Michelle, I dont deal with chucks either... No way!

Have you got like a 100 of those Ambi Pur things in it?

I had a bit of a wander around in the shoes, and they are beautiful, but I think that I can manage to go down a size, so I am sending them back today to exchange for the smaller size. Hopefully they wont take too long.

I also ordered my corset last night, from www.debras.com.au, I was going to go with the one the same as Chloe, but they dont make them big enough for me apparantly - I am a 24, but when I put my measurements in, it didnt like them and spat out a Not Available. I figure that this company that I ordered from is in Aust anyway.
Laurette
So now all I need is some earrings, a bracelet and some knickers and stockings, and I will have an outfit.
--M--
Laurette I want a pic of your shoes with ur foot in them! Before u send them back - go to Williams and you can get these rubbery things that go in the sole, they might just make it fit a bit more snug for you. I have these for my shoes as they were a tad bit loose and now they are good.

Come on girls, almost 2000 posts lets do it today I have time to spare waiting for the drycleaner!

Oh and you will be happy to know I packed 3 boxes already. I needed a break after 3 boxes hehe.

I would go to the shoe shop, but these are seriously a full size too big! they dont hang on at the heel when I walk. So I will just get a smaller size and then I will be right, and will take a photo for you, K? smile.gif

Well done on the three boxes!

QUOTE (ellerson82 @ May 2 2005, 04:52 PM)
We had booked a venue that was going to end up soo expensive, but in the end we cancelled that and now have a casual beach type wedding planned. We coudlnt justify spending thousands and thousands on one day. We now have the wedding we want that will not be as formal for a lot less, and the money we save can go towards putting a house on our block of land.

Ps. I have so lost motivation for planning this wedding. We are moving to melbourne in a week so I guess I just have other things on my mind but planning a wedding is on my list of things to do at the moment. How bad does that sound, the very thought of it exhausts me!! sad.gif

Ive been ready previous posts and I found a post from May, last time I moved. 2 moves within a year is a bit rough dont you think?

So much for cheap beach wedding, this bloody thing is going way over budget its much more expensive that we ever thought a beach wedding could be blink.gif

Bugger about the shoes Laurette!!

I'm going away this weekend for three days, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to Northern NSW a town called Kingscliff. It's Marks work xmas party thing. The company is paying for 2 nights accommodation, plus dinner for saturday night and as much alcohol as we can drink on saturday night. All we have to do is drive ourselves there. Pretty sweet deal really!

Anyway, the point is i won't be able to be online to wish myself, Laurette, Tamara and anyone else i've missed a happy 3 months to go on Sunday. So here it is, a few days early.......

HAPPY 3 MONTHS TO GO GIRLS!!!

Beck

Hey Beckabunny if your going a3ay I wont see you again (well online anyway) til I get to darwin next year. Have a great Christmas I hope all the plans are going well. See ya next yr wink.gif
Laurette
Wow Beck, have a good time! I am sure that you will have a good weekend! We have Glenn’s work Christmas party on this weekend too, but it’s here in Temora, and they have it in the park so that all the families can come with kids and stuff. I don’t think that I will kick on with them after, as I have to work at 8am on Sunday morning through until 2pm. At least I only have to work a quarter of the weekend… our office has to be open from 8am til 8pm each day because of harvest, I am just glad that I don’t actually work at the receival site - it’s 6am through until like, midnight every day *insert spew emoticon here*

Michelle, I cant believe that you are going to be offline. Will you promise to text me so that I can update the girls on how your week-long journey is going?

As of Tomorrow............

91 Days or

13 weeks or

6.5 fortnights

Until i walk down that aisle!!!

Scary, when i first counted up 13 weeks, i thought i must have made a mistake, so i recounted it, and i came up with 13 again!

Dammit! i can belive i missed it when it clicked over from three digits to two. Ah well! A belated horray for double digits!!

Oh my Michelle! *sheds a tear* i'll miss you! Have a great xmas yourself! I hope your new place has air con! The weather is wreched up here of late, you'll need it to sleep.

Beck

Yes only 12 weeks for those on 11th march 2006!!!

Well i've had a crappy day so far, wished i just ran off and eloped or jsut had my sister & sister in law as my bridesmaids. One (well call her CC) who has been pretty good with the dress fitting and oraganised the hens day is now telling me i need to relax everything will fall into place (obviously never involved in organising a wedding!) Anyhow, i said that i wanted the Hen's day in the first 2 weeks of Feb, and told them to talk with the Bestman to get them on the same weekend, well it's on the 18th 3rd weekend, plus the boys is the week before so lots of the girls can't come as they have to travel a fair way and the boys are down the weekend before! Sorry this is a long one!!!! The reason for it being on the 18th one of my bridesmaids (we'll call her HH) said she just can't come that day (11th).
Well this bridesmaid has not even seen or tried on her dress and is starting to be difficult in organising the alterations fitting! These two are supposed to be my best friends!!! Am i being selfish?

I've really have just had a enough today, i really haven't asked anything of the girls at all, and now i've lost all excitement in my own wedding!! sad.gif

I know CC has never been involved with a wedding, and HH just got engagement recently so they have no idea how much work goes into a wedding, but the obviously think they can just turn up on the day and everything will be just dandy!
I'm also past being upset i'm pissed off!!!

Even Jimmy thinks that HH has not done anything for me, and he's known her for longer and says that she has always been selfish!

Well sorry girls just had to air it to someone other than Jimmy for a change.

Thanks for listening feel a bit better now.

PS Laurette i'll be in wagga on the 15th January have fitting for dress.
--M--
wow it seems so scary when you put your time line like that Beck! Not long to go!!

Yep Laurette I will text you to give an update of my hair trial, etc

Laurette
Tamara, we will have to meet up for lunch or something... and I would love to have a look at your dress if you would let me come?
--M--
I am now the owner of a pretty smelling car again.

Neil had an early knock off so we went to the invite place to get some stickers to seal the back on the envelopes and more ribbon just in case, and soem paper to write abotu the money tree on. and afer that we went to organise the cat transport which is now done. another thing off my huge list. then we got home and ive been gardening since. I sat on the couch to have a break and fell asleep.

the good bit of the march out story is above, neil getting 2 awards.

Oh my god girls. The scariest storm ever just passed through.

I stepped outside after work and it was like a hurricane, it was raining everywhich way except down, the sky was GREEN (not that i could actually see the sky coz the rain was so heavy)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was completely freaking out. Marks car windscreen wipers stopped working 5 mins out from picking me up, so i had to get a lift home from a co-worker once the rain calmed down.

I knew before i left home i had left every single window in the house open coz it was so hot!!!!

I swear i was so scared, i didn't know what to do with myself!

Keep you eyes peeled on the news, there's got to be something on the news!!!

I just can't believe what i've just been through.........

Beck
Dancing Girl
Hi Girls!

Beck, that storm sounds freaky. Hope you're o.k unsure.gif Your flowers are great btw biggrin.gif Sue has done a fantastic job.

Michelle, how's your packing going? I hate moving - especially the packing bit dry.gif Hopefully this will be the last move for a little while for you. Congrats to Neil on his awards. You must be so proud of him biggrin.gif

Laurette, that's a bummer about your shoes. At least you can get them exchanged for the smaller size. When will you get the new pair back?

I had a facial this week as well Michelle biggrin.gif I have been going once a month for the last couple of months. I go during my lunch. It is divine biggrin.gif I changed over to Clarins earlier this year and my skin loves it. It is so much better since I started using it.

One of my girlfriends uses Dermalogica and swears by it. I've been thinking of trying their daily exfoliator (is is microfoliant????). I've heard it's really good and I get very dry skin so I want to get rid of all of those dead skin cells!

Laurette, you mentioned an Australian based website that sell their products cheaply. Could you PM please? I might also try that hand and nail vitamin cream. My nails always get so long, then crack and break. Doesn't seem to matter what I do to help them wink.gif

Best get going, i've got an early morning tomorrow, so better get to bed

Jo.

Im off to Puckapunyal today if I can get motivated going to say goodbye to some friends. I want to hang around for the big 2000th post though..

YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad I did not miss this!
Saffire
Oooh Champagne before 10am!

How decadent tongue.gif
Laurette
Yay, champagne! I just went back to read the rest of the last page, and Chloe sneaked in before me! I am poster #2003 I guess!

So, now, onto 3000...

Not much happening with me. Big fight with Glenn last night, after he came home at 10.30pm, when he was due home at 7.30, and his dinner had gone cold (as it would after 3 hours). mad.gif

Admittedly, one of our best mates has sold his pub, and is moving on, but he didn’t think to tell me this…

I was panicking so much because I had ring him, and no answer, so I rang the pub, nope not there, and then I was crying and about to ring his mother when I thought that I would just ring him once more, and he actually answered, and was right out the front of the house. The reason that he didn’t answer the first time was because he was only a block away from the house… Grr, I was so so so cranky. I had sent him a couple of texts, and he didn’t reply, then didn’t answer his phone, and I was just really really scared – I was convinced that something bad had happened with all the 100’s of trucks that are getting around now with harvest, the big ones wouldn’t even know if they ran over someone.

I turned into this horrible, teary person that I didn’t like real much. I was more frightened than cranky, but I was MAD when he got home. Just one text message to tell me what he was doing would have solved the problem.

So, as a result, I now get taken out for dinner and a movie in Wagga. I reckon that I deserve it.

Beck, I reckon that you must have been so scared in that storm! We had one of them last Friday, and it was bad. ((((HUGS))))

Michelle, that is great that you get to have an extra day with your family! What great news… though you do have to get on with the packing now!

How is your car? Stinky at all?

Jo, good to see you! Pop in here a bit more often, K? Even see if you can drag those other 25th girls over and we can have an even bigger party, yeah?
Laurette
Girls, we gotta get this thread pumping! The Sept 2006 gals are going to catch us if they keep up their current rate!

Jo, I PMd you that link!
Saffire
Hey Laurette!

So sorry to hear you and Glenn had a tiff last night. I would have freaked out too if I was expecting Alex and he didn't show. Glad to hear you're getting something back for your stress wink.gif

Am going to a ball tonight with Alex. We jsut realised we have never been to a ball together so this should be fun. I also realise that I'm not dressed, haven't done my make up, and am still decide which shoes/bag to wear. I need to pick up Alex in 1 hr.

This should be interesting... Maybe should go get more champagne?
--M--
Lautrette that sucks thathe didnt call you. Id be very pissed off. Chloe have heaps of fun at the ball I want pics ofyou and alex all dress up!

Well i just got home from Puckapunyal, went to say bye to my friends and workmates Im so exhausted now.

Mum called me when I was there and told me she recently ran into the first guy i was ever with - he has a kid and works as a door to door salesman. Mum had great delight in telling him I am living in vic and getting married etc. I havent seen him for 5 years its cool to know what he's up to. (good to know neil has a better job than him too hehe)
Laurette
Michelle, that is heaps good... it's like a small sense of achievement!

Chloe, have fun at the ball smile.gif I am sure that you will, so take lots of pics for us, OK?

Glenn and I arent even going to the movies and stuff now, he's really really good at saying that he'll do something, and then renigging on it. Really annoys me - so I am going home to sulk tonight.

My corset arrived today smile.gif I only ordered it on Wednesday, and then they must have posted it express yesterday and now it's here! It looks REALLY big in the cups, so I hope that after all that, if fits! PMSL.

I will have to have a dress up on the weekend smile.gif
Dancing Girl
Hi girls. I promise to make a more concerted effort to pop in here to say hello more often biggrin.gif I used to be able to log on at work every day, but since all the crap, can't do it any more sad.gif I have to battle with Jase for the computer!

Happy 2000th post biggrin.gif What is our aim by March???

Laurette, I would have been petrified (and then furious) the same as you if it was me and Jase got home 3 hrs later than planned without a phone call. I'm a "catastrophiser", so if something happens outside of the norm (ie; not coming home when expected etc, having an unexplained health thing etc), I immediately think that the worst has happened and work myself up into an awful state. blink.gif

Michelle, that's good news about getting the extra day with your brother smile.gif Hope he and the kids are doing O.K. Christmas will probably be weird for them this year. Will your brother have them at Christmas or is their Mum wanting them?

Chloe, have a Ball at the your Ball biggrin.gif Hope you take some piccies of you and Alex all dressed up for us to see biggrin.gif

Great news on your torsolette Laurette. Hope is fits O.K biggrin.gif I found and put on layby a torsolette and g-string set the other day. It is so gorgeous, I can't wait to wear it biggrin.gif I was going to get one from the place you recommended Chloe, but then I tried on this one and fell in lurve wub.gif (although I was very naughty as this one was much more expensive ph34r.gif ). Stuff it! It's my wedding and I'll buy pretty things if I want to tongue.gif

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm off to the shop with my BM tomorrow to meet with the manager and "discuss" the dress issue. Jase is coming with us to provide the calming, logical, man influence, because I'm likely to get all emotional and irrational with them if they refuse to fix it. I worked out that between the dresses, wraps and my flowergirl dress, I'll have spent $1,985 there. For that amount of money, I would expect much better service mad.gif

I'll give you an update tomorrow dry.gif

Jo.
Saffire
Ouch... Fsheet hurtshing.

Muchie dancing...sLots of drrinkking.

Sleeepish tiiiimmee!
--M--
LOL Chloe!!!!! To me it sounds like youhad a great night hehehehe cool.gif

Jo - best of luck with the BM dresses today. They had better help you out mad.gif

Laurette I hope your Corsolette fits. What is a corsolette? I havent even thought about any underwear yet, maybe I will go comando ph34r.gif

Last night we started weeding at 6:30pm and we got a huge amount done - I must have looked classy, I took a glass outside to drink while gardening hehe. We went to a BBQ afterwards so Im feeling a bit seedy drank too much last night.

Oh Jo - regarding my bro and the kids - He will be alone for Christmas morning but gets the kids at the end of the day...

I hoipe you all have a great weekend!
beckabunny
Thought i'd just pop in and say 'see you on Monday sometime'

We're leaving here in a couple of hours.

Bye Michelle!!

I'll miss you!!

Hopefully i'll get some days off next week, i really need to get a move on with my OOS.

Beck
Laurette
CHLOE! WAKE UP!

I want an update of the ball please, if you could spare us some details and pictures!

Michelle, I am glad that your brother will get to have the time with the kids - I bet all morning they will be very excited about going to dads..

well, I played golf practice this morning. on the practice fairway, hit seven iron down, five iron back, driver down, driver back and I hit this awesome drive, and then snapped my tee, and I didnt have another one in my pocket (bags were at the top of the fairway) so I had to carry all my balls back. oh well, it was great fun!
Kathy W

Hi Kathy good to see you. My packing is going ok. I took over invitation duty neil took over packing duty. I need to have them finished by tomorrow so we can give them out at our going away party..

I have actually handed out 1 invite already, its nice to see someone open it up without care, take no notice of the pretty bow that sent me insane trying to tie nicely... hehe oh well

--M--
Ok girls question of the day

Shold I re-do mums invitation on one of the spare ones and put to mum and dad, or just leave the original with barbara?

I just looked at it and it looks a bit lonely just having her name, she might appreciate dads name on there too?
Laurette
I think that it would be a nice touch, Michelle smile.gif

Michelle,

If it was me I think I would like it to say to Mum and Dad.

Girls, your mission, should you chose to accept, is to get to 3000 posts by the time I return.. Ok I doubt that will happen but make sure you post heaps so I have lots to read when I get back.

I hope your christmas is fantastic and your new years is wonderful. Party hard but stay safe.
Love your fellow March twin, Michelle xoxoxoxoxox
