Yeah, I reckon G-ma's the way to go! Lol, love it Kathy!
So, did we ever end up getting a full report on your holiday?
Xander's grandparents are quite boring - there's Grandma and Pop, and my parents are Ma and Old dad, and then my real dad is Grumps! lol
Very exciting that you're going to be a Grandma - are you going to ring me like you did after Amanda's wedding when she gives birth?

Hi Laurette,
Do you still have my mobile no???????
I dont have yours anymore got a new phone and when i was transfering numbers from old phone i somehow managed to delete at least half of the numbers so you better email it to me or txt me the number so i can at least txt you the birth notice do you mind if its an early morning txt I have a feeling it will be an early in the morning birth just hope he/she dosent take as long as its mum to make the grand entrance (19hrs).
The trip was good but I dont think I would do it again Australia is so big I like being on the east coast at least its not too far from one stop till the next not like WA You drive for hours and not see a thing down around Perth is ok and up the top is great (in Winter) but in between theres nothing but red dirt and road trains. My tip fly over there do the Perth region then fly up to Broome and enjoy Cable beach dont worry about the winery region of Margaret River save up your money and do the Barrossa and Adelaide Hills wineries they are so much better.
Anyway better go things to knit

HI Marchies

Hope you are all doing ok as we enter into our second year of marriage. I cannot believe that I have been married for 2 years it has gone by so fast. Doesn't help that the majority of the first year hubby was overseas I guess!
I don't know if N will be here or on an exercise next week so he may miss our anniversary, but thats ok he missed the first one too so don't really care.
We are spending the weekend after in the same hotel room that we stayed in for our wedding night

2 person spa bath and king size bed. Should be nice.
Anyway just wanted to say hi, I miss you girls.

That's great Michelle! We had a nice weekend away to Sydney to celebrate, which was awesome.
Things are up and down here...we are finally moving and getting a nicer, bigger house (!!) but unfortunately I suffered a miscarriage. Back to the drawing board for us!

Hi girls!!
Wow! It just goes to show how much time really does change!!
Laurette, i had no idea that you had had another baby!! Congratulations!!
Congratulations to you too Amanda!! A little baby girl on the way!! How exciting!!!
Well Alex and I are pretty good, life in general is a very mixed bag, and it's very hard to cope with such polar opposite emotions of very good and very bad things happening.
On the good side, Mark and I have bought our first house and we moved in a couple of weeks ago, it's a nice 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house and we are thrilled that we were able to afford something so nice. It was so good to say goodbye to renting.
On the bad side, my father was diagnosed with terminal skin cancer about two weeks before we bought our house. The doctors gave him 12 months to live, but he sadly passed away 10 days prior to our settlement, just two months after his diagnosis, and his funeral was just 4 days before settlement, so we had two very huge things happening on top of each other. I'm still struggling to come to terms with it all. It has been an incredibly emotional time and it's very hard to find time to grieve and process it all when you are not only chasing a toddler but trying to change addresses and unpack and organise stuff.
Hope you are all well.

Wow reading this thread has brought back memories! I can't believe it's been two and a half years

. I was so knackered after planning an interstate wedding within 5 months that I couldn't organise my way out of a paper bag for at least six months afterwards. I absolutely loved our wedding day though, food and wine and weather were all fantastic.
I haven't caught up on everyone's news yet, although Laurette you've managed to fit in an extra baby somehow and I'm very sorry to hear about your father Beck.
And Amanda, thanks for the trip down memory lane and I'll keep seeing you in the December pregnancy thread. Can't believe I got to mid November before realising we'd also been wedding twins
