Thanks for the compilents on the photos.

Claire- how is brad feeling, any news yet?? and how are you holding up??

Well sorry for this girls i know that you're all in married bliss, but i think i have a case of "is that it???"

Some of this may have a bit TMI, but i really have to get it off my chest.
We have been home for 2 weeks and we've hardly had any physical contact. i feel like he doesnt "want" me anymore iykwim.

We had a fight on Sunday, he wanted to go to golf and my parents were coming over to watch wedding video (they hardly ever come to our house) so i asked him not to go, but he still said he was so i cracked it and told him that i always put my things off for his family. In the end he didnt play golf but we also didnt speak much for the rest of the day.

He has been working so hard and i know that he's tired, but hey i work too and i still manage to make an effort. It seems like he just doesnt want to make and effort. Like last night i instigated that i wanted to make love, and he just rolls over and goes "do you want sex?" i felt rejected by the way he said it, he is always rejecting me, if i say no i always give in.

I know i should be talking about this with him but a/ i'm at work and cant concentrate and b/ he then feels like i'm attacking him, and goes quiet then i start yelling and saying nasty things and he doesnt say anything, he says he doesnt get into fights with me because he's afrad that i'll walk out, and i tell him i'd never do that.

Then theres the money problems, we have access to each others accounts, and i asked him this morningif i could get $30 out of his account for electricity, and he said ok but theni'm not going out on saturday night cause i have no money. He pays for the house loan and i pay for everything else, phone, electricity, food, petrol, everything. Its not my fault his parents dont pay him enough.

I just dont know what to do, i never thought that our first weeks of being married would be like this, i thought that we'd be still on a high.

thanks i just needed to get it out of my head.
patricia
me again, i went to a friends place on tuesday and she was showing me the photos she took and she showed me in this program that is called picasa where her fiance is playing around with them and of course there is a free download here its through google and its pretty awsome, its simpler than photoshop but you can't stich photos like in photostudio (another program i have which is linked to my scanner) here are a few things you can do.

Your photos are very beautiful Sjm, i also love the oneon the truck, so natural and different.
Sorry to hear about your guests, but you were the bigger person through the night. I agree about keeping the cards, we are doing the same so it is disapointing when someone doesnt make the extra effort. I know i would never turn up to someone's wedding without a card!

Patricia- thanks for your advice, chloe cant say no yet. Corie must be that bit older. It is frustrating that they cant express how they are feeling and what they want though. But thanks for your take on the issue.

An update on brad- he went back to the doc yesterday and got the reference he needed, the doc also gave him 5 doctors to call so he can try and see which one he can get into quicker. Hopefully he wont have to wait too long.

patricia
sara first of all ((((hugs)))) I know what you mean and how you feel, chris is a nightshift worker and during the week we hardly see each other and both of us always sleep alone and if we want to do anything it feels like a quickie before work but its been like that since he started night shift about 2 years agos and we are hoping this year once the credit card is paid off he can go to day shift which is less money but we have workd a budget and have opened a award saver account.

I think you should maybe right a letter to mark saying how you feel and explaining that you aren't attacking him in any way and that way theres no wires crossed in the conversation. And tell him not to downgrade sex with you, maybe he is feeling abit down and he could be feeling the same way you are that maybe you don't want him.

Darls apart from that i don't know what else to say, but we're here for you if you need to bounce things off. (((hugs)))
Mumma3
kylie- thats great that you got your photos, hope there are some great ones there for you, cant wait to see them.
Also i hope you start to feel better soon, try and get some rest!

Patricia- thanks for the link, i will have a look at it soon, still cant work out photoshop so this should be fun! I love that photo of the three of you, its beautiful.

Sjm- i know what you mean about "is this it" we have so much expectation of the newlyweds who never argue and cant keep their hands off eachother but in reality we still have to work, talk about bills and get sick.
Sorry to hear about the argument, Brad and i had an argument on our wedding day! There is nothing worse than when you hit a lag in the sexual activity, i know that we have had our fair share, especially with the bub and one person is sick then when they get better the other one is in pain!
I hope things pick up soon, i hope that you both can discuss it and see why it seems like he is rejecting you of Late.
I wish i could help more, but if you do ever need to chat just pm me ok?

Thanks girls, like i said i just have to get things off my chest.

Sexual activity was at an all time low just before the wedding so i was putting that down to stress, but now i have nothing to blame it on.

Thanks patricia i may write him a letter and tell him, its hard enough that marks hardly ever home, but i had said to him that i would like him to be home more often after the wedding, as we wanted to spend some extra time together before we ttc (start date was suppose to be in August) but i dont want to even think about that at the moment.

Claire i just wish that we were still on the honeymoon, we were together all the time, no arguements, didnt have to worry about bills or money. (and also sexual activity was high)

Thanks again girls i'm starting to feel abit better.

patricia
i also found with picasa that you can order prints over the internet through kodak, the normal size prints 6x4 are about 49c which i found expensive (the chemist near me is 19c per prints minimun 50 prints but thats still only about $9.50) anyway i got off subject with the 20cmx25cm enlargements its only $5.00 where my photographer was charging $40 for 20x30 enlargements.
I just went and got my 19c photos (the pics taken by friends cameras) today and they look great i've already started putting them in our couples album. anyway talking crap now, i hope the day brightens up for everyone
arghhh i just looked down at my finger and one of my diamonds from my wedding ring has come out and i don't know when it fell out
sjm
Oh no patricia i hope you can find your diamond.

My photographer gave us all of the negatives so we can choose where and when we get our copies & enlargements done.
Mumma3
I hope you find your diamond patricia! I have to get my engagement ring resized, it is so loose from the weight i lost.
Do you know what you are doing for mothers day yet patricia?

I love this program, i can work out how to do b&w photos! Thats all i have tried so far!

kylieandpeter
SJ - (((((HUGS))))) I am so sorry to hear that. Maybe can you buy a nice "husband" or "love" cards - you know the ones that have why i love you in the wording and pop the letter as Patricia suggested, expressing exactly how you feel in it.
Other than that i really don't know what to say, besides i hope you guys sort it out soon and remember we are here for you to vent, please do. Afterall it is better out than in right???

Patrica - OH NO about ur diamond, can u take the ring back to the jewler and get them to fix it for free (it should still be under warrenty from the shop)
Thanks for link to the prgram, am uplaoding now (i hope it is easier than photoshop as it was confussing me). Love the photo of the 3 of you.
My wonderful photographer gave us all our photos on CD and handed copyright over to us (i wanted that) and advised us to go elsewhare for reprints as it will be cheaper than what she charges!

Claire - did Brad manage to get an appoinment soon with a specialist. How are u both holding up??

So Pete and i now have a joint account - YAY how exciitng!! (think i am also ecited by the fact that i can now sign checks - first time i have my own (well our joint)check book - normally used my mummy bears or petes)
But that makes all our finances easier!

Am feeling a bit better today and feel like i have more energy which i am pleased about
patricia
just a quick post off to my parents to see unedited dvd of wedding.
with my ring it was also cracked in the setting. so im getting a brand new ring for free again biggrin.gif . So for the next 1-2 weeks i have no engagement ring or wedder cos eng. is getting resized to match wedder so they sit together better.

Claire i hope brad is feeling better for mothers day we are going to a restaurant for dinner last year we decided that for mothers day, fathers day and valentines day we will go to this place every year and start a little tradition. Its also chris' birthday on the 15th so we are celebrating that aswell What are you doing mothers day?
Mumma3
Patricia- Im glad you are getting a whole new ring for free. Thats great news.
As for mothers day brad is taking me and chloe out to dinner. We usually go out with his parents and brothers and sisters and their partners as there are 3 sets of parents now. But MIL and FIL are in nz and dont get back till the day after mothers day.

Thats exciting about your joint account Kylie! We are opening ours tomorrow, we will keep our accounts but use the joint one to put our savings for our house in it.
Brad hasnt spoken to a specialist yet he just told me he was too busy on thu and fri to call so will call tomorrow. He better!!! I'm glad you are feeling better and also that you got full copyright for your photos, your photogropher sounds excellent!

Sjm how are things going this week?

kylieandpeter
HAPPY ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY MY TWEENIES biggrin.gif

It amazing how quickly thr time flies, it seems like only yesterday i was standing beside my best friend and one true love, saying our vows to each other!

So girls, got anything nice planed for tonight??
kylieandpeter
Patricia - Glad to hear you get a new ring for free. I hope the next 2 weeks gfoes fast for you to get your rings back smile.gif That restuarnt tradition sounds wonderful.
How was the unedited wedding DVD

Claire - Glad to hear Brad is feeling a bit better! Let us know when the appointment is. Good luck opening the joint accounts. I have kept my savings accounts (they are direct savers) but pete is going to close his acocunts next week (that bank charges us WAY to much in fees).

Tonight i have a bottle of champers ready and am going to lay out a picnic blanket in the back yard (depends what time Pete gets home, if to late will be on the lounge floor). Am making some nibbles (not sure what yet). Then while having the champangers and nibbles we are gunna read all the messages the guests wrote for us to put in our guest book (thought it would be nice to save them to now).

SJ - how are things??

Hope you all have a wonderful night tonight smile.gif
patricia
The dvd was how could you put it both a thumbs up and a thumbs down. Like im happy with the amount he filmed because afterall he was still our guest and we aren't paying him but we thought being someone in the movie industry he wouldn't do things like stop and play when flower and page kids and my girls walked down the aisle and that he would have just continued to film he also stoped and started when i got to chris so i don't get to see me kissing him on the cheek when i got to him and i also don't get the opportunity to see him when he started to cry moments before i walked down the aisle. And when we entered the reception he was filming from his chair so you get the view of the table in front and the bridal party behind them and with the speeches he also filmed from his chair and you can harldy make out who is speaking cos its really dark and the voices are abit soft. he has this program he said he can make lighter and stuff so i will make my call when he edits it and merges the 'scenes' together properly if anything at the end i still don't like it, i wont tell him because i am gratfull he did it for us and just take it simewhere professionally and get it done there. What also pissed me off the the lack of class from some of the guests, one stuck his finger up cos he got sick of being filmed at the reception, argh anyway the positive out of it is that once i can put it into our computer and work i can get even more photos out of it.

Sara how are you going? i hope things are looking up.

Kylie we wont be doing anything tonight i work till 7.10 but chris is cooking dinner tonight and we went out for turkish food last night cos i couldn't be bothered cooking and washing dishes so i'll make that as our celebratory feast for our 1 month. Even though i said happy 1 month on saturday when you think about it it's only 11 more months and its our 1 year girls. Woohoo laugh.gif
patricia
i just found out that the 19c phtos can be done over the internet here what i have found is that its the cheapest way to get normal sized photos, their normally 39c for photos done from a cd anyway i thought i might just post it up incase anyone is needing photos printed in the normal 4x6 size.
sjm
Happy 1 month Anniversary to everyone.

Thanks for all your concern girls, i actually spoke to mark on thursday night (he was away so it was over the phone) i had had a few to drink so i just let it all out, i told him i was nt attacking him i just wasnt happy the way things were going, he said he hadnt realised that i wasnt happy and that he was sorry. We talked about everything, and things are now going pretty good.

Patricia i'm glad that your ring is being fixed

Claire make sure that Brad does ring the specialist, i always say that bribbery or threatening is the best option, (Mark hates going to the doctor, so this always works for me)

I dont know yet if mark is home so i havent really figured out what we're going to do tonight, but i am making spag bol for tea. We're startiing a biggest loser compa gain at work, we did it last year aswell and i lost 7kg, am only looking at losing a couple of kilos this time but i'm going to concentrate on toning up a bit. so i have told mark not to buy me anyjunk food.
kylieandpeter
Patricia - Shame to hear about the video. I hope you are happy with the edited version. I suppose it is hard to capture everthing. Although u think he would have got up from his seat to do the filming. That is rude of the guest doing the finger, he could have kindly asked for the video not to be on him.
I hope dinner lastnight was lovely smile.gif

Uh girls B1g W has a special with the instore photos atm. When i order 125 digital prints, you only pay for 100. Now they are only 20c nomrally, so this brings the cost down to 16c each!! Also there elargments, the next size up is 48c and the next one 84c. I ordered 250 photos (honeymoon, my mummy bears graduation and some wedding) and 2 enlegments. the 250 photos i got in matt and they are wonderful. The enlargments i ordered in gloss and they look yucky but it was only a $1 all up for the enlargments so i dont care IYKWIM
patricia
will go check out B1g w, do you know how long the special is running for?
kylieandpeter
SJ - I am so glad to hear you talked to Mark and you guys have sorted it all out!!!
Good luck with the biggest loser comp at your work - let us all know how you are going
kylieandpeter
Patricia not sure, it was in there current catolouge (sp?).
When i was in there, i got the impression it was a normal thing
Mumma3
Thanks for the info about the printing specials, we print all our photos at home which is much easier and looks fantastic.

Patricia- we had a guest film as well and some guests were making stupid jokes and just doing obscene things on camera, wasn't very nice.
But you get what you pay for i guess.

brad is making bookings now and just booked in my ultrasound for thursday so that means all my results should be back next week.

And we just recieved our outdoor setting finally!!! After much trouble we ended up getting our money back from the first place and paid for another one yesterday at a completly different place and they delivered it 20 minutes ago, thats the service i expected the first time around!! But it looks great.

Tonight i might follow your lead Kylie and have some champagne (brad doesnt really drink it but my dad bought us a nice bottle for the wedding and we will try it tonight). And some nibblies, just need to work out what nibblies to have now!!

Sjm im glad you spoke to hubby and everything is sorted now, thats great news. And good luck with your biggest loser challenge.

Oh yeah and Chloe went to the beach for the first time yesterday and went swimmig with her daddy (she was fully clothed, haha) i'll post some pics.

she is so beautiful claire, corey's been to the beach a few times but only walked along the water, this summer we are wanting to go away for christmas so she'll be thrown in to the sharks then ph34r.gif only joking

does any body know of any good towns, cities that are relatively cheap to get there? I am determined to get 1 christmas off where i can actually relax and enjoy my new family - i've been saying this for 2 christmas now and always backed out because of my mums pleas and guilt trips but i've told mum to suck it up and that there is 100's more where we will be together please let me have one where its just me chris and corey and maybe the dogs too
kylieandpeter
Claire - Good luck with your ultrasound on Thursday. When is Brad's appointment??
YAY about your outdoor setting, so got a bbq planned to christen it??
Pete dosn't like champers much either so i ended up driniking most of the bottle lastnight ph34r.gif
Chloe is so cute, the photos turned out great, looks like she had a great time!!

Patricia - How far are you wanting to Travel, what area do u have in mind. The other day i recived a "go stay accommodation guide 2006/07" which covers all of australia. Is a great book. Let me know what areas you are thinking of and the type of accomadition you are after and i will have a look through for you.

Lastnight went well, the messages were great. We laid in bed reading them after dinner. It was great to hear everyones wishes to us smile.gif

Hey ladies!

How are my beatiful twinnie brides>?

I just wanted to say how happy I was to hear you all had a wonderful wedding day. I truly had the best day of my life.

And I have looked at all your photos they are stunning, I have replied in the newlywed section.

I picked up my professional photos on thursday and was really happy with them and will post some soon.

Patricia I am also worried about my video for exactly the same reasons, although I have not seen it yet, I dont think I saw the video guy get off his butt more than twice the whole night! Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised when I see it,....fingers crossed!

I cant believe it was our 1 month anniversary yesterday, I bought hubby a scarf as a little gift, cause he needed one.

How was your honeymoons girls? I would love to hear about them?

I went to thailand and it was amazing, best time ever!

I feel like this week reality is setting back in. I was at work last week but I was still floating on my cloud but now it really does feel like old life again.....boo hoo
sjm
Welcome back Kylieann.

Glad to hear that you had an awesome honeymoon and cant wait to see your pro pics

SJ
Mumma3
Hi ladies.
Bead went to the doctor yesterday and he has to go into surgery on friday. He isnt having a colonoscopy afterall just some surgery. He might have to stay overnight and could be out of whack for up to 2 weeks. So he will be working in the office as he cant do any lifting.
I think we might plan the bbq for next weekend, that way the parents will be back also.

Kylieann- im glad you had a fantastic honeymoon. And cant wait to see your professional pics.

Kylie- im glad the messages were great to read and beautiful. We read ours on the wedding night in our room.

Patricia- let us know how far you want to travel and ill have a look for you as well.
How old is corie now? Usually i wouldnt put chloe in the beach as i dont like it but since she loved it so much she can go with her dad all the time now!

patricia
All the best for brad this friday, and also for your ultrasound on thursday.

Corey is now 22 months (well on saturday) i was afraid of the ocean/beach since we went to the melbourne aquarium and i saw the deadly jellyfish and the thing was chris and i used to go to the beach all the time so on the honeymoon i decided it was time to get back in the water after 3 years of just walking along the water. I just didn't want to miss out anymore and i didn't want to miss out on snorkelling, im still funny about the water but chris promised that if i ever get stung and their isn't any vinegar he will wee on me to save me laugh.gif
I hate not being in control and cos i can't see whats in the water i freak out now. Chris keeps saying how funny it is for a swimming teacher to be afraid of the water tongue.gif
moore
Oh my, I've missed so much. Just going to say a quick hi to everyone, then I'm going back to read all these pages and catch up with what's going on. I hope everyone is healthy and happy. It's great to be back on here. I'll write again after I read the marathon of posts! Wish me luck... tongue.gif
moore
Claire - it sounds as though things aren't as drastic with Brad as first thought, so that is positive. I hope his surgery goes well, we will be thinking of him on Friday. And have fun christening that outdoor setting!

SJ - I'm so glad things are working out for you now. It's nice to be understood by your partner, and now that he knows how you feel you can both work together to make it perfect. And as for the honeymoon high, it feels so good because it is not reality! Being on honeymoon gives you no worries, no normal day stresses, so it's easy to feel on top of the world and relaxed. But every couple has to return from the honeymoon and continue normal living, and it's probably better to get through all the dramas nice and early, so you can build a strong marriage from the get go.

Trish - another new ring? You lucky girl, you've had more new rings than anyone I know! I'm glad it worked out for you, and you are GREAT at those photos, well done!

Kylie - Isn't it fantastic reading the guests messages? It is totally herat warming to know that you friends and family can come up with such beautiful words of praise for you as a couple.

Can I just say, all you girls and you fancy new husbands looked so glamourous on your wedding day! I reckon we must be the best looking bunch of twinnies on here!! Seriously, your dresses were gorgeous, the photos are amazing and your stories are just beautiful. Well done to everyone for planning such a beautiful day, it really paid off for us all. Even though there were troubles and dramas and tears, we all ended up with big cheesy grins on our face, and pure happiness in marrying the man of our dreams. Congratulations ladies!

Our honeymoon was amazing, but it's nice to be home to catch up with friends and talk about how great the wedding was. We have had nothing but rave reviews from everyone who attended, which is so satisfying I must say.

For our 1 month anniversary we went to our local chinese restaurant. We know them on a first name basis in there and they were so happy for us, it was really sweet.

Has anyone changed their name legally yet? I am just about to start the process - drivers licence, medicare cards, memberships etc. Do I just need the marriage certificate?

patricia
hi lisa, been wondering where you have been,

i have a very quick post then im off to work. I just wanted to say that i am alittle nervousi just sent my wedding story in point form with pics to our local newspapers Bridal magazine websitehere. This years edition has already gone to the printers so it will (hopefully) be in next years edition. i don't know when i will hear from them because one of the girls is on maternity leave and the other is away on one weeks holidays, it was emailed so they have it just don't know who or when it will be read.
Wish me luck girls biggrin.gif
patricia
lisa i haven't changed my name yet but i have the form filled out and the photocopies signed by a member of police for my id's, i just haven't done the money order and sent it off yet, i will try to do it this friday.

And thank you for your lovely post, you looked hot to and so did your hubby, you look so happy and radiant, we all did
sjm
Hey Lisa

Nice to see you back in the land of the living.

I have changed my bank details, medicare, and telstra.

I am trying to get motivated to send the form off to BDM so i can do my drivers licence.

I used the MC from the day for everything i only need BDM for the RTA.

They changed my email and login at work today, how cool is that and i got my "1st" peice of mail as Mrs S Sheridan yesterday i nearly did cartwheels across the st
Mumma3
Glad to see you back and posting again lisa. No brad was actually worse than we expected but im glad he is finally getting fixed of friday. How is your hubby's thumb going?
Im glad you had a fantastic time and honeymoon, your photos are beautiful your happiness shows alot through them. Thats nice that you went out to dinner on your one month anniversary.

It is harder to change our names over here in qld, im still waiting on one form from the celebrant to send off to bdm with money to get the other form back to take to the department of transport. But im changing my name at the bank tomorrow as the accept the certificate from the day. Otherwise havent had a chance to change anywhere else as by the time hubby finishes work everything is closed and we only have one car.

Patricia that is exciting about putting your story and photos in the magazine, hope all goes well! Corie is growing up quick, im sure that 22 months went quick i know our 15 went fast. Any more planned??

patricia
its gone too quick i only just remember her having her first birthday and not quite walking yet all of a sudden she's walking talking (not proper sentences) and her little personility is shinning through so much now. it just keeps getting better though you have so many more smiles and laughs to come with chloe.

at the moment its a big no for me, i still feel that i have alot to see corey do and i don't particulary think we are ready for another one yet i just started losing weight and have a new job im loving and as Dr Phil says there are alot of questions that have to be answered and asked before having anymore and at the moment its pointing to no more kids. I love Corey to bits but personally i think it will be too hard for us right now. There would be alot of changes in our life and we have our wedding bill to still pay for so till that is paid off chris and i decided not to have the more kids talk.

Lets us know how you get on tomorrow and also on friday with Brad, thinking off you guys ((hugs))
kylieandpeter
Kylieann - welsome back babes. CAn't wait to see your photos

Claire- how did the ultrasound go today?
Will be thinking of Brad tomorrow - wish him luck for us. Let us know how it goes.
DO you mind if we ask what the sugery is??

Lisa - welcome back babes smile.gif I am in the process of changing my name over now.

Patricia - Good luck for the bridal mag. GOt my fingers croosed for you.

I have changed my name on telstra, medicare, electrol roll, racq (insurance and road side assistance), both banks.
When i get my new medicare card and telstra bill along with my bank card (got the other day - looks so sureal with my new name on it), i can use this to change my licence and dont have to wait for the offical one form BDM!!

Pete has to go to the hospital on Monday for his follow up appointment from his colonascopy and gastroscopy so hopefully everything is ok.
patricia
Kylie - how did you change your medicare card? don't you need the BDM cert?

im going to have to get a riggle on and start changing other stuff i haven't even thought off, all the bills are under chris' name but i tell him which mob we go through or if we are going to change providers, which reminds me he has to change from TRU to Red on our elecrticity.

Fingers crossed for Pete's check up
Mumma3
Kylie i hope all goes well with the check up for Pete, sending lots of wishes your way.

patricia- i downloaded a trial version of Photostudio today and that with picassa is very cool, there is so much to do but just figuring it out at the moment. Thanks for all your help.
Children definelty do become the highlight of your life with every little smile. But i understand completley about all the questions.

Kylie- i have Pm'ed you the details of the surgery as i only know it from the detailed point of view and didnt want it to be TMi for everyone else.

I think i might do what you did Kylie and change my bank card and medicare card etc and then go to the department of transport, that seems like a much easier option!

I'll give you the update on the ultrasound when i get back tonight (it is at 3.30pm), drinking my water now... smile.gif
kylieandpeter
Patricia - Medicare only needs the oone ou signed on the day. (you just fill in a change a detial form)

Claire - How did the ultrasound go???
Good luck to Brad today - thinking of you all.
i havn't changed my licence yet but a few ppl have told me that. Apparently a new medicare card takes up to three weeks. (have a bit of paper with my new number on it though)

Thanks for your wishes about pete.

Prinited out hepas of wedding photos yesterday and it is amazing how different they can look on the computer screen compaired to actually printed!
Uh we get our redone wedding DVD back today (come on mail man) so very excited about that!!
Mumma3
Kylie- The ultrasound went well, they couldn't see anything which is a good thing, although he said he couldnt see my ovaries which i dont know why. He asked to do an internal ultrasound but i said no has i cant handle the pain, (i cant even have a pap smear!). But the results should be back at my doctor next week, but i dont think there was anything wrong at all.

Thanks for your wishes for brad everyone.

Thats great about your photos and getting your dvd soon. I went to change my bank details yesterday but the ultrasound took too long and the bank was closed.
moore
Claire - that's great news about the ultrasound. And I know what you mean about internal ultrasounds, they are awful things! My thoughts are with Brad today, hoping they fix him nice and easy.

Patricia - yeah, medicare told me to bring in the marriage certificate and another piece of ID like a drivers licence, as long as it has your new name on it and a photo.

Has anyone done and sent out their thank you's yet? I'm guessing you all have, I am running a bit behind on that, and I just don't have the time to fit it in. My project for this weekend is to at least get them started.

We are having the family over tonight to sit and talk about the wedding and honeymoon stories, so that should be nice. We just haven't had a spare second to do anything like this. So once tonight is over I think we will be able to move on a little more IYKWIM. We sort of need closure on the whole wedding thing. And since we came home last week we just haven't spoken to many people about their views of our wedding, so when we hear their views it will ease our minds I think. We know everyone had a great time, we just need to hear it, ha ha.

claire - good to hear you think all is good with your ultrasound, big ((hugs)0 for brad today.

Lisa - im still having to get started on thank you's i'f decided on going to do what my SIL did and go to the photo place and get a rectangle type paper with a photo of me and chris on it and also our names and date and thank you message beside the photo - does that make sense?

Yeah, that sounds beautiful! We got thank you cards printed up as part of our invitation package, so I guess I will just write on the back, to add a personal touch. But when everyone just gave us cash or put money in the honeymoon registry, it's hard to think of something personal to write. Hmmm, I'll have to put my thinking cap on... if I can find it! tongue.gif

No update on Brad yet, he left here at 10.30 and had to be at the hospital at 11.30 then was being preped for an hour then in surgery. Im guessing it will all be done by now but wont know anything till brad is well enough to call me or just sent be a text. But im sure everything went well.

I'm the odd one out with the thank you notes. I wrote all mine out the day after the wedding and posted them on the Monday! Plus i've sent of discs to everyone with photos on them and a copy of the wedding dvd to our parents and siblings. Maybe i have too much time on my hands!!! haha. No, my exceuse for organisation is not having a honeymoon.

Hope the dvd is just as you wanted it Kylie, and i hope they spelt your name right this time!
Patricia- the thank you notes sound very nice, you will have to post a pic when you get them.

Lisa- what about including the words "thank you for your generous gift" for the money gifts or something along those words?

I love your sig too lisa, your photos look great.
