Inbuilt air fresheners sound pretty cool! Im a bit p'ed off, I washed my car yesterday and during the day today a rather rude bird who must have eaten a stack of fruit shat all over my windscreen. All little red berries all over the car rolleyes.gif Cant wait for the wet season aagin so the birds bugger off.

Laurette how did you get to almost 20weeks? blink.gif blink.gif Time flies hey, only 20 more weeks til we get to meet Lil Chess. wub.gif wub.gif
magnetique
hahaha Michelle that's classic. Always the way, isn't it?

Well my car loan is almost paid off, and some a$$ of a kangaroo decided to jump RIGHT IN FRONT of my car on the weekend. The car now needs a whole new bumper and panel beating down one side. thank god its insured, I'll only have to pay the excess of $500...they think it will cost nearly $4000 to repair, at least NRMA will foot the bill!We were travelling in an overtaking lane (left side), cars all around, no shoulder to pull into, so there was no choice but to hit it. It was awful.

And Laurette...20 weeks before you can have a strong margarita or 5 heh (according to your ticker)....don't worry I'll make up for it for you now!
Laurette
I reckon a good feed of chimichangas and nachos and about 6 lime margaritas would go down a treat right about now!

Chloe, car sounds awesome, and your wedding album looks absoloutely sensational. What a beautiful keepsake to have to remember your wedding day wub.gif It's just perfect, and I am sure that all your family appreciated you having it o/s with you. How wonderful of your photographers too.

Amanda, so sorry to hear about your car - that really sucks. I have seen plenty of cars that have been hit by kangaroos, and it aint pretty. I am just so glad that you're OK smile.gif

Well....how on earth did I get to 19 and a bit weeks. I am not quite sure. But I know that I am ready for it and wish that it would go even faster! I will have more ultrasound photos for you on the 14th, next Thursday.

Michelle, mad.gif at that damn bird.
Saffire
Michelle: mad.gif at the damn bird

and

Amanda: mad.gif at the damn kangaroo

Laurette: ohmy.gif where has all that time gone?!?!?!?!?!!??

I'm very demotivated and can't be arsed working today... this week... Trying to plan flights to Brisbane for christmas. I hate going back at christmas time.. its such a chore and so expensive! Wish we could just stay here and spend the money on...clothes.. or furniture.. or car stuff.. lol

--M--
Chloe Im going home at Christmas too yippee. Is going to cost be very close to $1000 all up for return flights blink.gif but worth every cent I dont want to spend xmas here by myself.

Hope your doing ok and enjoying your car!
Kathy W
Hi girls,

We are in Broome (luvs it)the weather is perfect the food is yummo and the beach well you cant get much better white sand and blue water will post some piccies asap.

It took some doing to get here had to see heaps of red rocks and dirt but it was worth the wait.

Michelle,

Sorry we didnt conect while i was in Darwin better luck next time.

We went to Mataranka and swam in the thermal pools there it was pretty weird having this warm water to swim in and not a pool heater in site or the smell of chlorine.

Laurette,

Hows your bump going?I cant believe you are at 20weeks already wont be long now.

Chloe,

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother.Hope your mum is holding up ok.

Anyway we are going north from here to a place called Cape Leveque it's 200k's north of here on a pretty rough road and we were told to expect the trip to take about 4hrs so that should be fun. Will let you know how things go as its pretty basic up there no phones etc.

Better go everyone be good.

Far out i wish this thing would email me with updated posts!

Good to hear from you on here mum, but I guess I will be speaking to you before you read any posts!

Car is going in on Monday to be fixed, will definately cost the $500 excess though....

I think we are going to Coffs for Xmas, don't know where my mummy and daddy will be so I'll have to impose on the inlaws!

Chat soon ladies....

Amanda
Laurette
Christmas this year I am staying in my own house with the air conditioner and eating BBQd prawns. If anyone wants to see me, they can come to me I have decided!

Good to hear from you Kathy, glad that you are having a good time.

Wow, all you girlies going away for Christmas... hope that you wi8ll have mobile phones with you for any birth updates!
magnetique
Good one Laurette....that's exactly how I would be. You are the one that has to be comfortable for sure!!!

I'm planning on not doing ANY WORK and just hanging at the beach. It will be the first time in ages that I won't have to work over the Xmas break. Last year I was teaching a summer school and still doing my thesis; and the two Xmas' before that I was doing my thesis. The Xmas before that I was at the College of Law and had a huge assignment to do over the Xmas break, and before that I was still at uni where I was either doing summer schools or summer work, where my Xmas breaks were always cut short. Im making the most of it this year!!
--M--
Hi girls.

I have been thinking about christmas a lot lately too. I am going home to be with my mummy. Neil marched into his new unit today and has started his pre deployment training. The more I think about it the more I think of vomiting. Anyway he is leaving anywhere from 14th - 28th Nov (date has changed a bit) and won't be home til late June at the earliest, perhaps even sometime in July. So thats 7 - 8 months all up. We are looking into me being relocated to Townsville the army will pay for me to move, just have to work out the pros and the cons of moving , there are quite a few things to consider. We are due to move again Dec 2007 so will keep that in mind also...
Wont tell my boss anything til I have decided for sure..
Im so sorry for rambling all this crap to you.

ps just realised my little butterfly is half off my ticker. That meants Ive been married nearly 6 months how did that happen??!!
Saffire
Hi Girlies!

Michelle - oh man... 7 to 8months without Neil??!?! I can't believe that:o. Good luck with your decision making regarding where you're going to stay - Perhaps being with family and friends would be nice? Let us know and feel free to ramble any time yeah? And yay about spending Christmas at home smile.gif How expensive are those flights??! We're looking down at a $800 bill for the two of us to go back at Christmas.... I'm going to try to negotiate not going back at christmas time but I doubt the inlaws would be happy about that...

Kathy!!! so great to hear from you and find out where your travels have taken you smile.gif I"ve always wanted to go to Broome..... *sigh*

Amanda - coffs for xmas sounds fab! beach... cool drinks... sounds honey-moon-like to me!

Laurette - airconditioning and prawns sounds fantastic too! Hmmm who should I crash for Christmas????? And Yes yes - we wnat birth updates so make sure you send us sms's!

What a gorgeous day it is here in Melbourne today... Dont feel like working... just for a change laugh.gif

Laurette
Think that you've got the wrong year/group sweet wub.gif

Amanda, that's great that you are going to have some time off over the holidays - I really hope that you and Paddy enjoy your first Christmas as 'newlyweds' chicken wub.gif

Chloe, CRIKEY... $800? You're kidding! That is so much money to us country hicks! Well, it's only about a week of Glenn's wage, but still so much money! You could pay off my pram with that cash you will save if you come and have prawns and zooper doopers (might splurge on Frosty Fruits if you come) with me smile.gif smile.gif

Michelle, I am so sorry to hear about the length of time that Neil is going to be away chickadee... Massive hugs to you babe. I am sure that he will be missing you a lot too sad.gif I hope that I will be able to keep up amused with lots of photos and videos of the newest Chessor around that time smile.gif And we can have a big countdown for you wub.gif Thinking of you gorgeous xxxx

I really hope that we can revive this thread - I so miss the days of our ongoing chatter... anyone'd think that we all got growed and up married or something!

biggrin.gif
--M--
Ive been looking at air fares and I can get overseas for cheaper than I can get to Townsville!!!!! I doubt I will get return flights home for under $1000.
Laurette
That is so dodgy Michelle... I wonder why on earth that is? I guess that it's peak season, and the airlines have to make the most of it sad.gif

Chloe, where did your sig go?

It was my 6 month anniversary yesterday and my husband didnt even care sad.gif
--M--
Its a little bit more at xmas but that is just the standard price of flights from here, because we are in the middle of no where *sob*
Laurette
Oh dear sad.gif I guess that's a bit like flights from Wagga - they are steep too.

Laurette I KNOW!!! OH I KNOW!!!

oooh Parents would love that - hey we can't come up to Brisbane this Christmas cos the flights are too expensive and we need to buy a pram instead.. LOL THEY'LL LOVE THAT!!!

OOoh YUmmmmmm Frosty Fruits!!!! Yeehah! Bring on summer! Supposed to be 21 degrees and sunny today. Well that didn't work out well did it? I'm freezing cold and had to come back home to get my jacket. mad.gif Grrr Mr Weather Man!

Can you guys believe its been 6 months?!? (can you believe Laurette has 20 weeks to go?!?! or is it 19 now?)

Michelle and Amanda its our 6 month anniversary this coming monday. I bought Alex some boxers today as a wee pressie. I didn't want to break the bank and he SO needs some new boxers. MY GOD> He has these really really really really really old ones and the elastic is like nonexistent and they just fall straight off him. He actually has to hold them while he wears them... But he insists on wearing them to bed (I figure there's no poitn cos they sit anywhere between his waist and his feet at any given time throughout the night)....

Well he has new Mr men ones now. Mr Greedy - cos they didn't have Mr Happy lol.

Ok, I'm off to the city where I am to pick up a mysterious package that apparently I ordered but the lady who called isn't able to tell me on the phone what it actually is..... Curiouser and curiouser!!!!

Chloe XOXOXOXOXO

Where's my sig? I hope its stil there.. sad.gif I can see it!!! Was thinking about changing it but eh. I'm lazy and i like this one. You can't actually see my face lol!

Awww Laurette I'm sorry Glen missed his own 6 month anniversary.... Did you remind him er.. subtley?? LOL
Laurette
Oh yeah, i reminded him - he just didnt care. Didnt think that it was worth acknowledging. just like he didnt think that the 20 week mark was worth acknowledging. he's annoying me lately. really really badly.

Chloe, that's a cool present. Can we have a pic of him in them laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

(just joking)

I wanna know what your package was too - that surely is very very curious.
--M--
6 month anniversary is worth celebrating - for me anyway because I dont know if we will be together for our 1 yr anni. I am getting my 1st brazillian soon - happy 6 month anniversary honey! I think he will love it.

Saffire
OMG

(Laurette so sorry I'm posting this - I hope you don't get angry at Glen...)

So I went into town to the Teddy Bear Shop. This is the shop that called me this morning asking me to come in to pick up my order. The order that they couldn't tell me what it was...

As I'm walking into the shop I'm thinking - I have NEVER been here before... how could I have ordered something from here?!?!?!?

I went into the teddy bear shop and the sales assistant directs me to the BIGGEST paddington bear I have ever seen with a card in his large paw with my name on it.

Alex had organised for this surprise for our 6 month anniversary! He bought me a paddington bear (a much much smaller one) in London on our honeymoon and I took him everywhere... I even took him on the plane... we went to Paris and back to London and then to Prague...where I lost him sad.gif . And I was really upset that I lost him - we think we lost him in the taxi going from the airport in prague to the hotel... we called all the taxi companys and asked them if they found a bear to send him to the hotel and we would rewards their efforts and time but alas, I think some other child in Prague was meant to enjoy my bear and love him..

Anyway, this card read: "I've put on quite a bit of weight since you lost me. But I'm glad to see you and it should be more difficult to lose me now! Love Paddington.

I'll try to take a photo of the bear to share with you guys - its seriously masssiiiive!!!

His present is going to crap all over my boxers... huh.gif
Saffire
Here we go smile.gif

IPB Image
Laurette
Oh Chloe - I am bawling my eyes out. I think that you have the sweetest husband on the entire planet! Oh, what a nice man... you lucky chicki! *tears* *sobs*

And doesnt he look as proud as punch in the photo! That is so beautiful! So so beautiful... *emotional wreck*

Good on your gorgeous girl wub.gif You deserve it! Did you drive home with him on the seat next to you?

Go Michelle! Good on you - and dont worry, it wont hurt - much.

I have my 20 week ultrasound today - we can find out the sex if we want to... We are still not 100% sure, but we'll see. Probably wont find out. It's in an hour and a half, will come back with pic to post tonight.
Laurette
Hi yall

Well, scan went well. No 3D for us, no pictures but we got to have a video of the whole thing, which I will watch tonight since I couldn’t see the monitor.

I hated every minute of it. The guy was an ass – different to the one last time – and I had to ask him if all was OK… he just said ‘OK that’s it’ and didn’t even give me anything to wipe my tummy off with – I had to ask before doing my pants back up.

He pushed so so hard on my tummy that I was almost in tears the whole time and I am welling up now thinking about it. It hurt so much and my tummy is aching so much. I asked him about my placenta, mentioning that I hadn’t felt any movement and he said that ‘it’s fine, you should have – it’s an active baby’ and that was it.

I had to roll from my back to my side, almost over to my tummy about 20 times to try and get the baby to roll over so that he could look at it’s back properly, so I felt like a right loser then, and Glenn was pissing himself laughing because I looked so funny, whereas I just wanted to cry.

Long story short, everything is fine – 10 fingers and 10 toes (I did see the toes when he first put the thing on my tummy, but then I had to stop craning my neck before I snapped it!) all the organs there and in the right spots, and the heart is fine.

I was so looking forward to today. I wonder if I can get a referral to have another one done at the ultrasound place in Wagga…

And now Glenn’s gone off to work, and I am back here and I don’t get to see him again until nearly 11pm, and I just want a hug.

Sigh.

Thanks for listening.
--M--
Aww Chloe *passes the Kleenex around* Alex is so gorgeous. You certainly have a sweetheart there. Happy 6 month anniversary, and Im sure your boxer shorts will be a hit with him, I was having a giggle thinking about his old ones that fall down haha.

Laurette, your post sounded so down, Im really sorry that the guy was a jerk, I know how much you wouold have been looking forward to it. I dont suppose you found out the sex and want to share hey?? I guess you know he/she is healthy and thats great but from what I read on here the ultrasounds are a huge part of the whole experience, and it sucks that he wrecked it for you. If you want to get another one then go for it.

Im not talking to my hhusband at the moment. *sigh* I have gone onto a new pill and the dr warned me I may get a bit moody, so I dont know if its that or just me being an unreasonable bitch, but it seems he just wants to play his stupid online computer games. Im thinking, hell your leaving me in about 10 weeks and you will get to play computer shit non stop over there (as well as real war games) and I wont be there to nag him to stop, but FFS I am getting clingy and want to cherish every moment before he leaves and dont like being ignored for a computer game. We have 10 weeks before he leaves for 7 months am I being a bitch for nagging him about computer games? Probably yes but oh well. Got to stop now Im getting teary at work - not a cool look.

Byye. xo
Laurette
oh dear Michelle - that is so wrong of him! I would be putting your foot down about that. Does it work when you cry? Can you put the tears on and see if that works? I am so sorry that he's being a jerk hun sad.gif I am sure that he's upset about leaving you too, though being a man probably handling it a bit different. Thinking of you buddy (massive hugs)

I had a massive cry after I wrote that post... big sook... I am just a baby. I think that once I get home and watch the video I will be OK. It was just a shit morning, and I think that because my tummy is so damn sore, it makes me think about it more.

But, if I think about Chloe's Paddington Bear surprise then that makes me smile smile.gif
Saffire
Oooooohhh Laurette and Michelle I hope today is a much better day for you!

(plus its a Friday so...TFGIF - there's an extra f-word in there just for free wink.gif)

Laurette I'm so sorry your experience was awful. I just look forward to when medical science can put babies in our boys stomachs so they can be laughed at and poked and prodded instead of us! Yes.. that image does bring a smile to my face... Until then - you hang in there you brave woman!!!

Let us know how the video looks and congrats that everything is going as well as planned!!!

Michelle - err.. format c??? Open up the innards of his machine and take something important-looking out?? Tell him you've decided to go away for a christian missionary thing 3 months before he leaves and he'll be alone without you for a change... ?? (of cousre change that story if you're not christian - perhaps feeding starving children in africa?)

I'm slightly terrified today. We put in an offer for out place yesterday. It was rejected last night and we've counter offered today. Apparently the agent thinks this one is a green light and has even asked when I'm free to go into the office to sign a contract note.

ohmy.gif Ahh!!! I'm too stupid and young to be a home owner (well i've previously owned a small portion of a property in Brisbane but that didn't count...). Alex and I are excited... Terrified... Excited... Freaking out...and I'm planning to knock down the bakc wall... just cos if we get this place... well i can!

We're off to Daylesford this weekend to celebrate our anniversary... how odd that we're escaping our home and it maybe ours after today..???
--M--
Ok after a big chat (read: fight, cry and make up) we are friends again. Its the age old story of girl gets upset, boy doesn't notice, which makes girl turn into psycho girl) Anyway after a big long discussion and many kleenexes later, he knows why I am upset and is sincerely sorry for making things worse. The thing that he realised is that I am not coping with the thought of being alone, and this is making me turn little things into big things. He has said now that he knows whats going on in my head (not coping, being terrified etc) he will do his best to cater to my increasing needs. So in the end we are friends again and everything is good.

Chloe have fun at Daylesford, we went to Hepburn Springs on the day N proposed way back in 2004, he had me booked in for some pampering and it was bliss. Hope your weekend is great.

Thank the Lord its Friday,
Michelle xoxo

Laurette
Wow Chloe, how exciting about the house - I really hope that it all works out for you! Make sure that you let us know how it all goes ASAP! Have fun on your outing for your anniversary, that's so cute wub.gif

Michelle, I am so glad to hear that you and Neil are friends again, that's wonderful *cry* I am very glad to hear that he understands what's going on in your head. That's a great start! And how exciting about your mum coming so soon! I just noticed your ticker, that's sensational!

OMG

I think Alex and I just bought a house!!!! ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

They accepted our offer - shizer... its too scary!!! BUT very exciting... But also very scary!!!

Have a great weekend girls.. I'm going away to freak out for the weeekend..
--M--
WHoohoo Chloe congratulations !!! I am so happy for you both, it must be a wonderful feeling smile.gif

Im home from work now, thankfully, the week did go quick so it was ok. I got home to flowers and a resteraunt booking for somewhere nice today wub.gif

We got our tax back, Mr Tax Man was nice to us, so now we have to decide what to do with the money, a holiday in Nov is looking good, just before he goes away..
Laurette
YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY Chloe! that's wonderful! We want pics of YOUR house please!

Michelle, great news that you will be able to have a bit of time together before Neil goes away, away from home and the computer. I am sure that you will both have a wonderful time!

Not too much to report from me, 21 weeks today... that's about it. Glenn is at work again, I am home alone, as usual and bored outta my brain, as usual.
magnetique
FAR OUT I WISH THIS THING WOULD EMAIL ME WHEN NEW MESSAGES ARE POSTED! B@$TARD!!!!

Anywhoo, sorry I haven't poked my head in this week...have been very busy and without the reminder that people are posting it slipped my mind to check!

Haven't we been a busy bunch this week!!!

Chloe - Alex is a sweetie! What a gorgeous man! We have come to coffs for the weekend by will be at home for the actual 6 month mark. We haven't really planned anything but we have been trying to take it easy this weekend. We have a huge week coming up - its residential school time here so it is straight days of teaching and no breaks, then we are off to Sydney on the weekend for a wedding so it will be a big rush week. It will be nice to have a special dinner or something on Monday night. Anyway, Alex is such a doll! What a gorgeous gift. Where have you put Paddington? Is there room for him?

Congrats on becoming a homeowner! Its so exciting isnt it! Unless, like us, your elation turns to the realisation that the bank still technically owns your house...and your soul! Make sure you get a redraw account - we put everything in that account which keeps the interest down, and then we just pull money out when we need to pay bills. They are a fantastic invention. I even have one now for my car loan. Oh - my car got fixed. Nice and shiny and non-kangaroo-ed now. How is your car going?

Michelle - sorry to hear about your ups and downs. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like. You poor thing. Glad to hear that you guys made up and that Neil is going to be sensitive to what is going through your mind. I agree totally that you just need to have a snap sometimes for them to get the freaking message!

Laurette - the ultrasound guy sounded like an ass. How was the video? You didn't mention whether you got to look at it when you got home. So you haven't found out what sex it is? The suspense would absolutely murder me. I'd have to know!! Sorry to hear it wasnt a good experience. Why can't they be more sensitive to first time mummies? And realise it is a big and scary experience?

Why have you got the poops on Glenn (indeed do you still)? Sounds like we (well, with the exception of Chloe) are all going through a stage of having the craps on our respective other halves. Paddy has been peeing me off big time too....its really stupid and picky, but he has been doing some lame things that have annoyed me lately. Like cleaning the bathroom (with bleach) in a brand new colorado jumper, with a ralph lauren shirt underneath. Both are now stained with bleach. Who does that? Or after putting weeding stuff all over the lawn, chucks the chemical stained pants into the wash without telling me - the acid crap BURNT THROUGH my laura ashley sheets that were a wedding present! Not to mention my AWESOME fake benetton shirt I got in Singapore.

IM. SO. MAD!

So everytime I ask him to be nice to his clothes I get in the poo for nagging! If I didn't say something he would have no clothes left! You can't win! Anyway, we haven't had a problem for the last couple of days, but I know there will be something else....and I HATE HATE HATE having the 'nagging wife' card played at me. That is so not me!

Anyway, better stop whinging. Good to hear from you all again, I know we haven't got the forum back to its old self, but I will TRY to remember to check back in here more if the stupid thing won't email me to remind me! I'm so glad we are keeping in touch.

Happy 6 months to the other March 18ers for tomorrow, and congrats (belatedly) to you Laurette!!

Amanda xxx

OMG Laurette....just saw your updates on the ticker - wait til Mummy sees the stretchmarks and varicose veins? Lordy couldn'y they be a bit more positive!?!?!?
--M--
Hey Amanda good to see you! Poor Paddy, I can just imagine him bleaching all of his good clothes haha. It is sweet that he does housework though. Who cleans in good clothes though?? I hope he gets the message soon.

I had a good weekend, Saturday was spent at the shops, spending lots of money, my goodness retail therapy is wonderful. Even though the shops here leave a lot to be desired.... Today we went to the army for a family day, it was good to see exactly who he is going o/s with. Lots of little kids running around, lots of other wives, it was kind of good for me to see, helps me put it into perspective that Im not the only one going through this.

We know someone leaving for Afg on Tues, his wife is due with their first in Nov, he may be able to come back for his 2 week rocl to see the birth, but then will have to leave his wife and newborn. So sad.

Next weekend we are booked at a hotel here for the weekend to celebrate our 6/12 anniversary. We get to defrost our wedding cake and eat some soon, we decided to do it whilst mum is here. Im not going to defrost it on my 1st anniversary and eat it by myself sad.gif

It does sound like everyone has had a bit of a fight lately but we are going through a bit of a tough experience at the moment so Im not taking it to heart. I never expected to feel so many different emotions go through my head in the build up to him going away.. Oh I dont know if I mentioned it but he passed out during his afternoon parade last week and had 2 days off (must have been sick the army doesnt usually just give you sick days) he is all recovered now though.

Hope you all have a great week.
xox

Love the new Ticker Michelle! I should get off my ass and do a new one.

Looks like email notifcation is working again! WOOHOO! Went into the control panel and did a bit of tweaking and VOILA! Working again!

Paddy only did housework cause I have been working 7 days a week. He had to do it or else it wouldnt get done!

Nice that you are going to celebrate your anniversary in style! I forgot to mention that on Tuesday we have also been together for 5 years, so we should try to do something nice this week, amongst everything else. We are staying at the Menzies in Sydney though which will be nice. Maybe we could sneak away from the other wedding early and fire up the jacuzzi!!

Well, I have to mark papers tonight, so I better get back to it.

No word on the PhD yet. Its been gone for over 6 weeks now. Feels quite strange still!

Chat soon,

Amanda
Laurette
Wow Amanda, has it really been six weeks? That's amazing! Thanks so much for your update, it's great to hear what you've been up to - you certainly sound like you're busy! I hope that they're paying you lots to make up for it! he he. I hope that you have a great weekend away, and I reckon that you certainly should fire up that jaccuzi! I cant spell... that would be awesome!

And poor Paddy, he's a bit of a putz, as Glenn would say to me! I cant talk though, I bleached my shirt! And tummy! OOOOW! with Exit mould yesterday - but, it was an old shirt, so it doesnt matter.

Thanks for noticing my ticker! This week it's talking about the bubba being heavier than Kate Moss! it's probably true though!

Michelle, I hope that you have a good time on the weekend wub.gif that will no doubt be great! And I am glad that you enjoyed the family day! Are there any other army wives that you are friends with that you can do stuff with? Might be good to have some others 'around' while Neil is gone - to both be a support for each other?

Chloe, I hope that you have had a good weekend away wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

magnetique
You bleached your tummy? I wonder if that means Chess Jr will be blonde? How hilarious that the bubba weighs more than Kate Moss! She probably isn't a good comparison for anything these days though given her extra-curricular activities!

Michelle - I forgot to tell you one of my BM's has just moved to Darwin, she's a pretty cool chick and always looking for a netball or basketball game. Let me know if you get bored and want a contact!

Thankfully the email response is finally working! You wont get rid of me now!

That is hilarious - heavier than Kate Moss hahahaha laugh.gif

Amanda - how does your friend like it up here? Just in time for the yucky weather. I wouldnt put her through the torture of playing with my netball team, N and I are both looking for ways to quit we hate our team. I have already quit my Monday team, just trying to get out of the Sunday team now - even though I always fill in for the Monday team rolleyes.gif The umpiring up here is terrible, worst I have seen so far, its killing my passion for netball sad.gif

Our new couches come on Tuesday so can't wait. We got a new outdoor setting last weekend its pretty groovy too.

Laurette
ooh, Michelle you know that means that you're going to have to share pictures with us! I love new furniture... mmmm....

I didnt actually physically bleach my tummy - I got some exit mould on my shirt, and it soaked through onto my tummy a bit, and it stung. Well, lil Chess's mummy is a blonde, but not naturally. I would say that the bub will have dark hair like his parents, but it better not be a throwback from Glenn's family and have red hair! I have threatened legal action!

Hilarious Laurette.....I will sue for you!

Yay michelle - new furniture!!! Guess what my new obsession is?!? lol I can't wait to properly furnish this place - with stuff that properly fits into the house...

Our weekend was lovely - tiring but lovely. We had a good friend come up to join us on saturday and I spent positively hours playing with the fireplace. I think I'm a closet pyromaniac. There is something just so satisfying about building a fire into a roaring flame - oh and you can throw dirty tissues/pizza boxes/etc in there which is great really.

Laurette - I PSML about your bleeched tummy laugh.gif Do you know if bub is a he or a she yet? She might like the bleech in say 15 or 20 years time.. lol

Amanda - you poor thing - I've seen alex cleaning stuff with noice clothes too.. but I think that must have been a long time ago. He's collected some nice clothes over the last 2 or 3 years living with me and he cherishes them much more than when he was scruffy.... Tell Paddy he has to pay you in romantic dinners/extra housework for the damage caused to your nice clothes... ! laugh.gif

Michelle - wow, what a sad story about that family with a baby due soon. I couldn't survive that alone I think I'd go crazy. And my mum would probably help me which might also make me go crazy. Is Neil ok after passing out? I've heard its not uncommon especially as they have to stand there for so long in the heat! hang in there buddy and make sure you post those furniture pics!!! We want to buy some nice outdoor furniture and a new BBQ..

Alex forgot to clean the webber the last time we had a fry up and we've since found about 10 diff species of mould has grown in there. I aint cookin anything in that so we're going to chuck it. sad.gif

Ok, you requested pictures of our new abode/castle... Here is a thread I started in the house & garden section:

Hope it works

Happy 6 month anniversary March 18'ers!!!!

Im booked to have my neither regions waxed on wed, so scared..
Laurette
You will be fine Michelle! It will be wonderful! PMSL...

Chloe, glad to hear that you had a good time away - and eew about the barbeque! I reckon it's probably about a million different types of mould and germs - they all look the same you know!

Off to check out the thread about your castle now!

We are not finding out the sex of the baby - it's going to be a surprise.

The name will be either - Joshua, Alex, Ryan, Isobel (Izzy) or Zoe.

What names out of those do you like the best though? I threw Ryan in there because I love it, but Glenn hates it. I am working on him.
Saffire
Laurette - I can highly recommend Alex as a boys name tongue.gif And Izzy - gee I wonder where you go that inspiration from laugh.gif

They are all beautiful names - maybe you'll know for sure when you meet chessor jnr? I've heard that sometimes the name is chosen after the baby is born smile.gif How exciting to find out when the time comes whether its a boy or a girl... I can't wait! Hurry up Laurette!

Michelle - oooh exciting! Nothin like a good wax to bring on the summer eh? I'm a freakin fire hazard at the moment lol.

Girls pop in here when you get a chance :

Nice thread Chloe, how sweet!

I LOVE your house. Its nice inside. Ours was built in the 1920's and is really daggy....in a severe need of a facelift (our kitchen is pink!).

Laurette - I love Isobel - we are calling our first daughter Isabelle, its a name from both families.

Michelle - let me know how the wax job goes. Am contemplating one myself.
Laurette
Yeah, you should do it Amanda! I used to be so scared, then went once and have been back every month since! You wont regret it!

Isobel was the name of Glenn's grandmother Chessor - so the baby would have the same name as it's great grandmother. Then the middle name would be Evelyn, after Glenn's maternal grandmother who is still alive at almost 92! I want to make it 'our own' though, so that's why I will be saying 'Izzy' all the time - I like it.
Saffire
Laurette, and here I thought Izzy was inspired by a certain television program that is airing tonight... laugh.gif
magnetique
Well THAT Izzy sort of turned me off having the name myself.... but hopefully by the time our Izzy's are old enough she will have been forgotten!
Saffire
Oh Amanda I forgot to say I love period style homes. I've been looking at all the housey magazines all weekend and just love what you can do with some of those gorgeous 1920's houses.

I heard pink kitchens are making a come back LOL! biggrin.gif
Laurette
I LOVE Izzy Hoyland - she's my favourite Neighbour. Hopefully our Izzy grows up to be as good looking as her! PMSL... I am sure that Glenn only sits through Neighbours with me so that he can have a perve...

So, is anyone addicted to Idol with me this year? I am loving Mutto - I want to marry him, I think...
