Hi twinnies,
I haven't been on much in last week or so. Flat out with friends wedding, H2B's stepbrother got married last weekend, busy work, hen's night (for my friend)....phew!!! Busy, busy, busy. My head is spinning!!
Firstly, my friends Hen's night! I organised it a chinese entertainment restaurant in the city which specialises in hen's nights, birthdays, party type celebrations etc. After dinner, they do karoake, limbo, dances (nutbush, bus stop etc). It was great fun and everyone really enjoyed themselves. They even had a "surprise guest" for all the lady guests of honour which was a Manpower stripper. It was hilarious and completely unexpected. The restaurant apparently organises it when they have hen's parties in. I also made my friend a pink veil (it was a pretty in pink party as that is her fave colour) and bought little pink halo's for all us girls. Overall, great night and lots of fun.
Next, was H2B's stepbrothers wedding. H2B was a groomsman and looked very handsome - can't wait to see him in his own wedding suit!!

The poor groom (stepbrother) came down with Chicken Pox a week before the wedding. Can you believe the absolute rotten bad luck of that! By the day of the wedding, he wasn't contagious, but was a bit tired and VERY spotty!!! They put make up all over him, but there's not much you can do with that many aggravated spots! Thank goodness for digital photography and airbrushing! The wedding was lovely and he organised a suprise firework display for his bride.
So, this week is my friends wedding. I'm off to the mountains on Friday arvo and up at 6am for hair and make-up on the saturday (11am wedding!!)

Can I just tell you how very bad I am in the mornings!! I can't stand any morning, let alone an early one! She is all organised and it should be a lovely wedding.
Jase finally came home last Friday afternoon from Perth. I came home from work a little early before I had to run off to the Hen's party and he ran off to do his groomsman duties, so sunday was our first proper time together. It's so good to have him back. Missed him lots !
Hope all you girls are going well. Welcome to March twinnies Invisigirl23. Congrats on your engagement and make sure you come in lots and let us know your plans. Reception at D0cks!de sounds lovely. I'm a Sydney girl too!
Michelle, how exciting to finally try on some dresses. I bet now that you've had a taste, you can't wait for your Mum to come visit so you can go out again!!
Kathy, my flower budget is a little naughty. Jase & I love flowers, so this was one area we agreed we would be happy to spend a little more on. I have booked my florist and her quote is @$800-900. This will be for a cascading bouquet for me lots of phale orchids (which will probably have to be air-brushed by my flower lady to get the right shade!), and some roses, bouquets for the 3 girls plus my junior BM, corsages for mothers and grandmothers and designer buttonholes for the 3 groomsmen, junior gm as well as fathers and grandfathers. This doesn't include any ceremony or reception flowers (which are part of our package), so it is quite exe but this woman has amazing style and unfortunately I love the expensive, hard to get, flowers!!! Oh well, I keep saying, I'm only going to do this once!
I got a message for Laurette. She says to say hello to everyone. She has been really busy at work and also had some issues come up with no internet usage, so won't be logging on at work. She's trying to organise a new job and will come on and say hello soon!
wow, sorry this was soooo long!! lots to catch up on!
Jo.
