I have done a very quick skim of a lot of pages and you girls all looked so beautiful.
Well, yes, I am up the duff (again, things didn't go so well the first time) as far as i know everything is going well. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow, and now that i know this thread is still alive, i'll definately post you girls a picture. I am due somewhere between April 8th and 13th, i will get a more definate date tomorrow.
I promise to keep on popping in here now.

All I can say is thank God its Friday. Im at home and my weekend has begun yippee!! The plan is to head to the beach tonight for dinner to watch the sunset (my fav thing to do) but depends on how late N gets home, he has had lectures all week about explosive devices and the likes. Tomorrow we are booked into the hotel for a night of lovin'

yay, go the swannies! Thankfully ONE of the red and white teams won over the weekend! Otherwise I would have been SHATTERED.
CHLOE! Where are you? Have you forgotten us already???
Michelle, I am hearing you on the mondayitis - I hate getting up on Monday mornings. It really really sucks ass.
Amanda, I hope that you dont have to do anything too strenuous today

I really dont like the sound of this res school caper...

Hiya Girls
I'm sooooo tired... My cousin came down from Canberra to spend the weekend with us and we dropped her off at the airport this morning at 6:45am. That meant a 5am wake up. I am lucky - I drove home and went to back to bed to try to catch a bit of a nap.... Alex and Tammy are both trying to work!
Michelle - good on you for having a wonderful weekend with your hubby. IT looks and sounds gorgeous!!! I vote you guys do that a hell of a lot more often

Any decisions made yet about going back to Qld or stayin?
Beck!!!!! Oh your baby looks perfecto! Thanks for for sharing! Great to see you back in here

Amanda - whoah girl... You're workin too hard... Specially on a Monday! Hope you get to have a nice glass of wine tonight and destress!
Laurette do you guys have airconditioning? I hope you manage to stay cool this summer especially with lil chessor! One of my first projects will be to install airconditioning uptstairs - anyone know how how much that'd cost??
Chloe (barely managing to keep eyes open...)
OXOXOXOXOXOXO

I second that motion, Make sure you take time out to de-stress yourself.
Well its halfway through the working day at least. I hope you are all surviving so far. Mum comes up next Friday (6th oct) I cant wait. And as for my decision, now leaning towards going home, Neil just has tot find out exactly what the requirements are. I am a bit scared, so much to organise, so little time. If he was coming with me it would be easier but I have to do it all myself - might have to enlist the help of mum to help me unpack and organise everything - phone electricity etc. Also scared about telling the boss here

But still undecided as yet.
Laurette
Sep 25 2006, 05:46 PM
ooh, good luck Michelle

Chloe, I hope that you and Alex made it through the day OK.
Righto, I finally took a pic of my bouquet to share with you - our wedding present from Glenn's parents. I love it, though not sure that it was worth the $$ it cost, but I'm not complaining.
magnetique
Sep 26 2006, 08:57 AM
Out of interest Laurette - how much was it?
My fleurs had wilted by the next day

so it wasnt an option for me!
Laurette
Sep 26 2006, 09:41 AM
It was between $800 and $900
The photo shows it up to look quite horrible, the big leaves etc, but it looks quite good on the wall in the grand scheme of things.
Saffire
Sep 26 2006, 10:21 AM
oh Laurette its gorgeous!!! Wow unbelievable that that bouquet is over 6 months old - the colour is still so vivid!
I think they did a fantastic job. My mum wanted to do the same for my bouquet but I was overseas and when she told me about it I forbid her to spend that kind of money. Mum had already spent so much money on my dress trying to sew it herself.... I wanted to pay for the bouquet but she wouldn't let me so I told her not to go ahead with it...
Laurette you're going to have a gorgeous beautiful memory forever - worth the money I say!!!
Had the landscaping guy come around yesterday....He thinks it is going to look FANTASTIC but his rough rough rough guestimate of cost is about 18k
I'm going to wait and see before running and hiding - he hasn't done a proper quote yet and there are ways we can save money (Alex and his bro are going to do the digging lol)... But GULP!
And there is a lot of furniture I want to buy too.....
Laurette
Sep 26 2006, 11:20 AM
Oh dear Chloe, that is kind of expensive, but I guess when you think about what the house would be worth and all that sort of thing, it's all relative.
So do you have any plans for exactly what you want to do? I still reckon that you could have a plunge pool in your backyard!

Sep 26 2006, 01:08 PM
Laurette it is beautiful. I think mine died the next day, cant even remember.

Hugs Michelle....and you spelt it right too.....I always remember doing a project on deserts in year 4 and wrote 'HOT DESSERTS' at the top of the page...which the teacher found most amusing...
MMMMMMmmmm hot desserts!!!!! Anyone for a weight watcher pudding?

Hi girlies, I might have to take a pic of my boy in his new uniform. He looks good in uniform, better out of it though! I think I will be packing my bags in 7 weeks too, have talked it over with my manager, she agrees and then I will have to talk it over with the owners. I am so nervous about this, am I doing the right thing?
By the way, my sig is Frucked, when I try to edit it at all it just redirects me to the ticker website, even when Im not clicking on the link - even pressing update my sig sends me to ticker. Its driving me insane whats wrong with it?
Laurette
Sep 27 2006, 02:00 PM
ooh, I dont know Michelle

That all sounds very difficult! I reckon that that best way to do it would be to get rid of it and then put a brand new one in?
I am glad that you have had a chat with your manager

I think that you have made the right decision - you will enjoy being back near your family and they will love having you there. I also think that the time will go faster when you're back there

How long now until your mum comes to visit?
Do the DHA find you somewhere to live? Or do you have to do that yourself?
---
Sep 27 2006, 05:12 PM
Mum comes next Friday but I cant really get any decent time off work

Yes I will get a house through DHA if there are any available otherwise rent privately. My own batchelorette pad.
I have tried deleteing my sig, but any time I even click in the edit box at all it redirects me to tickerfactory or something, very annoying grrrrrrrrr

I think I have to email Tim perhaps.
beckabunny
Sep 27 2006, 06:42 PM
Michelle, if it's the bottom signature you're talking about, the problem is that you haven't closed your colour tag. Each opened tag needs to be closed. Eg.
< center > somehting < / center > without the spaces puts whatever in the centre
< bold > something < / bold > makes it bold (leaving out the spaces of course.)
so all you should have to do is type in </colour> and close off any other tags and it should work
Hope that made sense.
Beck

Sep 27 2006, 09:36 PM
Beck I cant get in to change my signature at all, it is corrupted somehow and sends me to tickerfactory when I try to do anything

I emailed admin so now just wait and see how long it takes for me to get a reply, Im sure they are busy after all of the crap thats gone on here lately.

Well here is his old and new uniform. Dont really like the new one. They look like pants you might wear to a mardi gras, all those purple and brown spots aren't flattering! Also, dont know how camoflaged they would be. Oh well.

Sep 28 2006, 11:19 AM
No i like the old cams much better....but I guess you need different cammo for different environments right?
Still having issues with the Sig michelle? Sorry I can't offer any assistance!
We are off to Coffs today thank god until Tuesday. I have 100 papers to mark whilst away though, so that's a bit of a bummer, but at least I have time at the beach!
Anyway, better get back to marking now, so I can reduce the amount of work I need to do at the coast!
Chat to you all next week

oooh - forgot to add one of my besties (and one of my BM's) got engaged last night!! WOOHOO! How exciting!
I must admit I'm a bit wedding-ed out at the mo, we went to Paddy's cousin's wedding on the weekend, and have another coming up soon, but by the time she is looking at, I'll be about ready for another one!
Laurette
Sep 28 2006, 11:29 AM
Awesome Amanda, that's great for her! Did she ask you to be a BM or has she not got that far yet?
Michelle, those pants are a bit funny looking, but by the time he gets all dusty I dont think it's going to matter

Any progress on the sig or moving?
Amanda, have a fantastic time away! I bet that you will be so nice and rested when you get back!
I am at home having a mental health day today.

Sep 28 2006, 12:56 PM
The lovely Tim fixed my sig, and told me to make sure I close all tags. I know how to do this, it wasnt the problem, but anyways its fixed now lets hope it doesnt happen again.
I am going. I am shitting myself, but my last day of work wiill be 27th Oct. This will enable us to have our holiday in early Nov before he goes in mid Nov. I havent told my boss yet, but the practice manager knows and has be really supportive and we have had a few 'counselling' sessions with tears, so with her support I feel better. Must do the resignation letter tonight. Ive also got to do the inventory tonight for the removalist.
Oh sorry I missed the bit about the mental health day. I hope your doing ok lovely, take the day to relax and take care of yourself and your beautiful bubba xox

Michelle, that is a lovely poem

I had a little tear!
That's great that you will be able to help your sister with her wedding, I am sure that you will both appreciate it!
To center your sig, put <center> on the first line of the 'edit sig' box and then start your typing on the next line.

Oh Michelle.
That poem is so poignant.... I'm just so emotional nowadays (I'm not preggers, but I think I'm pmsing...).
Neil's new outfit looks more fashion runway than camoflage...??? They're so...purple!!!
I'm so glad you made your decision and see? you feel good about it. That means its the right decision. Especially as you will be able to plan your sister's wedding and spend time with family. Good luck with the job situation!
Amanda - enjoy Byron! Have a fantastic time and don't work too hard!
Laurette - you feeling ok? Hope everything's ok with you and bubby!!!!
Alex is in the proces of mass producing our wedding photos DVD slideshow... Its basically a DVD slideshow of all the professional pictures to music. He's going to burn heaps of copies, print on the actual DVD and send them out to family with our thank you card. Should be a lovely gift hopefully...
Laurette - feel free to send me your DVD and I'll make copies for you as well! I can even print onto the DVD

Excuse me Mrs Chessor, did I read correctly that you felt Lil Chess move? OMG!!!!!

I am so so so so happy for you!! Does it make it seem more real??
Laurette
Sep 29 2006, 08:43 AM
Oh yeah, it makes it seem so real when someone's booting you from the inside - it's a very very strange sensation when you're being poked by something you cant see - and you dont know if it's a head, or a hand, or a foot... but man it's cool. I would so recommend it. I just want him/her to do it all the time! But I guess that the bub has to sleep sometimes too!
Chloe, that would be sensational! I would also love to see a copy of the slideshow that Alex is doing... if not a copy of the DVD highlights? I will have to send you one of ours - I have been trying for ages to copy it myself, and I just cant - it wont work, I think that I need one of them encrypter things.
I will PM you for your address!

Well today I resigned. Gave my boss my resignation letter and cried while he was talking to me. I am feeling so flat, so over all this. Sometimes I hate the army.

Hi girls,
Laurette, that's so kool that you felt lil chess move. I've been feeling infrequent flutters every now and then but nothing that a real definate movement. I can't wait to feel the full proper movements.
Love your new sig Michelle, i'm sure you're doing the right thing.
As for me, well, My best friend is now engaged, her engagement party is on cup day weekend. She's asked me to be MOH, so that'll be fun. All i said is the wedding better be after April next year lol, coz i'm not walking down the aisle looking like a whale. She asured me that she's currently thinking of 2008, phew!
On the side of not so good news, the doctors have found a cancerous malenoma (sp?) on my dads back. They have taken some of it off already, but there's more there they'll have to get rid of with proper surgery, and they have to do a scan to see how far the cancer has gotten into his body.
We won't know until late October how far it has gone and what they can do.
So i'd appreciate some good vibes being sent his way. He really needs to try and relax and think positive, he's got himself scared to death and isn't sleeping or coping at all which isn't helping his general health.
Beck
Beck, I have everything crossed for your dad and will send him all my positive vibes. xox
