it boxed & cleanned yet, maybe soon.

i getting that box that you can still see the dress & it's preserved, it's $400, but my tax check was for that amount, so that will go to that.

My dress is at the drycleaners at the moment. It's costing $160 + $20 to be boxed with acid free paper etc. My reception dress is slightly less.

Juless you look stunning - Have you written in the newlyweds bit - I shall go there soon to hopefully read all about it!

In regards to frycleaning my dress - Mine is really bad! I think it was dirty before we even left for the church but I didn't care! Now is hanging in the spare room... A family friends owns a dry-cleaning but he said because everything is sewn on he will have to do it by hand? But he is offering his services for free - lucky me - But I love it hanging in the window and I see it everytime I walk downstairs!

Okay I have tried to copy off the dvd to no luck! I can't open it picture by picture - So I thinkyou will all have to wait until the next catch up!!!

Hi girls think I am going to give up posting my pro photos on here, none of them will show up, even my photos I have taken wont seem to work!! Does anyone know how I can get them to start working again?? They load onto photobucket fine, but when I copy and paste the link to the I-do sight it ends up turning out like my siginature picture??? Anyone able to help??

Hey princess-lissy - firstly WOW! Great shots! When I post pics I copy the enitre Img line then paste onto reply and it should just show up as a picture on link??? Jope it helps???
