I cant believe that my wedding day has come and gone so quickly.

I had the most perfect day and would not change anything for the world. I was surrounded by friends and family whom all had a great time and i am now Mrs Coady. wub.gif

I am in the process of getting photos so as soon as i have them i will post them for anyone who wants to see them.

Now comes the endless task of changing my name..
---
Congrats MichelleBelle! I cannot wait to see your piccies. I have decided not to change my name at this stage.
Laurette
urgh, I cant even think about doing that - Still not even sure where to start! Anyone in NSW have a clue?

We are off to Wollongong today for a few days, will be back Sat or Sun, then I promise that I will do my bit in getting this thread up and going again!
MichelleC
I have attached a short novel with regards to the wedding day and surrounding events. Its a bit long - sorry.

Laurette, i am from NSW and first thing i had to do was - obviously - order a marriage certificate from BDM. With changing my bank accounts and credit cards i had to chase down a Justice of the peace so he could sight signatures etc - how very painful.. However things like changing medicare cards, insurance were quite simple, just needed to fill out a form and they sighted the certificate and medicare was done and the insurance company changed the details over the phone.

Leading up to the wedding it did not seem real. I had two weeks off before the wedding but it still did not seem real. Other people get married, I don't.

The week before the wedding we had the groomsman rock up at out place and want to stay the week. Chris and I both were under the impression that he was only staying the Saturday night, then it turns out he was staying the week. We found out late Sunday afternoon that he was staying the week, and this sent me into a mini break down. Thank heavens my cousin had just moved in across the road so I could talk to her, otherwise I don't know what would have happened. To start with on Sunday I was feeling great, I had tried my wedding gown on and low and behold it was looser than what it had been the week before. So this was great news, it fit perfectly, plenty of space to move but not too much.

So off we go home, only to find out that the groomsman (Andrew) was staying the week - cue mini breakdown. All I wanted to do in the week leading up to the wedding was relax, not have to worry about entertaining someone.... Cue tears... On top of him staying it was the first time that the wedding actually felt real, and I got very overwhelmed very quickly. Chris and I discussed asking him to leave, but I thought that this would be really rude on our behalf, so he stayed. Andrew and I were chatting during the week and he said to me that he had come down specifically to spend time with Chris before the wedding, so I could not hold this against him, so I simply dealt with it.

Having said that, this was the reason I was so glad to spend Friday night by myself. Skye (matron of honour) was supposed to stay but that fell through. So it was just me to do all the last minute beauty things that needed doing.

Friday morning we set up the reception. After a bit of a tiff with Chris (which we soon got over - it was about how we were going to set up the tables at the reception so that we had enough space for everyone (had not thought of this before hand) we got the table set up, cutlery and everything out and the decorations on the table. Mum was a great help with all of that, as was Andrew. The reception looked great, our colour scheme of green and purple looked fantastic and we were so pleased with the layout of the tables.

Friday night we had the rehearsal at 7.30. It was a very relaxed rehearsal, just where we had to stand etc. By this stage I realised I had forgotten to put some things on the table, so mum and dad and Sandra, Skye and I went down and put them on the tables. Once again we all had a look around and all agreed that the reception looked great.

It was as I was saying goodbye to mum and dad that it hit me that this was really happening. all the weeks of it not seeming real and that other people get married not me had caught up on me and I ended up having a quit cry on dads shoulder, he was hugging me at the time that it all caught up with me. It was about 9.30 by this stage so I was real and truly ready to go home.

I had a great sleep and woke up at about 6.30 Saturday morning however did not get up til about 7.30. Once up I was straight into the shower to wait Skye whom had threatened to show up at 6!!! I managed to have a little bit of breakfast and mum and dad showed up a little before 9. Dad was in one of the cars that we were using as a bridal car. (We had three statesman's - a champagne coloured one for us and white statesman's for the bridal party).

Being so close to 9, it was about time for me to leave as home was where the boys were getting the cars ready. Had to be gone before Chris got there!!! As mum was having her hair done with me she came with me while I checked into the motel where we were getting ready and then came to the hairdressers. (the girls did not have to be there until later).

Mum and I took dip and biscuits to the hairdressers and to my surprise the girls at the hairdressers and gotten me a bottle of champagne!! So mum and I were into the champagne at 9.30 in the morning. By the time Skye showed up at the hairdressers at about 10.30 I was very relaxed. Skye and Sandra had their make up started before their hair and mum had her make up done at the hairdressers (the make up artist travelled with us). So by the time we got to the motel at about 1 it was only a matter of touching up the girls make up and then having mine done. After a quick feed of sandwiches and some more wine (we were onto our third bottle by now - between four of us). we had our make up finished and were having a great time having a chat when we noticed it was after 2!!! The photographer showed up at 2.30 and I helped the girls get into their dresses (they were so gorgeous!!!).

Next thing we knew it was 5 to 3 and the cars had shown up!!! And I was standing in there in my undies and bra!!! The girls got me into my dress and it was all I could do not to cry. I was shaking that much that they had to put my ear-rings in and necklace on. They helped me into my shoes and put my garter on.

My hairdresser (a great friend) had also shown up at the motel to fix any last minute hair problems and put my tiara and veil in. Now the nerves were well and truly kicking in, but I was surrounded by great friends, so they were good nerves (if that makes any sense).

We posed for a couple of photos before leaving the motel shortly after three.

The boys had left space at the front of the church for all three bridal cars so it was a matter of getting out of the car and walking into the church grounds.

Apparently I was only two minutes late - according to Chris, it was a 3.30 start for the ceremony.

Father came out to meet us and we made out way to the entrance of the church.

This is when time seemed to fly.

Sandra was off up the aisle first, then Skye and then dad and Myself.

By this stage tears had started again and I could not look up at Chris, dad was rubbing my hand and by about half way down the aisle I could look up.

It truly felt like we were only there for 5 seconds when in reality we were there for 20 minutes. It was so simple and beautiful, everything that we wanted it to be with gorgeous organ music.

We said our vows perfectly (which is a good thing because Chris was hooked up to a microphone).

After we signed the registry and it was being signed by our bridal party, Chris pulled me aside and gave me a beautiful locket, with C & M inscribed on one side and Our Wedding Day on the other side. Totally blew me away.

Next thing we knew we were walking back up the aisle as man and wife and outside to be inundated with hugs and Kisses. I don't think I have ever been hugged or kissed so much!!!

After a couple of photos we were in the cars to do some laps up the main street, horns blaring having the time of our lives, before going to the photography location.

It was so relaxing where we had photos taken, down by the river, just perfect. We had a couple of wines, the boys had a couple of beers and got some great photos.

We had to walk down stairs to get to the river, no worries - except on the way back up when I put my foot through one of my petticoats..... So relieved it was not the dress I tore. So here we are everyone gathered around me, fixing the bottom of this petticoat that I had ripped. Will look great on video I am sure...

Off to the reception now to have family photos taken by the lake.

At about 6.30 we were being introduced as to our guests at the reception.

After a quick loo break we went around to say hello to guests.

During dinner we did the speeches, which were all very well spoken by the people doing the speeches.

We cut the cake after dinner, (it was being served as dessert so needed to be dished up) had our first dance to Heaven by Kate Dearaugo. danced with the parents etc.

After dessert we did the garter toss and bouquet throw. then it was all formalities over.

Everyone had such a good time it was so great to see everyone talking and mingling and dancing. It was great.

By 12.30 we had left the reception and were on our way to the pub. By 2.30 we were back at the motel room talking about everything that had happened, while doing this I was pulling the millions of bobby pins out of my hair. By 4 in the morning we were asleep.

The next morning we were back at home with both sets of parents opening up wedding presents and checking the wishing well.

Monday I had my hair cut and Tuesday we were flying to Queensland for the honeymoon and an incredibly relaxing time.

Ok, if you have gotten this far, you have done really well. Pics will be in tomorrow, so will send you some then.. We also got word last night that the first copy of the dvd was ready - that will really be intersting to see...

If you have gotten this far - thanks for reading!!!

With changing your name the first thing i did was was change the bank accounts. AS i hadnt had joint accounts with my husband prior to the wedding i also closed all my accounts and went over to his bank. Drivers licence was easy. They just needed a copy of the cert from BDM not the one you get on the day. Private health just needed to sight the cert.
Best of luck with cnaging all your details

Hi Girls,

Just popping in quickly to say hello biggrin.gif I've done a full read up on all your wonderful days and seen the pic's. I'm so glad you all had fabulous days (Michelle, I cracked up when I read about your brothers pants, lol) and the photo's that I've seen look great. You all looked beautiful biggrin.gif Laurette, your professional pic's are great!

My day went perfectly as well. I couldn't get the grin off my face the whole day. Walking up that aisle to Jase and saying my vows was the most incredible, emotional feeling. I'll never forget it. wub.gif

Unfortunately, I didn't get time to download any pic's before leaving for the honeymoon, so promise I will do a proper write up of the day, with pic's, when I get back.

Today is our last day in the Maldives sad.gif It is so, so, so beautiful here, I wish we could stay longer. Next we are off to the ancient temple ruins of Cambodia. What a difference to the luxury and beautiful blue waters of here. I'm sure I'll be in culture shock for a few days.

Beck and Amanda, your honeymoon pic's are gorgeous. It looks like you both had a fantastic time. biggrin.gif

Better sign off for now. It's taken me a good hour to read everyone's stories and look at all the piccies. The 'husband' (how funny does that feel), is starting to get restless waiting for me ph34r.gif

'Speak' to you all soon,

jo

Hey JO! Great to hear from you!

How are the Maldives this time of year?

Looking forward to the pics on your return,

Amanda
Heather :)
Hey girls,

Thought I would pop in to congratulate all of the March brides! It certainly does feel surreal that it is all over - but I am sure like me all of you are basking in the joy of married life and enjoying every minute of reliving your wonderful day!

The stories I have read are absolutely beautiful, I love seeing how the weddings came together!

Looking forward to some of these professional photos coming through as well!

So congratulations to all your Mrs! I don't know about you but I am frustrated with maintaining two surnames and two signatures, my wallet looks dodgy with two surnames! However I am well and trully commenced with changing my name, licence, bank cards and medicare done. Work is slow but we will get there, and now I just have to work through my list of things. I made a list if anyone wants me to send it just let me know.

Love to you all

Hi Jo, I am a bit jealous I was checking out maldives last night it looks gorgeous, we are still deciding what to do for our delayed honeymoon. We are tossing up a few options and will see how the savings account looks in a few months so we dont go into debt for it!

Hi Girls!

Just popped in quickly to say hi and I miss you all so much smile.gif

We're in LA - almost our last stretch of travel before heading back to Brissie and then home to Melbourne. We're staying with Alex's family here and its really nice to be in a house instead of a hotel just for a little change. Also it means I can easily borrow the internet now and then!

Just read everyone's stories and had a quick look at all the wonderful pics! Everyone looked like they had a fabulous big day and I can see some stunning honeymoon photos coming through as well!!!

We've posted a few honeymoon updates on our wedding website in the honeymoon section but it definitely needs updating (think we only have up to France but since then we've been to Prague, NY and now LA). We're having a fabulous time. We've done so much shopping we've had to buy another 2 suitcases! Luckily we packed light heading out...

Off to do the touristy thing today - Disneyland!

Love and miss you all!

Chloe XOXOXOXOXOXXOOX

Saffire
Hullooooo??!?!

Where is everyone?

I'm back in Brissie!!!

Hi Chloe...

We are still here... I think....

Today is our last day of our honeymoon, Glenn is back at work tomorrow, and me back at work on Thursday... not really looking forward to that!

Looking forward to hearing all about your trip!

You are a dag mum!

Hi Chloe, Welcome back!

I am in the process of posting a small selection of our professional pics to the Newlyweds forum. The rest will have to wait til he posts them online, my poor computer cannot take it any longer!!!

Amanda

Happy one month anniversary March 18-ers!!!

Viewed our professional photos today and they are stunnn-nning! I love them. All 1200 of them!!!

We have to get the number down to about 200 for our album. We spent about 5 hours in the studio today going through them and have only managed to get it down to about 550 (from 1200 which is pretty good...). We're back in the studio tomorrow for the 'designing' of the album - although I'm not sure how we can get to that if we haven't narrowed down the number of photos yet...

I'm hoping our photographer will post some of ours online too - he can't post all of them as they would be impossible to view as there are so many...!

It was wonderful to see all th photos from the start of the big day until the end... Really reminded us what a great day it was!

Laurette - we only just got back from our honeymoon and ALex is back at work on Thursday. Me on Friday... NOt sure how I will cope!

Congrats Amanda and Kathy on getting your video and prof photos! Can't wait to see the photos smile.gif

Welcome back from your honeymoon girls. We have to get this thread going again *nudges Laurette*

Married life is great, actually I dont feel much different, just better, like we are complete now. I am so thankful that the planning is over, as you may have guessed it was the most stressful thing I have done, but moving twice during the planning stage and having to find new jobs also didnt help. I am sleeping like a baby now its over and I love it!

I have been sick for the past 2 weeks, started off as a cold/cough, now the lymph nodes in my neck are huge and really tender, sick in the tummy and exhausted. Ive been send home early from work a few times in the last weeks. Hopefully I will get better soon. neil also got sent home sick today, he must have been sick because they army wont just send you home if you dont need it.

Anyways, Im dead tired need to sleep.

HI Michelle et al,

And here was me wishing I could go back and do it all again! I loved the wedding day, and *most* of the planning. It was a bloody good distraction from my thesis, thats for sure!

Unfortunately for us, post wedding has been nothing but stress. Paddy has been hugely busy at work (making up for the 3 weeks off) and I have only 3 months and 1 weeks to write the thesis. Things at least are moving along well, but I'm up at 5am every day writing like a loon. I have decided that I'm giving myself til the end of May to write the last 20,000 words....then that leaves all of June and July to tart it all up....so to speak....well, as much as you can tart 100,000 words up anyway! I'm just hoping I've left myself enough time.

ANyway, I posted professional pics in our Newlyweds thread. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Amanda
Saffire
Amanda your professional photos are

STUUUUNNNNIIINNNNGGGG

Isn't there someone on this forum who knows of a good canvas online company? Wonder what that is... You should put some of those gorgeous photos on canvas - I'm sure Kathy would love one.. or two... or three.. wink.gif

Sorry to hear about the post wedding stress - we're about to find out what that's like. I'm sitting here in denial today. We arrived in Melbourne last night. I return to work tomorrow and Alex went back today.

He can't even chat on msn he's so busy. But good news is that we're off to see Lion King tonight with mum who came down to melbourne for a long weekend - its her birthday today!

Saffire
Someone take these Tim Tams away from me!!!
magnetique
Allo Chloe...I see you lurking

I have put on like 5kg since the wedding, courtesy of easter eggs, and honeymoon gluttony....

Our photographer knows of a canvas company, costs about $240 per photo. Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

Amanda
Saffire
There's a post in the general weddings section - someone there knows an online company who do it very reasonably.

Our photographer charges about $1500 for a canvas. After the album I have no money left for anything *sniff*. But then we're not supposed to scan photos in and enlarge them ourselves... we will just be doing it anyways .....\

No one took the Tim Tams away from me so I ate another one. You all have a lot to answer for!!!

Laurette
I think that Big W do them - you can organise it on line. Amanda, off to have a look at your photos now

smile.gif
Saffire
Hi Laurette!!!

Michelle - get better buddy!!!!!!

I have since had another Tim Tam. This packet is just soooo big.

Haven't weighed myself and don't plan to.
Saffire
Btw, I have just spent my last day of annual leave eating Tim Tams and posting photos onto my wedding website... Oh and designing that signature (see below I call it - "runaway bride") And mucking around with my avatar.

I think this is the part where I need to get a life. I don't wanna go back to worrrkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

*sniff*
Laurette
Chloe, it's beautiful - your sig and avatar!

So tell us what ended up happening with your dress?

Or did you already do that and I missed it?

Which one did you wear, where you happy with it?

Details!

(I posted this just after your last post Chloe, but it refuses to show me as the last poster in the thread list, so I am editing to see if it will update smile.gif )
Kathy W
Hi Girls,

Amanda,

A canvas would be lovely biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif And Mothers day is coming up soon*hint hint*

Chloe,

I just checked your website the photos are beautiful.I think my fav is the one outside the church you look so happy but Alex looks grumpy laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I love all the new sigs you girls have cant wait for the new tickers saying bubs due on this date biggrin.gif It will give me an excuse to get my knitting needles out and some blue or pink wool.

No pressure intended Amanda.

kathyxxx
Laurette
Hopefully I will soon be able to commission you (yes I would pay you Kathy) to make some mittens for me for when bubs (that I am yet to get UTD with) is little so that he/she doesnt scratch themselves! I love mittens.

He he.

Canvasses are an excellent idea...

I would be interested to hear how a scanned photo comes out on canvas though... Chloe (hint hint)
Saffire
Hey Laurette smile.gif

I'd need to actually get the prof photos first to scan them. I think if the canvas was really big it wouldn't work but if it were small to medium size it should.

I should be getting a proofs book soonish. Hopefully. Trying to convince my photographer to put some of our pics (we have over 1200 of them) on the internet for family and friends to see. he said it would be difficult because there are so many...

I ended up wearing the dress Edyta (dressmaker in Brisbane) made for me in the last 2 weeks. It was beautiful - exactly how mum and I wanted it to be.

As planned, I wore the AP dress for the bridal waltz (Alex slipped on some water but otherwise it turned out beautifully...waiting for the video to watch it closely!) and wore the chinese outfit for the tea ceremony which happened after the church and before the reception.

I've had more tim tams. Whoever bought this really big packet???
Laurette
Yay! I thought that it would be that one, as it didn’t look like the MH dress in your pictures – but I just wanted to check. That’s excellent that it turned out, I am so excited for you!

I have to go and have another look at your pics I think, and I cant wait until you get all your professional ones back.

We only had about 250 photos, which seems like not many, compared to how many some people haven, which is a bit upsetting, but I am happy with the ones that we got, so that’s good.

Has anyone had their dress dry cleaned yet? I am curious about how much it cost…

Chloe, just wanted to let you know that the bracelet worked out perfectly! It looked awesome (if I may say so myself) and I got so many beautiful comments, I had three people ask me at the reception if I would leave it to them in my will! And both of my unmarried BM’s have noted that when they do get hitched, they want to wear it as their ‘something’ borrowed. In fact, whenever Ally has been over, she’s been trying it on and ‘practicing’! PMSL @ her…

Kathy W
Hi girls,

Laurette,

You wouldnt have to pay me just buy the wool and pattern you want and I will knit it.I love to knit its my latest hobby ask Amanda she is always getting something that Ive knitted.

About the dry cleaning of wedding gowns Amanda had hers done it cost her $140.00 with the veil (dont quote me on that ) but im pretty sure thats how much she said it was. They put it in a box all sealed up so critters cant get in and nest in there.

Im sure Amanda will correct me if I got it (the price)wrong.

kathyxxx
magnetique
Hey guys,

It was $120....that included the three veils, and a sturdy box to store them all in.

A
Saffire
Mum put my dress into the drycleaners while I was away - it was $220 for the dress and $30 for the box so $250 all up. I've heard they charge an arm and a leg for drycleaning...

Laurette so so so happy to hear your bracelet was (and still is of course!) gorgeous!!!

I was seriously tempted to accidently 'lose' it in the mail...and accidently find it on the 18th of March... I love the idea something being borrowed for other's special day. Really happy you decided to go with it - you deserve it gorgeousness!!!

I'm slowly slowly adding pictures to my website. It takes ages to load up (think my connection is stuffed).

I'll post a proper post in the newlyweds section when I've finally organised myself...Expect that to happen after our 1 or 2 year anniversary!!! laugh.gif
Laurette
Oh, that doesnt sound so scary about the dry cleaning now! Phew... i was stressing about it. Although still might have to wait until next pay day!

Thanks very much for that offer Kathy! I hope that I will be taking you up on it sooner rather than later.

I am supposed to be doiig our wedding thankyou cards today (yes I know I am slack) but I just cant decide how to make them look!

I will do up a few different ones and post them here for you all to have a look at....

Is ther anyone else here who is going to be TTC'ing with me? Or do I have to wait until I am up to #2 to share it with you girls? I would love to share the journey with one of my twins!

Saffire
Laurette

Wouldn't it be funny if I said to Alex, hey we need to start TTC now and when he asks why, I'll say - because because my wedding twin is also.. laugh.gif

Alas, we can't afford it - not after our photo album. And we're not ready...

But I'll mention it to Alex tongue.gif
Laurette
PMSL at you Chloe - I understand what you mean, dont worry!

I had to laugh at your story about the ring, although I guarantee that you would have felt so terrible when it was actually happening! Which reminds me that we havent seen a pic of your hand with your rings on properly yet! Only the backward one that you had before the wedding (hint hint).

Well, my news is that we are moving shortly. Glenn has been given a great transfer, to Young. So it's only an hour from Temora (closer to Canberra! yay!) and it's going to be a good payrise too, and hopefully after this, he will be in line for a manager's position, which means lots more $$ and a car - which will be good, because I will get my car back! so that's a plus.

So we think that I am going to start looking for a job over there. I really hope that I will be able to get one, I am going to apply at places like Big W and stuff too, just so that I am over there, and then I can worry about getting back into my profession once we are there.

We want to move over there so that Glenn isnt travelling, it's not the best road, especially at night and in winter, and the rent is also cheaper, and it will save in fuel, which is getting ridiculous in price.

Hi girls I dont know if you have seen but we have a cat 5 cyclone heading here, just heard on the radio its more powerful that larry and tracy! Im at work til 4 but will go home and pack a suitcase of valuables, clothes, wedding pics etc ready for the cyclone shelter. It is meant to hit tomorrow. I am really scared, I grew up in Nth Qld so used to cyclones, but nothing this big and scary.
magnetique
Hey Michelle,

JUst heard on the news they are cancelling all the Anzac Day stuff. Hope everything will be ok, am thinking of you!

Amanda
Laurette
Hi Michelle! I did hear this, and was thinking of you! I hope that you will be safe, make sure you text me updates when you can so I can let the girls know you are OK.

Keep safe
xxx
Saffire
Michelle - OMG I hope it somehow misses you or disintergrates between now and tomorrow. Good idea with packing the wedding photos etc. Wow, I don't think I would cope if I had to pack my essentials. I would want to bring everything with me (which wouldn't fit in a cyclone shelter).

I pray that all goes well and you and Neil are very safe and sound.

Hugs, Chloe XOXOXOXOXO
---
Thanks girls its expected to hit tomorrow afternoon. I hope it fizzles out.

My other cheery news that Ive just been told by my neighbour who works with Neil (Neil still at work) is that he is off to Afghanistan in the near future sad.gif
Laurette
oh *^%$.

That's so not nice news to hear. I am sure that Neil will be alright though, he's a pretty good, sensible bloke, and he ALWAYS will come home to you! Who wouldnt! Would have been nice for N to be the bearer of the news, though.

Thinking of you xx

Congratulations Glenn!!!

Alex is waiting to hear about his pay rise today. He's also thinking of changing jobs to get a better payrise if this one isn't great - we have heaps to pay off from the wedding photos!!!

Michelle - you ok? How did you guys hold up? Hope everything is ok smile.gif

That really sucks about Neil having to go off to Afghanistan soon. Especially so soon after you guys are married. As Laurette said, he'll be fine I'm sure of it. Do you know how long he would have to go for?

Hey Jo - where are you?? I was wondering the other day how your situation worked out with your friends at your wedding...

Really reluctant to work today...

Yeah, I am struggling also, Chloe.

Thanks for the congratulations - Glenn is very happy about it, and now I just need to get off my bum and work on my resume and letters of applications and get them off.

Oh, I also need to do the thankyou cards from the wedding, which of course is proving to be difficult. I need to order more cardboard so that I can make them similar to what we had for the wedding invitations. I think that Glenn thinks that I will be able to make them all for free though, which is so far from the truth. Poor chicken is a bit disillusioned.

Michelle, I am guessing that you are all OK, as the news said that Darwin was spared by the cyclone, so I was very happy to hear that. You have certainly moved to a place of extreme weather!

Amanda and Chloe, you are off the hook with the TTC! I have discovered that Beck is going to be my twin TTC buddy, so hopefully we will be able to share the baby dust and get UTD SOON!

Chloe, hope that Alex gets good news today! What does he do for a crust?

Heh, thanks Laurette for the kind offer, but sadly I have to give birth to this bi@tch of a thesis first!

Our professional pics are online now....you can view them HERE if you want to look at them, but there are heaps there.

Has anyone heard from Michelle? Is she ok?

Better get back to the writing...off to see mum this weekend which will be good smile.gif

Hi everyone, we survived, it lost intensity when it hit land so we just got a bit of rain and wind.

Laurette congrats about the move.

Today I found out that he will be gone for 6 months if he goes. How are you meant to live 1/2 a year without your husband, knowing he is in a war zone sad.gif He has a briefing tomorrow so should know more then. Im feeling a little bit sorry for myself sad.gif Everyone keeps saying just think about the money he will bring home (about $70K) thats nice but Id prefer him here with me...

Hope everyone else is ok.

Oh Michelle, you poor thing. I am so sorry to hear this has to happen sad.gif I cannot imagine how hard it must be for you to have to deal with. I hope that your work and your nice new neighbours will be able to keep you occupied. Maybe by then you will be eligible for more holidays and you might be able to go and visit your mum for a while, or have your mum come over and stay with you for a month or so? Would that be possible?

I hope that he finds out everything you need to know when he goes to the briefing smile.gif And just remember that we are all here for you whenever you need us - you know you can always email/ring/text me at any time!

I might be moving, but I will still be haunting these forums and this thread!

xxx thinking of you!

Amanda, I have started looking at your photos - they are AMAZING! I cant wait to find one of your mum to have a stickybeak at her too! That might be a job for later on tonight smile.gif smile.gif
