Hi Girls,

I really need some advice... H2B and I just had a fight. He is not spontanious at all, and I don't just mean romantic stuff... He can't even do anything at the last minute or drop of a hat. If we go somewhere and things change.. e.g If we plan to go to lunch and maybe while at lunch I think I might want to check out Myer or go to a movie or something he can't cope he acts like it's the end of the world!

He can't do anything without it being planned and I can't stand it. We always stay at home because on the weekend he just wants to hang around on the computer or read his book... if I ask him to go somewhere he complains...

I don't know what to do? I really can't stand it any longer... Please some advice? Should I just grin and say ohh well it's just him or should he be more flexible... mind you he said he will never change because that's just him!

Spontenaiety (or lack thereof) in a relationship is a common issue.

Have a serious heart to heart with your boy and look at how you can both make little efforts each day to help resolve this.

(erm.. having said that... planning spontenaiety is kind of an oxymoron)

Other than this would bribery work?

some people just get very anxious when their routine is shuffled around, and if he's feeling any physical or mental ill effects from this it might be good for you to both have a chat to his GP

excessive worry is never good for you!
