Hi

We have put a Saturday date in Oct 2013 at the Gunner's barracks on hold. I was just wondering if you can help me with the following queries to make up my mind.

Ceremony and reception timing:

In Oct, the earliest time to start a ceremony is 530pm. Will there be enough time to take photos between the ceremony and reception (sunset will be about 7pm)? Or should we consider having the ceremony at another venue earlier in the day?

Alternatively, is it weird to take photos before the ceremony earlier in the day?

Venue layout:

My greatest concern is that the dance floor will be in the drawing room, a separate room to the dining room. Does anyone have experience in moving people to the dance floor? Also, is there enough space in the drawing room for a band?
