Just wondered how you are walking or walked up the aisle? In England you just walk normally, but obviously a lot slower but here you do that step, feet together, step thing. I will just be doing a slow walk with my dad, we've already practised it once and I feel much more comfortable with this. I'll be so confused otherwise!!

I just did a slow walk with my dad as well (although he had to tell me to slow down!) the walk step together thing seemed a little out of date to us

Do whatever makes you feel more comfortable I say

. We did the step-together-step thing (except my MOH was so nervous she forgot and just walked slow

). No-one except DH even noticed!

Our aim was just to walk slowly but Dad was almost running

(well not quite but I did have to keep pulling on his arm to slow him down).
Don't know where the step, feet together thing originated but I don't think it's all that widely used these days...

My dad refused to walk step together thing as he said it reminded him of the service (airforce) funeral march. that realy slow one. anyway we walked slow.

We just walked down the aisle slowly.
It was actually more of a stop-start thing as my dad kept tripping over my dress!
Nobody noticed though which was good

I am walking up the aisle with my mum and my dad and doing just the slow walk. I want to take it all in and not worry about timing and which foot to step first etc. etc.

I planned on just walking slowly but ended up racing down the aisle. Luckily dad worked as a kind of anchor which slowed me down a little. People joked about how fast my BM's and I were to get down the long aisle.

I had not really considered it until you asked the question!
But as I am having a garden wedding and the aisle is quite a lot longer than most I think I will just be walking slowly down the aisle.(If I am not too nervous and dont try to run just to get it over with

!)
